12:7.7 The will of God does not uniformly prevail in the heart of the God-seeking material mortal, but if the time frame is enlarged beyond the moment to embrace the whole of the first life, then does God’s will become increasingly discernible in the spirit fruits which are borne in the lives of the spirit-led children of God. And then, if human life is further enlarged to include the morontia experience, the divine will is observed to shine brighter and brighter in the spiritualizing acts of those creatures of time who have begun to taste the divine delights of experiencing the relationship of the personality of man with the personality of the Universal Father.

Wave the Flag
Much to do on this fine day.
I’ll cope with all that comes my way.
Various areas are portrayed
In the landscape where I play.

Beset with soreness in my bones,
A snotty nose I must bemoan.
A scratchy throat I will resist.
To gargle more I will persist.

Do the things that help you out.
Then help another, give them clout.
Try to be the most ideal
Person who can think and feel.

Don’t just play upon emotion.
Show your love has deep devotion.
Give your all to how you live.
Then try to do your best to give.

Look inside and gather courage.
Sincerely look so there’s no shortage.
Honor truth, and look for love.
God will help you to evolve.

Time it takes to make improvements.
You must access your current movements.
Look for how you could be better.
Do your best, a real go-getter.

Thank You, Father, for all things.

1:4.5 The divine mystery consists in the inherent difference which exists between the finite and the infinite, the temporal and the eternal, the time-space creature and the Universal Creator, the material and the spiritual, the imperfection of man and the perfection of Paradise Deity. The God of universal love unfailingly manifests himself to every one of his creatures up to the fullness of that creature’s capacity to spiritually grasp the qualities of divine truth, beauty, and goodness.

God’s Love
Autumn warmth is here today.
Nearly 80 for this day.
It won’t last, as Winter’s coming.
Halloween will give us warning.

Supposed to freeze by Halloween.
The freeze stops things from turning green.
Winter renews things that it kills.
When Spring comes ‘round, new growth gives thrills.

Cycles are the Will of God.
He knows best, His Love I laud.
His Love He gives to all of us.
Inside His Love we learn to trust.

God has Love for all His things,
He Loves the parts of everything.
He’s always there for those that look.
Take the time to read The Book.

God decides and then it is!
Reality upholdment is His biz.
His Love works out the best for all.
Look inside and hear His call.

Don’t question when things look so wrong.
God knows what is going on!
He has a purpose, Love will win.
Eternity is the game He’s in.

70:3.4&5 The peace of Urantia will be promoted far more by international trade organizations than by all the sentimental sophistry of visionary peace planning. Trade relations have been facilitated by development of language and by improved methods of communication as well as by better transportation.
The absence of a common language has always impeded the growth of peace groups, but money has become the universal language of modern trade. Modern society is largely held together by the industrial market. The gain motive is a mighty civilizer when augmented by the desire to serve.

Peace for Now
There’s beauty here with autumn days.
Leaves are turning, colors blaze.
Pumpkins trim our autumn scenes.
Our autumn bounty shows our dreams

Halloween’s around the corner.
Witches brewing with much ardor.
They’ll be handing candy out.
Our children gasp with glee, then shout.

A happy time be had by all.
Children heed the candy call.
Costumes rule the social scene.
And we enact what’er we dream.

Acting out our dreams for real.
We do our best, the children squeal.
We want what’s best for every soul.
Peace on earth is just one goal.

Peace, and also what is best.
Peace, but filled with Holiness.
Love and Faith and Truth and Goodness
To find perfection, use Forgiveness.

These are goals within themselves.
A search for each, our fears dispelled.
As we walk along that road,
Peace within is our abode.

Thank You, Father, Peace exists.
On Peace within we must subsist.
Someday our world will know with pride,
The Peace for now that’s just inside.

70:2.10 At one time physicians believed in bloodletting as a cure for many diseases, but they have since discovered better remedies for most of these disorders. And so must the international bloodletting of war certainly give place to the discovery of better methods for curing the ills of nations.

Our Best
A sunny day’s forecast today,
But cooler air is going to stay.
The forecast calls for 58.
You’ll need a coat when out the gate.

War more war is in the news.
Another war, both sides will lose.
No one wins when children die.
We send our kids into wars’ eye.

We send our best to help protect.
Aggression’s never circumspect.
Our best against the others best.
And most are killed before we rest.

So who wins when best are gone?
How does anger last so long?
Leaders who want war must be
Stopped where there’s democracy.

This world’s about to blow its top.
War begets and doesn’t stop.
Immature means bellicose!
It’s something in a warrior’s voice.

We all could live under one roof.
But fights for power have deep roots.
Strong man rule must use its force.
It won’t stand when love’s on course.

Help us Father, to achieve
A lasting peace where all believe.
We need Your Love in leaders’ hearts.
We must elect, so wars don’t start.

0:13.3 We are fully cognizant of the difficulties of our assignment; we recognize the impossibility of fully translating the language of the concepts of divinity and eternity into the symbols of the language of the finite concepts of the mortal mind. But we know that there dwells within the human mind a fragment of God, and that there sojourns with the human soul the Spirit of Truth; and we further know that these spiritforces conspire to enable material man to grasp the reality of spiritual values and to comprehend the philosophy of universe meanings. But even more certainly we know that these spirits of the Divine Presence are able to assist man in the spiritual appropriation of all truth contributory to the enhancement of the ever-progressing reality of personal religious experience – God-consciousness.

Hear Within (God consciousness)
Now the cooler air is here.
The freeze will come, I’m sure it’s near.
But for the next 10 days or so
The freeze will not impede green growth.

In general, we see more warmth
And more intensity with storms.
Longer growing seasons – North.
Warmer weather is the source.

Does this warmer weather warm
Our hearts and minds when we have storms?
This world evolves, it changes much.
Can we evolve and feel God’s touch?

We all are people on this earth.
It is the planet of our birth.
To go on, we must adapt
And look within before we act.

So simple, yet most do not know.
They believe God is a show.
Faith in God unlocks the Spirit.
Behavior changes once you hear it.

If you don’t do nothin’ else,
Look inside for Spirit wealth.
Wake your mind up, hear the Truth.
Live by it and get your proof.

As life evolves upon this sphere
Too many of us live with fear.
God exists inside for all!
No special groups to hear His call.

Thank You, Father, Your plan evolves.
It’s deep inside for all to solve.
Love unlocks, Faith spreads our wings.
Then You show us everything.

Jesus taught!

Jesus taught that the prayer for divine guidance over the pathway of earthly life was next in importance to the petition for a knowledge of the Father’s will. In reality this means a prayer for divine wisdom. Jesus never taught that human knowledge and special skill could be gained by prayer. But he did teach that prayer is a factor in the enlargement of one’s capacity to receive the presence of the divine spirit. When Jesus taught his associates to pray in the spirit and in truth, he explained that he referred to praying sincerely and in accordance with one’s enlightenment, to praying wholeheartedly and intelligently, earnestly and steadfastly.

Lead the mankind to search for God.

When you are blessed with spiritual vision, go forth to your work, dedicating your life to the cause of leading mankind to search for God and to seek eternal realities with the eye of spiritual faith and not with the eyes of the material mind.

Before man realized that his evolving soul was fathered by a divine spirit, it was thought to reside in different physical organs – the eye, liver, kidney, heart, and later, the brain.

THE CERTAINTY OF SALVATION

Jesus lived and died for a whole universe, not just for the races of this one world.

While the mortals of the realms had salvation even before Jesus lived and died on Urantia,

it is nevertheless a fact that his bestowal on this world greatly illuminated the way of salvation;

his death did much to make forever plain the certainty of mortal survival after death in the flesh.

Though it is hardly proper to speak of Jesus as a sacrificer, a ransomer, or a redeemer, it is wholly correct to refer to him as a savior.

He forever made the way of salvation (survival) more clear and certain; he did better and more surely show the way of salvation for all the mortals of all the worlds of the universe of Nebadon.

This entire idea of the ransom of the atonement places salvation upon a plane of unreality; such a concept is purely philosophic.

Human salvation is real; it is based on two realities which may be grasped by the creature's faith and thereby become incorporated into individual human experience:

the fact of the fatherhood of God and its correlated truth, the brotherhood of man.

It is true, after all, that you are to be "forgiven your debts, even as you forgive your debtors."

The cross forever shows that the attitude of Jesus toward sinners was neither condemnation nor condonation, but rather eternal and loving salvation.

Jesus is truly a savior in the sense that his life and death do win men over to goodness and righteous survival.

Jesus loves men so much that his love awakens the response of love in the human heart.

Love is truly contagious and eternally creative. Jesus' death on the cross exemplifies a love which is sufficiently strong and divine to forgive sin and swallow up all evil-doing.

Jesus disclosed to this world a higher quality of righteousness than justice — mere technical right and wrong.

Divine love does not merely forgive wrongs;

it absorbs and actually destroys them.

The forgiveness of love utterly transcends the forgiveness of mercy.

Mercy sets the guilt of evil-doing to one side;

but love destroys forever the sin and all weakness resulting there from.

Jesus brought a new method of living to Urantia.

He taught us not to resist evil but to find through him a goodness which effectually destroys evil.

The forgiveness of Jesus is not condonation;

it is salvation from condemnation.

Salvation does not slight wrongs; it makes them right.

True love does not compromise nor condone hate; it destroys it.

The love of Jesus is never satisfied with mere forgiveness.

The Master's love implies rehabilitation, eternal survival.

It is altogether proper to speak of salvation as redemption if you mean this eternal rehabilitation.
