Today as l was reading the urantia book. I found these wonderful words l wanted to share with you.
      JESUS THE MAN. PAPER 196.
To follow Jesus means to personally share his religious faith and enter into the spirit of the master's life of unselfish service for man. One of the most important in human living is to find out what Jesus believed to, discover his ideals and strive for the achievements of his exalted life purpose of all human knowledge that which is of great value is to know the religious life of Jesus and how he lived.

It shouldn't be the aim of kingdom believers literally to imitate the outward life of Jesus in the flesh but rather to share his faith, to trust God as he trusted God

Let me share with you this on this beautiful Sunday
        Urantia 196:0.11
In the earthly life of Jesus religion was direct experience and personal movement from spiritual reverence to practical righteousness.. the faith of Jesus bore transcendent fruits of divine spirit his faith wasn't immature and credulous like that of a child but in many ways it did resemble the unsuspecting mind of the child Jesus trusted God as a child trusts a parent he had profound confidence in the universe just like the trust the child has in it's parental environment...jesus' whole hearted faith in fundamental goodness of the universe very much resembled the child's trust in the earthly security of the surroundings he depended heavenly on the father as the child leans on it's parent and his fervent faith never at a moment doubted the heavenly father's overcare he wasn't Disturbed seriously by fears, doubts. Unbelief didn't inhibit the free and original expression of his life he combined the stalwart and the intelligent courage of a full grown man sincere and optimism of a believing child his faith grew to such heights of trust that was devoid of fear
Happy Sunday to you all my SFN family and my study group members

              Urantia 39:4:14
There's no material reward for the righteous living but there's profound satisfaction, consciousness of achievement and this transcends any conceivable material reward

Hi Osbert, and this profound satisfaction of achievement was a part of Jesus entire journey on Urantia. Even in the most common place acts of kindness. Now are all those entering the work experiencing this reality.

132:6.1 Here in Rome also occurred that touching incident in which the Creator of a universe spent several hours restoring a lost child to his anxious mother. This little boy had wandered away from his home, and Jesus found him crying in distress. He and Ganid were on their way to the libraries, but they devoted themselves to getting the child back home. Ganid never forgot Jesus' comment: "You know, Ganid, most human beings are like the lost child. They spend much of their time crying in fear and suffering in sorrow when, in very truth, they are but a short distance from safety and security, even as this child was only a little way from home. And all those who know the way of truth and enjoy the assurance of knowing God should esteem it a privilege, not a duty, to offer guidance to their fellows in their efforts to find the satisfactions of living. Did we not supremely enjoy this ministry of restoring the child to his mother? So do those who lead men to God experience the supreme satisfaction of human service." And from that day forward, for the remainder of his natural life, Ganid was continually on the lookout for lost children whom he might restore to their homes.
