Emergency Fund
Hello Everyone,
My name is Donna. I have a group on Facebook called MJ Fanmily. I have been on Facebook since late 2010 and, with the help of many Michael Jackson fans, have donated to "Feed My Starving Children" at fmsc.org since 2011. We have also helped a couple of other people who are trying to help children. One is from Ghana, and the other in Uganda.
Then Wantanda Ronald and I met and became connected on Facebook. This young man has touched my heart, and so have his widows and children, so I decided that I need to help him as well as feed my starving children.
I have opened a PayPal account and a bank account specifically for emergency purposes for these beautiful children. This will enable us to get funds to Wantanda within hours of an immediate need once it arises. These immediate needs are such as if a child becomes sick or is injured, or an immediate need of food. I came up with the idea of the Emergency Fund when one of our orphans, Fred, fell down a well and hurt his arm. He cried out in pain and had to be treated by the doctor, but no funds were immediately available. Luckily, several donors stepped up and we were able to raise the money quickly. However, now we can be prepared in advance for when situations like this may arise.
You can donate on PayPal for friends and family with no charge, and I will immediately send it to Wantanda. There are three ways to send it through PayPal:
