136:2.4 When Jesus of Nazareth went down into the Jordan to be baptized, he was a mortal of the realm who had attained the pinnacle of human evolutionary ascension in all matters related to the conquest of mind and to self-identification with the spirit. He stood in the Jordan that day a perfected mortal of the evolutionary worlds of time and space. Perfect synchrony and full communication had become established between the mortal mind of Jesus and the indwelling spirit Adjuster, the divine gift of his Father in Paradise. And just such an Adjuster indwells all normal beings living on Urantia since the ascension of Michael to the headship of his universe, except that Jesus’ Adjuster had been previously prepared for this special mission by similarly indwelling another superhuman incarnated in the likeness of mortal flesh, Machiventa Melchizedek.

      NOW

      Summer starts tonight at nine

There may be storms before that time.

But we will sing through any storm.

Springtime storms are just the norm.

The day is young, it’s yet to be.

      It will progress incrementally.

The now progresses on its own.

Are we aware of what is shown?

So you’re aware, but do you care?

      Are you affected anywhere?

Can there be a better Good?

Do those things you know you should!

      Attitude makes all the difference.

Look for Good, look for resplendence!

Imagine what can be the best

      Then expect it, nothing less!

Improvement, that’s all we need do.

Progress on the Trail of Truth.

We can ride, or push, or drive.

We have our parts, we all derive.

Do your part the best you can.

When you’re stuck, ask for God’s Hand.

If your goals align with God’s

The sight inside you will enlarge.

Thank You, Father, it’s nice to be

Aware of Love, and how things will be.

But till then, we must expect

      That progress made is circumspect.
