Why Do We Need to Live the Teachings of the Urantia Book?

Brother Ben, with a gentle smile, is engaged in conversation, while I listen intently. Despite being the local host, I'm surprised to discover that Brother Ben knows Fort Portal better than I do! The photo captures the warmth and friendliness of our initial encounter, setting the tone for a wonderful fellowship.

We had a wonderful fellowship yesterday with our guest, Brother Ben Khart from Kampala, who has been a long-time reader of the Urantia Book. He spent two days with us, and the fellowship lasted for almost five hours. We are grateful for his presence and invite more brothers and sisters like him to share their experiences with us. We hope those who attended the fellowship can testify to the wealth of knowledge and insights they gained from Brother Ben. We look forward to his return for the next sharing session.

Hey everyone, I wanted to share some insights I learned from Paper 142, Section 7 in the Urantia Book on today's meeting on the Urantia Spiritual Brotherhood. Jesus taught us that:

The kingdom of heaven is within us, it's a state of mind and spirit.

We should strive for inner righteousness, seeking God's will and living a life of love and service.

Humility and faith are essential, recognizing our limitations and trusting in divine guidance.

We should love our neighbors and show compassion to those in need.

The kingdom of heaven is a journey of spiritual growth, requiring effort and dedication to attain spiritual maturity.

Let's reflect on these teachings and how we can apply them to our lives and read more on that paper for more understanding ❤️

Wednesday zoom meeting study on the Urantia Spiritual Brotherhood zoom meeting

Yesterday, Wednesday, was a special day for me. I joined the Urantia Spiritual Brotherhood Zoom meeting and we studied Paper 142 in the Urantia Book. As we explored Jesus' teachings in the Sermon on the Mount, I felt my heart and mind expanding. I realized that true happiness and fulfillment come not from wealth or status, but from living a life of love, compassion, and service to others.

I was struck by the simplicity and depth of Jesus' message. He showed us that true religion is about experiencing God's love and sharing it with others, not just following rules or rituals. I felt inspired to let go of my own fears and doubts and embrace the freedom of forgiveness and mercy.

As I reflected on my own life, I saw how often I've gotten caught up in worldly pursuits and forgotten the joy of serving others. But Jesus' words reminded me that we are all equal in the eyes of God and that our true value lies in our love and service to others.

I'm grateful for the Urantia Spiritual Brotherhood community and the insights we shared yesterday. I feel renewed and committed to living a life that reflects Jesus' teachings. Join me on this journey as we explore the Urantia Book and discover the transformative power of love and service.
