I want to share something important that I experienced recently after receiving an invitation from a friend.
She invited me to visit her and see where she and others are living. When I arrived, I learned about a painful history in Kasese, where years ago the Nyamwamba River flooded and destroyed homes, property, and sadly took many lives.
Those who survived lost everything. Some were taken in by relatives, while others were placed in a camp where they are still living today. Life there is very difficult, and I was told that support comes only occasionally, such as 50kg of posho and 20kg of beans every six months, which is not enough for daily survival.
But in the middle of this hardship, I also felt called to share something deeper—the good news of hope, love, and God’s care for every human being. The message I shared with them is that no matter how painful the past has been, their lives still have value, purpose, and dignity.
The good news is that God has not forgotten them. They are not abandoned, and there is still hope for healing, restoration, and a better future. Even in difficult conditions, we are called to love one another, support those in need, and bring encouragement to the brokenhearted.
This experience reminded me that sharing the good news is not only about words, but also about showing love through action—helping, caring, and standing with those who are suffering.
Let us remember them, pray for them, and do what we can to bring hope into their lives.
You Are a Child of a Loving God, and You Matter.
Dear Friends,
I need to clarify something urgently.
Someone is sending emails asking for money for the women’s project on behalf of Monica and me. Please know: that is not us.
If you receive any email from monicakemp56@gmail.com, please understand it is not me and it is not Monica. We did not send it and we have not authorized anyone to fundraise using that address.
Our real email addresses are:
Onesmas: niwamanyaonesmas04@gmail.com
Monica: monicakemp54@gmail.com
If you receive any request for money from monicakemp56@gmail.com or any other address claiming to be us, please ignore it and let us know right away.
I am also trying to find out who is behind this. If it needs security involvement, we will do so, as this is breaking the law.
This is a humble request — please help us stop this by not responding to those emails and by alerting us if you get one.
Thank you for your trust and support.
With respect,
Niwamanya Onesmas

I learned to pray, to love, to rise… because someone lived it first.Growth is the purpose of mortal life.
Pray for the welfare of your families, friends, and fellows, but especially pray for those who curse you, and make loving petitions for those who persecute you
I am the one writing this message, and the faces you see here are mine—Niwamanya Onesmas—and my grandmother. These images carry our story of perseverance, struggle, and hope. For more than a year now, this house project has remained unfinished, standing still not because of lack of will, but because of limited resources. Every day, we live with the weight of an incomplete home that was meant to give us safety and dignity. I humbly reach out to everyone whose heart is touched by our situation—your support, in any form, can truly make a difference. With your help, this long-stuck project can finally be completed and turned into a place we can truly call home.

Dear friends around the world, I humbly reach out to you for support toward completing a house project for my family. This project is about more than just building a house — it is about creating a safe, stable home that empowers families, supports youth, and restores dignity and hope. With your support, we can complete this home and strengthen a foundation where young people can grow, learn, and contribute positively to their community. I kindly invite you to support or share my campaign through the link below. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. Thank you for standing with us and for helping to empower families and youth.
How many new members joining SFN take time to go back and read older questions and answers, and then return to share what they found—for example, I recently revisited a discussion from 2843 days ago, “How can I communicate with angels” (https://spiritualfamily.net/discussion/view/11849/how-can-i-communicate-with-angels
), and I was surprised by how thoughtful and relevant the insights still are today; have you ever explored older discussions like this, how did you find them, and what made them interesting or meaningful to you now?
Dear friends, I would like to share my situation openly and honestly. My family and I are currently living in a temporary house that is in poor and unsafe condition. About a year ago, we started building a permanent house. We sold part of our land and also received donations that helped us greatly to complete the big part of the house that is already standing now. Unfortunately, due to shortage of funds, the construction stopped at the wall-plate level, and for almost a year now no further progress has been made.
Completing the permanent house is a very big project and needs a lot of money, which is not possible for us at the moment. Because of this, our urgent need now is support to help us renovate the temporary house we are currently staying in, so that it can be safe and livable.
I share this message with humility and respect. Any support, in any amount, or even sharing this message, will be deeply appreciated. Thank you to everyone who takes time to read and understand our situation.

This image shows a man being publicly mistreated by his community after reportedly stealing a hen, and while stealing is undeniably wrong, it forces us to question whether such treatment is right or beneficial to the community. Public humiliation and violence may appear to serve as punishment, but in reality they often deepen anger, fear, and division rather than correcting behavior. Is it good for a community to harm one of its own instead of seeking understanding, lawful action, or restorative solutions? What lesson are the children watching learning about justice and humanity? True justice should protect order while preserving human dignity, because when compassion is lost, punishment becomes cruelty and the entire community suffers.
It is heartbreaking to learn that this old man, said to be over 70 years, was found stealing a hen simply because he is homeless and desperate, yet people call him hopeless instead of helping him. He is a retired LDU soldier who once served, and now this is the situation he finds himself in, abandoned and humiliated. This shows how easily society forgets those who grow old and poor, judging them without understanding their pain. I truly wish I had a way to help and uplift him, but life reminds us that God’s plans are unpredictable, and today it is him—tomorrow it could be anyone if compassion is lost.
See how people are mistreating the man who has just lacked what to eat
I received these videos and I wish if I could afford myself I would act as an example to transform the souls of many in our community to show them even us the less privileged we also can…..
With God all things are possible. Often when tragedy like this strike those who suffer think that God has punished them and therefore do not attempt ti use the full powers of mind and body to unite and multiply the capacity to rectify the situation nature has created in their lives. By reminding them that God is love and that his spirit and the spirit of His Son will help them to restore the necessities of living. This divine energy and divine enthusiasm immediately unites the combined potentials of mind and body of each member of the community and slowly restores those things essential to life on this world. With God all things are possible.
156:5.7 Forceful ambition, intelligent judgment, and seasoned wisdom are the essentials of material success. Leadership is dependent on natural ability, discretion, will power, and determination. Spiritual destiny is dependent on faith, love, and devotion to truth -- hunger and thirst for righteousness -- the wholehearted desire to find God and to be like him.
