MISSION
Love: It’s possible for you to live a life of love where you love yourself, others, and God. LOVE IS THE DESIRE TO DO GOOD TO OTHERS: bringing salvation, healing, deliverance, enlightenment, and spiritual growth to hearts, minds, and souls, worldwide.
1. To create initiatives aimed at empowering individuals with the spiritual and ethical insights from the Urantia Book.
2. To develop channels of sharing the teachings of the Urantia Book (UB) with a wider audience for shared learning, workshops, lectures, and educational events.
3. To engage in charitable activities and humanitarian projects inspired by the book’s teachings, contributing to the well-being of communities in need.
SUGGESTIONS FOR FELLOWSHIP MEETINGS:
1. Allow for a period of questions, comments and/or contributions after the sermon or message has been delivered.
2. Allow for people to share testimonies.
3. Start and end each meeting with a prayer by two different people.
4. Allow for music - songs of praise and worship to the Father.
5. Encourage attendees to speak their minds freely. Different opinions may be expressed, but it should be done in love and respect.
A LIST OF FACTORS TO CONSIDER WHEN STARTING UP OUR CELL GROUP:
1. Study Material Distribution: Plan how study materials, such as copies of the URANTIA book or relevant supplementary materials, will be distributed among members.
2. Leadership Team: Establish a leadership team to coordinate and facilitate group activities. Ensure a diverse team that brings different perspectives and strengths to the group.
3. Meeting Schedule: Determine a regular meeting schedule that accommodates the availability of the majority of the group members. Consistency is key for fostering engagement.
4. Location: Choose a suitable location for meetings. This could be in-person at a community center, someone's home, or virtually through online platforms.
5. Communication Channels: Establish effective communication channels for the group, whether it's through email, messaging apps, or a dedicated online platform.
6. Code of Conduct: Define a code of conduct or group guidelines to ensure a respectful and inclusive environment for all members.
7. Facilitation Skills: Ensure that facilitators possess effective communication and facilitation skills to lead discussions and keep the group focused.
8. Adaptability: Be open to adapting the group structure based on member feedback and evolving needs. Flexibility is essential for the group's long-term success.
9. Promotion and Recruitment: Develop strategies for promoting the ministry and bringing in new members, considering both online and offline avenues.
10. Evaluation and Feedback: Establish mechanisms for regular evaluation and feedback to continually improve the group dynamics and meeting formats.
Let God lead!
