Spiritual Leadership
What a mistake for Christians to make when, in presenting Christ as the supreme ideal of spiritual leadership, they dare to require God-conscious men and women to reject the historic leadership of the God-knowing men who have contributed to their particular national or racial illumination during past ages. 99:5.11
The Divinely Real
Truth is beautiful because it is both replete and symmetrical. When man searches for truth, he pursues the divinely real. 2:7.4
Abide Forever
"Every earth child who follows the leading of this spirit shall eventually know the will of God, and he who surrenders to the will of my Father shall abide forever." Jesus, 146:3.7
Lighten Your Burdens
"Lighten your burdens of soul by speedily acquiring a long-distance view of your destiny, a universe expansion of your career." Jesus,156:5.8
Faith
"…faith will expand the mind, ennoble the soul, reinforce the personality, augment the happiness, deepen the spirit perception, and enhance the power to love and be loved." Jesus, 159:3.12
How did Jesus act?
There was so little of the professional, the well-planned, or the premeditated in the Master's earthly ministry. He dispensed health and scattered happiness naturally and gracefully as he journeyed through life. It was literally true, "He went about doing good." 171:7.9
Universe Frames for thought
Conceptual frames of the universe are only relatively true; they are serviceable scaffolding which must eventually give way before the expansions of enlarging cosmic comprehension. The understandings of truth, beauty, and goodness, morality, ethics, duty, love, divinity, origin, existence, purpose, destiny, time, space, even Deity, are only relatively true. God is much, much more than a Father, but the Father is man’s highest concept of God; 111:4.3
