GREAT question! Michael, who was going to be born as a helpless baby in order to become the spiritual teacher we needed here on Urantia/ earth, sent out a search mission to find the best humans to be his parents. God, the Father, while he is all-knowing does not know what is evil, as evil is NOT part of his nature...only Infinite Love is.
And as you read the ancestral history of both Mary and Joseph you will see how Jesus actually portrayed each parent as he grew up!
