A lighter sleep last night, I note.

But I was rested when I woke.

Always much to do each day.

Choir’s on my list today.

I hope to visit with my friend,

But that may wait till this weekend.

In any case, there will be time

To talk with him, by God’s design.

I will look for Good to do.

I’ll try to make a wish come true.

A day designed to be the best.

I give my thanks, I do feel blessed.

We all receive all that we can.

God gives to all, then does command

The best from each and everyone.

He loves each living, daughter/son.

Always look, to see if you,

Can do better, in what you do.

Be a learner in the Kingdom.

Get in step, and find God’s rhythm.

There is a rhythm on this earth.

The song within is filled with mirth.

God’s plan has been there since your birth.

God wants us all to find Him first.

101:6.8 Revelation teaches mortal man that, to start such a magnificent and intriguing adventure through space by means of the progression of time, he should begin by the organization of knowledge into idea-decisions; next, mandate wisdom to labor unremittingly at its noble task of transforming self-possessed ideas into increasingly practical but nonetheless supernal ideals, even those concepts which are so reasonable as ideas and so logical as ideals that the Adjuster dares so to combine and spiritize them as to render them available for such association in the finite mind as will constitute them the actual human complement thus made ready for the action of the Truth Spirit of the Sons, the time-space manifestations of Paradise truth – universal truth. The co-ordination of idea-decisions, logical ideals, and divine truth constitutes the possession of a righteous character, the prerequisite for mortal admission to the ever-expanding and increasingly spiritual realities of the morontia worlds.

Some can be fixed on the phone,

But some require trips to roam.

We will roam around today.

There are appointments on the way.

Integrate the ways to go.

Try to be within God’s flow.

Will be thought out, I’ll use my head.

Always helps accommodate.

Confidence will mark my path.

No need to rush, I won’t go fast.

109:0.1 THE Thought Adjusters are the children of the universe career, and indeed the virgin Adjusters must gain experience while mortal creatures grow and develop. As the personality of the human child expands for the struggles of evolutionary existence, so does the Adjuster wax great in the rehearsals of the next stage of ascending life. As the child acquires adaptative versatility for his adult activities through the social and play life of early childhood, so does the indwelling Adjuster achieve skill for the next stage of cosmic life by virtue of the preliminary mortal planning and rehearsing of those activities which have to do with the morontia career. Human existence constitutes a period of practice which is effectively utilized by the Adjuster in preparing for the increased responsibilities and the greater opportunities of a future life. But the Adjuster’s efforts, while living within you, are not so much concerned with the affairs of temporal life and planetary existence. Today, the Thought Adjusters are, as it were, rehearsing the realities of the universe career in the evolving minds of human beings.

Planning

The day begins, I did sleep well.

Much to do this day, pray tell.

Destinations, folks to see,

A meeting will become and be.

This will be a busy week.

Appointments every day, do peak,

Interspersed with normal days.

A rhythm that I will display.

Scheduling the days took planning.

My mind was used in their designing.

I know my days, and what’s required.

To integrate what’s new’s desired.

Looking forward to this day.

I’ll learn some things along the way.

The sun is out, the skies aren’t gray.

Working can turn into play.

I anticipate the best

For this day, and nothing less.

With loving kindness, I’ll start out.

I can look for things to do

102:2.3 It is difficult to identify and analyze the factors of a religious experience, but it is not difficult to observe that such religious practitioners live and carry on as if already in the presence of the Eternal. Believers react to this temporal life as if immortality already were within their grasp. In the lives of such mortals there is a valid originality and a spontaneity of expression that forever segregate them from those of their fellows who have imbibed only the wisdom of the world. Religionists seem to live in effective emancipation from harrying haste and the painful stress of the vicissitudes inherent in the temporal currents of time; they exhibit a stabilization of personality and a tranquillity of character not explained by the laws of physiology, psychology, and sociology.

No Need To Leap

An early, early start today.

A busy morning lights my way.

So, with an early start I can,

Fulfill all of my life’s demands.

Goals/demands in life occur.

We try to live, not just endure.

To accomplish things while living,

Gives our lives a truer meaning.

Finding meaning in your life,

Helps to conquer, not just strive.

Meaning gives your life rewards.

We have something we work towards.

Finding what God wills for you,

Gives perspective, called what’s True.

Finding Truth, helps you perceive

More of what you can believe.

By little steps, we do advance.

We’re learning how to do life’s dance.

More and more, we come to show,

The Love of God in how we flow.

An equanimity of mind

With God’s Spirit’s what we find.

A way of living that defines

The Love that is of God’s design.

144:6.3 Andrew and Abner alternated in presiding over these joint meetings of the two apostolic groups. These men had many difficulties to discuss and numerous problems to solve. Again and again would they take their troubles to Jesus, only to hear him say: “I am concerned only with your personal and purely religious problems. I am the representative of the Father to the individual, not to the group. If you are in personal difficulty in your relations with God, come to me, and I will hear you and counsel you in the solution of your problem. But when you enter upon the co-ordination of divergent human interpretations of religious questions and upon the socialization of religion, you are destined to solve all such problems by your own decisions. Albeit, I am ever sympathetic and always interested, and when you arrive at your conclusions touching these matters of nonspiritual import, provided you are all agreed, then I pledge in advance my full approval and hearty co-operation. And now, in order to leave you unhampered in your deliberations, I am leaving you for two weeks. Be not anxious about me, for I will return to you. I will be about my Father’s business, for we have other realms besides this one.”

Zoom meetings take up time today.

Outside, it’s raining, anyway.

I hope we have productive talks,

And our discussions help our flocks.

We represent the will of others,

And they are all our sisters/brothers.

We want what’s best for all concerned—

A process which we all will learn.

We will try to be involved,

So that issues get resolved.

If everybody wants what’s best,

Good ideas should pass this test.

Listening skills need be invoked,

And then with minds, we do devote,

Our energies in harmony.

Solutions then come, probably.

Sometimes a search is necessary.

There’re more questions we need query.

Time’s involved, to comprehend

All the details that impend.

Truth, fact, and relationship are intellectually inseparable and associated with the philosophic concepts of beauty. Goodness, righteousness, and justice are philosophically interrelated and spiritually bound up together with living truth and divine beauty.

Rhythm and Time

The day, for me, begins again.

Work and play I need to blend.

A cloudy, cooler, rainy day.

Spring’s been cold for outside play.

In any case there’s things to do

And always God surprises you.

Adapting to what time presents

Is a skill, self maintenance.

No matter what time throws at you,

Things must be done on schedule too.

Timing with the Spirit’s rhythm

Helps in all aspects of livin’.

A time for this, a time for that.

Experience helps; God has your back.

Just always try to do your best

Then let God take care of the rest.

Surprise is always ‘round the corner.

The days will soon start to be warmer.

Soon the time for planting’s over.

Then we must dig weeds from clover.

We want to help our seedlings grow

They need the help of our good hoe.

We hoe the weeds and break the soil

So seedlings thrive, it’s worth the toil.

99:3.8&9&10&11 There is always the great danger that religion will become distorted and perverted into the pursuit of false goals, as when in times of war each contending nation prostitutes its religion into military propaganda. Loveless zeal is always harmful to religion, while persecution diverts the activities of religion into the achievement of some sociologic or theologic drive.

Religion can be kept free from unholy secular alliances only by:

1. A critically corrective philosophy.

2. Freedom from all social, economic, and political alliances.

3. Creative, comforting, and love-expanding fellowships.

4. Progressive enhancement of spiritual insight and the appreciation of cosmic values.

5. Prevention of fanaticism by the compensations of the scientific mental attitude.

Religionists, as a group, must never concern themselves with anything but religion,albeit any one such religionist, as an individual citizen, may become the outstanding leader of some social, economic, or political reconstruction movement.

It is the business of religion to create, sustain, and inspire such a cosmic loyalty in the individual citizen as will direct him to the achievement of success in the advancement of all these difficult but desirable social services.

Planting

Maintenance takes center stage.

A rhythm that must stay in phase.

Weekly tasks, so things stay clean,

Are mixed then with our yearly dreams.

Outside work, that has been planned,

Awaits some weather that is grand.

But even if the rain arrives,

Work within garages thrives.

We can plant in pots, inside.

And from the rain, I can just hide.

When rain abates, the pots are placed.

We can achieve, but not with haste.

Bulbs and seeds in pots, are planted

And they are placed to give advantage

To new seedlings that arrive.

The rain today will help them thrive.

Now the work outside is done.

The seeds now just need lots of sun.

Tender care while they are young

Will help them grow and make them strong.

Just like people when they’re born,

Environments will help them form

And be the best that they can be.

Developed from potentially.

Garden plantings have begun.

Tender shoots will spring to life.

The warmer temps help turn them ripe.

2:6.8 God loves the sinner and hates the sin: such a statement is true philosophically, but God is a transcendent personality, and persons can only love and hate other persons. Sin is not a person. God loves the sinner because he is a personality reality (potentially eternal), while towards sin God strikes no personal attitude, for sin is not a spiritual reality; it is not personal; therefore does only the justice of God take cognizance of its existence. The love of God saves the sinner; the law of God destroys the sin. This attitude of the divine nature would apparently change if the sinner finally identified himself wholly with sin just as the same mortal mind may also fully identify itself with the indwelling spirit Adjuster. Such a sin-identified mortal would then become wholly unspiritual in nature (and therefore personally unreal) and would experience eventual extinction of being. Unreality, even incompleteness of creature nature, cannot exist forever in a progressingly real and increasingly spiritual universe.

Twill Be

Good morning, Lord, I wonder what

This day will hold before it’s shot.

I will do the best I can

To spread more Love throughout Your land.

Can we govern ourselves or not?

Hold together through all the rot?

Will wisdom win political games

Or power and money, drive us insane?

We all must look into our hearts

Then use our minds, and do our parts.

Trust the Love of God to show

The way that’s best for us to go.

Be ready to react to change.

We must adapt when times seem strange.

The Plan of God will manifest.

To Trust in Love’s the path that’s best!

Things will go as best they can.

Love Will spread throughout our land.

Times involved; it’s made of sand.

This sand flows in every man.

Patience, patience, time won’t rest.

It goes on, so do your best.

We will decide upon our course.

Will we be kind, and not use force?

176:2.6 “And now concerning the travail of Jerusalem, about which I have spoken to you, even this generation will not pass away until my words are fulfilled; but concerning the times of the coming again of the Son of Man, no one in heaven or on earth may presume to speak. But you should be wise regarding the ripening of an age; you should be alert to discern the signs of the times. You know when the fig tree shows its tender branches and puts forth its leaves that summer is near. Likewise, when the world has passed through the long winter of material-mindedness and you discern the coming of the spiritual springtime of a new dispensation, should you know that the summertime of a new visitation draws near.

Springtime

March weather’s truly up and down.

These days of beauty are profound.

Warmer days and then it rains.

If snow should come, it would seem strange.

Today, a rainy day’s, forecast.

The rain will come, it’s going to last.

Rain, then sun, is how it is.

When there’s wind, it blows, gee whiz.

Windy days bring us new systems.

God‘s in charge, it is His Kingdom.

New systems bring us weather change.

Our winter season is exchanged.

Renewal of the growing season,

Brings hope to life, our hope is legion.

Relentless warmer weather comes.

Green is coming to our thumbs.

Bulbs we planted in the fall,

Are growing now, they hear life’s call.

The plan of God will help them grow.

He has a plan, help “make it so.”

Get on board with what’s to come.

The Love of God will make us one!

Patience with the time involved,

Helps us all to be evolved.

101:6.8 The teachings of Jesus constituted the first Urantian religion which so fully embraced a harmonious co-ordination of knowledge, wisdom, faith, truth, and love as completely and simultaneously to provide temporal tranquillity, intellectual certainty, moral enlightenment, philosophic stability, ethical sensitivity, God-consciousness, and the positive assurance of personal survival. The faith of Jesus pointed the way to finality of human salvation, to the ultimate of mortal universe attainment, since it provided for:

1. Salvation from material fetters in the personal realization of sonship with God, who is spirit.

2. Salvation from intellectual bondage: man shall know the truth, and the truth shall set him free.

3. Salvation from spiritual blindness, the human realization of the fraternity of mortal beings and the morontian awareness of the brotherhood of all universe creatures; the service-discovery of spiritual reality and the ministry-revelation of the goodness of spirit values.

4. Salvation from incompleteness of self through the attainment of the spirit levels of the universe and through the eventual realization of the harmony of Havona and the perfection of Paradise.

5. Salvation from self, deliverance from the limitations of self-consciousness through the attainment of the cosmic levels of the Supreme Mind and by co-ordination with the attainments of all other self-conscious beings.

6. Salvation from time, the achievement of an eternal life of unending progression in God-recognition and God-service.

7. Salvation from the finite, the perfected oneness with Deity in and through the Supreme by which the creature attempts the transcendental discovery of the Ultimate on the postfinaliter levels of the absonite.

Love’s Direction

Lots to do this early morn.

Many years, since I’ve been born.

Which means, I’m getting older now.

With Doctor pills, I am endowed.

Finger pricks do start my day.

And then my body, I do weigh.

Morning rituals to keep track

Of how I age, so many facts

Later on today, there’s more.

I see some docs who treat my core.

They want to see my many facts.

They try to keep my core intact.

This evening will be with my friends.

With study group, the day will end.

Lots of travel in between

All these events, it truly seems.

I need to keep on track with time

And keep all these events in line.

Schedule for the day becomes

Real, as this day goes on.

The now is where we all experience

What we do in this existence.

Can we be more self-aware?

I know that Love will take me there.
