Our world was gifted 5 times by epochal (wholly, divinely mandated and inspired) Revelations. You know about THIS one, the Urantia Book, which is the 5th time the Father had decided to intervene in the affairs of men to straighten us on our path towards him. The 4th one, before this, was the life and teachings of Jesus of NAZARETH, brought anew to us in its freshness with ALL of what we need to know about his earth life here in the UB...thank you, Father!!!
The 3rd revelation was almost 2000 years before the arrival of Michael as Jesus of Nazareth and appeared as Machiventa Melchizedek 1,973 before Jesus a full adult male, one of the first children of our Creator Father Michael, so...a REALLY GOOD GUY! :-) He just showed up one day in a tent of a Chaldean herder of Sumerian background:
"And the proclamation of his mission was embodied in the simple statement which he made to this shepherd, “I am Melchizedek, priest of El Elyon, the Most High, the one and only God.”
You can see how this "Man of God" presented himself to the people at that time. He was known as the Sage of Salem, where he taught Abraham, and you all know of Abraham ( who was never asked by God to sacrifice his son, Isaac, although it was practiced in those days by the more primitive people to try to appeal to God's favour).
The most important thing about Melchizedek to remember, is that first, he came to save and preserve the Light of Truth of the ONE God on this world in preparation for Michael’s last bestowal/arrival; but more importantly!was the Great Urantian covenant he made with Abraham - read this carefully and BELIEVE it:
"This covenant of Melchizedek with Abraham represents the great Urantian agreement between divinity and humanity whereby God agrees to do EVERYTHING; man only agrees to BELIEVE God’s promises and FOLLOW his INSTRUCTIONS."
He went into a tent after 94 years here on earth working for Michael and us and was taken back by his fellow beings, not to be seen again here...
It is interesting to know, however! That because we were left without a GOOD ruling Planetary Prince who rebelled with Lucifer and Satan way back, and that since Jesus/Michael is busy with Universe affairs, he, Machiventa Melchizedek, was chosen by Michael (to whom Father gave the title as Planetary Prince) is ruling as the vicegerent of this world...meaning Second-in-Command here...we are in good hands, as always!
