About the Presentation

“Even as mortals, so have these angels been father to many disappointments,

and they will point out that sometimes your most disappointing disappointments

have become your greatest blessings.” 48:6.36 (555.4)

Progress is the watchword of the universe. Adversity and disappointment are tools provided to us in mercy and grace by the heavenly Father to ensure that we continue to progress spiritually. Adversity rescues us from our comfort zones and disappointment stimulates us to change as we experience adversity. It is a value given to us because of the relativity of our concept frame which must continually give rise to higher and higher concepts.

Join us in this live online Zoom webinar as Dr. Perry, a long-time student of The Urantia Book, presents on the meaning and value of our struggles as taught by the Revelators. He will also share some personal insights gained as a result of a very recent crisis, which he says has resulted in an enhanced understanding and appreciation of the spiritual qualities being taught to us by our loving Father.

The presentation will be followed by a robust question and answer session moderated by Gard Jameson, with panelists Steve Dreier, Katharina Becker, and Sherry Cathcart Chavis. Audience members will have an opportunity to submit their questions and comments to Dr. Perry and the panel via the Zoom chat board.

Registered participants may submit questions in advance that they would like Dr. Perry and the panel to address.

Send your question(s) to:  sherry.layton@outlook.com

The Thought Leaders Forum is modeled in part on the TED Talks concept.

The primary distinction is that the UUI Thought Leaders Forum has

spiritual context for examining and presenting ideas of progressive, evolutionary value in science, philosophy, and religion.

It also looks at how these three domains of knowledge intersect with

human systems and the evolution of civilization.
