31:2.9 “The Lord is near all who call upon him in sincerity and in truth. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. A merry heart does good like a medicine. No good thing will God withhold from those who walk uprightly. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. Thus says the Lord who created the heavens and who formed the earth: ‘There is no God beside me, a just God and a savior. Look to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth. If you seek me, you shall find me if you search for me with all your heart.’ The meek shall inherit the earth and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. Whoever sows iniquity shall reap calamity; they who sow the wind shall reap the whirlwind.y

The Search

Snow’s predicted later on.

Sun comes first, then transition.

We’ll see flurries all around.

But not much sticks upon the ground.

White specs dance before our eyes.

It can be blinding as snow flies.

It melts the water on the ground.

Not as slick as if icebound.

I need a box, complete my mission.

Mankind knows well how to do fission.

Fusion is a different image.

Not yet focused, but envisaged.

As we search to do God’s will,

Truth will show within ourselves.

It matters not how fast we go.

Our direction, though, should show.

Direction towards a Spirit goal

Teaches us a loving role.

Let love define us Spiritually.

Let love become us naturally.

Just a few more cups of love

Mixed within us helps evolve

A nature that abhors all wars.

An evolution of our mores.

Thank You, Father, for this day.

I search for what is best – Your way.

Things work out when we can find

The way towards You– the way Divine!

132:2.5 Goodness is always growing toward new levels of the increasing liberty of moral self-realization and spiritual personality attainment – the discovery of, and identification with, the indwelling Adjuster. An experience is good when it heightens the appreciation of beauty, augments the moral will, enhances the discernment of truth, enlarges the capacity to love and serve one’s fellows, exalts the spiritual ideals, and unifies the supreme human motives of time with the eternal plans of the indwelling Adjuster, all of which lead directly to an increased desire to do the Father’s will, thereby fostering the divine passion to find God and to be more like him.

Beauty Can Lead

The beauty of the day begins.

Beauty starts somewhere within.

Beauty’s in beholders eyes.

First we see and then apprise.

To look for beauty’s the first step.

We often get what we expect.

Have faith your loved, things do work out.

God’s love is there without a doubt!

The best for all His universe.

That is His way, chapter and verse.

To Him, I’m sure, it makes best sense.

Get in His flow, right now, repent!

Improving as one’s life goes on.

Finding ways before we’re gone.

To make good things around you happen.

Life on earth is what we fashion.

We all contribute as we live.

We all give something, yes we give

What can you do, yes, right now?

Are you the one with the knowhow?

Courage to step up and do

The things you truly know how to.

To know yourself and not to freeze.

You can do as you believe!

Thank You, Father, we’ll become

More like You, we’ve just begun.

Every day we do decide.

We become the things we try.

The Spirit never drives, only leads. If you are a willing learner, if you want to attain spirit levels and reach divine heights, if you sincerely desire to reach the eternal goal, then the divine Spirit will gently and lovingly lead you along the pathway of sonship and spiritual progress. Every step you take must be one of willingness, intelligent and cheerful co-operation. The domination of the Spirit is never tainted with coercion nor compromised by compulsion.

Life’s Path

It seems like fall, not wintertime.

The weather is by God’s design.

He controls all things involved.

He helps us see how to evolve.

We’ve learned to tame the wintertime.

With fire and wood, we do design

Structures that are weatherproof.

And through the years we do improve.

Now we use more brick and metal.

We’re all connected via cable.

We know when and where there’s trouble.

We can react then, on the double.

We’ve come so far in how we live,

But can we learn to share and give?

Can we survive without more war?

We need to look within our core!

If we’d all take the time to look,

And read more of our sacred books,

I know we would advance ourselves.

God’s within us, there He dwells.

To learn the Spirit way of things—

Truly joy is what that brings.

Deep inside a Spirit shines.

It tries to show us what’s Divine.

Thank you, Father, deep within.

You know exactly where I’ve been.

i’ll advance within Your Spirit.

It is my goal to truly hear it!

69:5.13 Accumulations of wealth early became the badge of social distinction. Individuals in certain tribes would accumulate property for years just to create an impression by burning it up on some holiday or by freely distributing it to fellow tribesmen. This made them great men. Even modern peoples revel in the lavish distribution of Christmas gifts, while rich men endow great institutions of philanthropy and learning. Man’s technique varies, but his disposition remains quite unchanged.

Christmas Warmth

Fog does rule this morning scene.

Does it conceal our Christmas dreams.

Christmas is around the corner.

The fog will lift as it gets warmer.

Christmas dreams are ‘round the corner.

For Christmas couldn’t be much warmer.

Nearly 60 Christmas Eve.

Dreams come true, if you believe.

Faith is all it really takes.

When you believe, it starts to make

A change within, Faith fills your sails.

You can sail through any gale.

Faith is stronger than belief.

It puts more things within your reach.

Faith gives eyes that once were blind

Enlighten sight that so unbinds.

You can see for miles and miles.

The strength within gives you your smile.

With Faith on board, use all your courage.

With Faith you never are discouraged.

Find a way to help this world.

Help the flag of God unfurl.

Do the next best thing you can.

Make yourself a better man.

Thank You, Father, for Christmas time.

A time for Faith, and ties that bind.

Help us all to be more kind

So, we don’t leave our souls behind.

During the absence of Michael, as recently on the mission of reunion of Orvonton Master Sons on Paradise, Gabriel is the regent of the universe. At such times Gabriel always seeks the counsel of Immanuel of Salvington regarding all major problems.

33:4.6 (370.3) Gabriel is the chief officer of execution for superuniverse mandates relating to nonpersonal affairs in the local universe. Most matters pertaining to mass judgment and dispensational resurrections, adjudicated by the Ancients of Days, are also delegated to Gabriel and his staff for execution. Gabriel is thus the combined chief executive of both the super- and the local universe rulers. He has at his command an able corps of administrative assistants, created for their special work, who are unrevealed to evolutionary mortals. In addition to these assistants, Gabriel may employ any and all of the orders of celestial beings functioning in Nebadon, and he is also the commander in chief of “the armies of heaven” — the celestial hosts.

65:2.1 The story of man’s ascent from seaweed to the lordship of earthly creation is indeed a romance of biologic struggle and mind survival. Man’s primordial ancestors were literally the slime and ooze of the ocean bed in the sluggish and warm-water bays and lagoons of the vast shore lines of the ancient inland seas, those very waters in which the Life Carriers established the three independent life implantations on Urantia.

Cycles

Very cold outside today.

Deceiving as the sun does play.

Its slanted rays don’t have much strength.

The day’s not long, it is condensed.

So, daylight isn’t long today.

With shorter days, long nights display.

The world cools when it’s in shadow.

Where life exists, the range is narrow.

We withstand the cold of winter.

We do better in the summer.

But life on earth continues on.

These life cycles make us strong.

We have adapted to this earth.

Many cycles are adverse.

But we have found best ways to live.

We enjoy the lands You give.

A steady course, I see ahead.

We improve the ways we tread.

We’re always finding better ways.

Adapting to suns weakened rays.

Winters come and winters go.

This weather cycle we well know.

Cold will yield to summer heat.

In summer winter finds defeat

Thank You, Father, for Your plan.

Your Will will reign throughout our land.

The cycles of our planets course

Are ruled by You, our Divine source.

PERSONAL SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE ABOUT GOD

All of us would like to have proof of God.

Many of us are taught ABOUT God, but it is only in the realm of the inner life that we can finally find this proof OF God for ourselves and in ourselves through our own personal spiritual experience with God.

Personal spiritual experience is the cornerstone of the religion of Jesus.

When we step out into the faith adventure with God, relying solely on the leading and authority of our inner pilot (the Thought Adjuster ) we gain valuable experience as to the reality and the presence of God.

We also gain valuable experience as to the love of God and the surety of his guidance.

Further, we gain assurance of our sonship with God, and ever more certain of our survival in eternity.

Said Jesus:

"I have called upon you to be born again, to be born of the spirit.

I have called you out of the darkness of authority and the lethargy of tradition into the transcendent light of the realization of the possibility of making for yourselves the greatest discovery possible for the human soul to make—the supernal experience of finding God for yourself, in yourself, and of yourself, and of doing all this as a fact in your own personal experience.

And so may you pass from death to life, from the authority of tradition to the experience of knowing God;

thus will you pass from darkness to light, from a racial faith inherited to a personal faith achieved by actual experience;

and thereby will you progress from a theology of mind handed down by your ancestors to a true religion of spirit which shall be built up in your souls as an eternal endowment.

"Your religion shall change from the mere intellectual belief in traditional authority to the actual experience of that living faith which is able to grasp the reality of God and all that relates to the divine spirit of the Father.

The religion of the mind ties you hopelessly to the past;

the religion of the spirit consists in progressive revelation and ever beckons you on toward higher and holier achievements in spiritual ideals and eternal realities."

SALVATION AND THE MORAL CONSCIOUSNESS

"The saving or losing of a soul has to do with whether or not the moral consciousness attains survival status through eternal alliance with its associated immortal spirit endowment.

Salvation is the spiritualization of the self-realization of the moral consciousness, which thereby becomes possessed of survival value.

All forms of soul conflict consist in the lack of harmony between the moral, or spiritual, self-consciousness and the purely intellectual self-consciousness." ~ Jesus,

104:4.8 This is the triunity of infinite volition; it acts throughout the eternal present and in all of the past-present-future flow of time. This association yields volitional infinity and provides the mechanisms whereby personal Deity becomes self-revelatory to the creatures of the evolving cosmos.

The Flow of Time

Winter beauty rules today.

This day exists for work and play.

We can mold it in some ways.

The Will of God will be displayed.

To help display the Will of God,

Is wisdom working through my bod.

What I say and how I act

Will help this day become a fact.

As we live each tiny instant,

The past becomes, it is existent.

The flow of time envelops all.

Our ride through time, it never stalls.

We make pathways through times flow.

They’re marked by actions, how we go.

We can’t change what has been done.

Time can never be rerun.

But we can become wise through time.

God’s Will becomes, as It’s Divine.

God’s Will always will come through.

Make it the goal in what you do.

That’s the path all wisdom takes.

To do God’s Will is how we’ll make

The best use of the flow of time.

That’s part of God’s Grand Design.

Thank You, Father, to follow You

Is adventure that comes true.

You try to help us all become

More like You, where time comes from.
