    From Earth To Paradise
We are placed here on earth and we start out as souls to learn, grow, develop, etc through having all kinds of experiences in an imperfect world. You are an imperfect soul; you have a perfect spirit; and you live in an imperfect, mortal body. Your...

Thank you, Pastor Akamune, for this beautiful and timeless reminder. You have articulated the core of our spiritual journey with such clarity. In these times of immense chaos and information noise, such reminders of our divine partnership are not just comforting—they are essential.

Your words on cooperation with the Indwelling Spirit resonate deeply. It brings to mind the profound truth that we are not passive passengers in this process. A truth seeker can willfully choose to become a more effective "perfect teacher" in their own mind by consciously engaging in meditation and stillness, deliberately creating the quiet space necessary for guidance.
This active preparation of the mind feels more crucial than ever. The Urantia Book offers some insight into this in Paper 110, Sections 5 and 6. It describes the great challenge of achieving consciousness of God,”…These realities are actually there, notwithstanding that the Adjuster is seldom able to exalt these duplicate creations sufficiently to exhibit them to the light of consciousness.” (108:6.5) or “…By and with the consent of your will, the Adjuster has the power to subject the creature trends of the material mind to the transforming actions of the motivations and purposes of the emerging morontial soul. (108:5.4)

It further explains the difficulty from the Adjuster's perspective: how the material mind's failure to achieve spiritual consciousness can hinder the process, making it a challenge to transmit the spirit content of the material mind to the soul.

This underscores a vital truth: we must regularly and intentionally make ourselves available. Perhaps this is why a simple practice, like offering for instance a period of prayer, quiet, receptive stillness before sleep, can be so powerful. It is our way of dimming the noise of the world and saying, "I am here, and I am listening."

Thank you again for your inspiring work. One Love. Oliver
