Youth Urantia Scholars
**About Me: Kato Pare Patrick**
My name is **Kato Pare Patrick**, a 21-year-old from Ibanda District in western Uganda, a humble and underdeveloped region. Despite the challenges of growing up in a rural area, I have always believed that my circumstances should not define my future.
I lost my father in 2005 and my mother in 2018, becoming an orphan at 15. Life was extremely difficult, but I held onto hope. My life took a transformative turn in 2018 when I met Paul and Monica Kemp, who introduced me to *The Urantia Book*. This divine revelation reshaped my understanding of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ, giving me hope and purpose.
As I studied *The Urantia Book*, I not only grew spiritually but also improved my English language skills, as it became a guide and a "dictionary" for me. This journey inspired me to share the transformative teachings with others, especially young people facing struggles similar to mine.

The Youth Urantia Scholars Ministry
In 2021, I founded the **Youth Urantia Scholars Ministry** to bring the teachings of *The Urantia Book* to young people in my community and beyond. This group is a fellowship of youth dedicated to spiritual growth, personal transformation, and mutual support.
We focus on reaching out to young people who are struggling with hopelessness, addiction (drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes), homelessness, poverty, or the loss of loved ones. Through study sessions, fellowship events, and mentorship, we help them discover their true potential and inspire them to lead lives of purpose and service.
Our Vision
To build a spiritually enlightened generation of youth who embody the teachings of Jesus Christ and positively transform their communities through love, service, and hope.
Our Mission
To share the profound teachings of *The Urantia Book* with struggling youth, equipping them with spiritual tools and practical support to overcome challenges and live meaningful, purposeful lives.
Our Purpose
- To inspire faith and hope in young people by connecting the teachings of *The Urantia Book* and the Bible to their everyday struggles.
- To provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support to those battling addiction, poverty, or hopelessness.
- To create a nurturing environment where youth can heal, grow, and find a sense of belonging and purpose.
A Message to My Fellow Youth
To my fellow youth, I want you to know that you are not alone. If you are struggling with addiction, hopelessness, or the weight of life’s challenges, there is hope. At Youth Urantia Scholars we offer a place where you can find support, guidance, and a renewed sense of purpose. The teachings of Jesus Christ and The Urantia Book can help you overcome even the darkest times and lead you to a brighter, more meaningful future.
We welcome you to join us and embark on this journey of transformation.
How Donors Can Support Our Mission
The Youth Urantia Scholars Ministry is growing, but we face challenges in reaching more youth and expanding our impact. Your support can help us achieve the following goals:
1. **Expand Our Reach:**
- Provide copies of *The Urantia Book* to new members.
- Acquire essential resources like laptops, printers, and phones to access global teaching materials and create study guides.
2. **Create Fellowship Opportunities:**
- Organize seminars, weekend gatherings, and study sessions to build a sense of community among youth.
- Provide food and tents for events, as we follow Jesus' example of feeding those who came to hear him teach.
3. **Empower Youth Leadership:**
- Train and mentor youth leaders to spread this mission in their own communities.
A Call to Action
Your support is crucial in helping us transform lives. By joining hands with us, you can bring hope and light to youth who are struggling in darkness. Together, we can empower them to rise above addiction, despair, and hardship, and inspire them to live meaningful lives of service and faith.
We also encourage other young people from across the world who share similar goals to connect with us. Together, we can create a global community of spiritually empowered youth.
Thank you for taking the time to hear our story and for considering supporting this vital mission. May blessings and love guide your path always.
Sincerely,
Kato Pare Patrick
Founder, Youth Urantia Scholars Ministry.
Religion does need new leaders, spiritual men and women who will dare to depend solely on Jesus and his incomparable teachings.
Idealists and spiritists dare to use their oars with intelligence and vigor in order to modify the apparently purely material course of the energy streams.
The spiritual renaissance must await the coming of these new teachers of Jesus' religion who will be exclusively devoted to the spiritual regeneration of men and women. And then will these spirit-born souls quickly supply the leadership and inspiration requisite for the social, moral, economic, and political reorganization of the world.
