This is the Answer the Creator Jesus of Nazareth gave the citizens of this world.
It is very important to understand that by your faith sonship with God is a free gift from the Father. Once you accept this gift then do these fruits of the spirit begin to show in your daily life of becoming increasingly like God as you discover the truth, beauty and goodness of His character and as he begins the inspirational work to bring you ever closer to Him.
You can see these beautiful attributes of God demonstrated to this world in the life Jesus shared with us on Urantia. (You have now been made aware of the most complete record of this life in Papers 121 to 196 of the Urantia Papers). And also by the power multiplying fulcrum of the Spirit of Truth working with the Father, just like he did while here on earth (minus the garment of flesh) To continue to make clear the way to become increasing like God as these beautiful fruits of the spirit begin to become yours as you demonstrate the amazing love, startling affection, and aroma of friendliness Jesus demonstrated to us as he lived a life completely devoted to two supreme ideals. To bring God closer to his earth children and to bring man closer to God as he lived his life in communion with the Spirit of God poured out on all flesh who would receive him even before his spirit of Truth joined in the work of the Father. This is why he declared: "If you have seen me you have seen the Father."
The prophets of old were guided by the indwelling Spirit of the Father. Jesus then made the way clear to all who seek to enter as the sons of God.
You attain the Father of Love by your devotion to follow his leadings, urges and guidance that come directly proportional to the efforts you make to find him. Paper 110 will give you the instructions given to this generation concerning communion with the Father in Heaven. It is most important to have continual chats with the Father freely communicating and then being still for a moment in case your soul can perceive the indwelling Father's answer.
Jesus could never convince his brothers and sisters to freely talk with God as he learned as a little child shortly after the Father's Spirit (Thought change to 20 yrs - Thought adjuster for 20 yrs - Thought controller in senior years) arrived in his mind just prior to his 5th year on Urantia.
So Jesus not being able to convince his brothers and sisters to commune freely and frequently with their Father in Heaven, took chalk and a clean charcoal board and wrote down some suggestive ideas about his Father in Heaven. Now with 2,000 years of continued ministry as the Spirit of Truth working with the the Father Spirit citizens are much easier to convince to speak openly, sincerely and from the heart to our indwelling Divine Monitor. He is not only our Father. He is also our best friend.
When you search for God you are searching for everything. He is the first source and center of all of Creation, when you find God you have found everything.
And thus having found the Father, and entered into sonship with Him by living faith his attributes of Character "The Fruits of the Spirit" begin to show forth with increasing power as each new day passes.
