140:8.17 Jesus frequently warned his listeners against covetousness, declaring that “a man’s happiness consists not in the abundance of his material possessions.” He constantly reiterated, “What shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul?” He made no direct attack on the possession of property, but he did insist that it is eternally essential that spiritual values come first. In his later teachings he sought to correct many erroneous Urantia views of life by narrating numerous parables which he presented in the course of his public ministry. Jesus never intended to formulate economic theories; he well knew that each age must evolve its own remedies for existing troubles. And if Jesus were on earth today, living his life in the flesh, he would be a great disappointment to the majority of good men and women for the simple reason that he would not take sides in present-day political, social, or economic disputes. He would remain grandly aloof while teaching you how to perfect your inner spiritual life so as to render you manyfold more competent to attack the solution of your purely human problems.

Everyday

Mornings are the best for me,

And this Spring day will truly be,

The best that I can really see.

God is my reality!

God‘s the source of time and such.

He lets us choose how we eat lunch.

If we choose the Good in life,

We learn how best to live through strife.

Progress through the times we live.

We learn to be kind, and to give.

The lessons that we learn in living,

Help us be much more forgiving.

God has a plan for each of us.

We learn more quickly, as we Trust.

We learn that God is truly Love.

We see his Love, as we evolve.

To be awakened in God‘s world,

At first unsure, we may feel swirled.

But if we trust in Love, we find,

A direction termed Divine.

Divine direction helps progress.

If we ignore things, we regress.

Eventually, Life teaches us,

To Trust God’s Love, is just a must!

Thank You, Mother/Father/Son.

Something new on Earth’s begun.

Increased awareness of Your Love.

People on this Earth evolve.

Love our God, in every way.

Holidays can come and go.

That’s the rhythm of time’s flow.

Look for Goodness on your route,

And look for ways to spread it out.

Be aware of what you do.

Kindness helps your Good be True.

Being kind’s, a skill that’s learned,

Becomes a habit that is earned.

Habits either help or hinder.

Good ones help you spread your thunder.

Wisdom helps you choose your actions.

Good habits form, make Good reactions.

That’s the road towards getting better.

You’re becoming a goal setter.

Wisdom helps you set your goals.

Goodness help you see your role.

Program Report & Donor Appreciation – April 2025

Beacons of Hope Foundation is a team of five passionate individuals committed to supporting vulnerable people in our communities. Our mission is:

> "To support vulnerable individuals, including orphans and those in need, by providing access to education, healthcare, and essential resources. Our mission is to empower lives, foster hope, and create lasting positive change in communities through compassionate support and sustainable initiatives."

Our First Outreach

With an initial collection of $100, we purchased basic household necessities—such as soap, sugar, wheat, and eggs—and supported a struggling family of three. The mother, Mama Iryn, and her daughter Iryn were especially in need. Iryn had stopped attending school after her father passed away due to lack of support.

Thanks to the love and generosity of Brother Pato Baton, who donated $450, we were able to take further steps:

$300 was used to pay full school fees for Iryn for one year, along with school uniforms and materials.

The remaining $150 was used to:

Provide startup capital to Mama Iryn for small-scale business.

Lease land for her to cultivate crops, funded partially by our foundation’s own contributions.

We are deeply grateful to Brother Pato for his compassion and trust. Because of his support, Iryn is back in school, and her family is rebuilding their future.

Upcoming Outreach – Ruyonza Village, Ibanda

Our next planned outreach will be a community empowerment event in Ruyonza, scheduled on 25th May 2025....a remote village in Ibanda District.

*Our goals*

Teach self-reliance using available local resources.

Raise awareness about the importance of education.

Promote peaceful family living to reduce domestic violence and incarceration.

Share the uplifting teachings of Jesus from the Urantia Book.

We also plan to distribute:

1:Books and pens for children

2:Pads and soap for women

3:Hand hoes and pangas for men

After training and mobilizing the community to cultivate their land, we plan to supply:

Maize and bean seeds

Fertilizers like DAP for improved yield

*To make this outreach successful, we are in need of donor support. Funds will be used for*

Agricultural tools and inputs

Educational materials

Sanitary and health supplies

Every contribution counts and will be directly used to transform lives and empower this community.

6:3.5 God is love, the Son is mercy. Mercy is applied love, the Father’s love in action in the person of his Eternal Son. The love of this universal Son is likewise universal. As love is comprehended on a sex planet, the love of God is more comparable to the love of a father, while the love of the Eternal Son is more like the affection of a mother. Crude, indeed, are such illustrations, but I employ them in the hope of conveying to the human mind the thought that there is a difference, not in divine content but in quality and technique of expression, between the love of the Father and the love of the Son.

Mothers

An early start to Mother’s Day.

I hope all mothers get to play.

We commemorate in ways,

And all our mothers, we do praise.

Everybody’s had a mother,

Every sister, every brother.

Our first response to living life.

We try to do what we deem right.

Mothers help us all to see,

How things work, to get our needs.

Habits formed in infancy,

Can last for years, incredibly.

As we grow, we do reflect

The love we got, by self-respect.

As we respect ourselves, we do

Give respect to others, too.

We learned this through the years we grew.

Mothers helped in what we do.

Self respect is something earned.

Best decisions, as we learn.

Mother’s Love seems mercy driven.

Mistakes we made, she has forgiven.

This gives us time to learn life’s lessons.

She will hear our worst confessions.

Mercy’s needed in this life.
