118:10.1 Providence does not mean that God has decided all things for us and in advance. God loves us too much to do that, for that would be nothing short of cosmic tyranny. Man does have relative powers of choice. Neither is the divine love that shortsighted affection which would pamper and spoil the children of men.
Pathways
A rainy spring day is on tap.
There won’t be snow, further north for that.
A cold rain though can be unpleasant.
Make sure you plan for dry refreshment.
Plan for rain, wear a raincoat.
Make sure your shoes will not get soaked.
If you’re prepared you won’t get cold.
Be prepared to play your role.
What e’er that role may be today,
Do your homework, know you’re play.
Do the best job you can do.
Remember, God’s inside of you!
Reflect the love of God within.
Flow with love, go with life’s bends.
The bends in life are where you learn.
Directions change when our hearts churn.
Learn to look, go within and flow.
Love will show how you should go.
Let love win within your soul.
Reflect that pathway to your goal.
Accumulate the seeds of love.
Then cast, and sow with tender gloves
Tend them when they start to sprout.
Then you’ll see what God’s Love’s about.
Thank You, Father, the day’s still young.
Potentials always are far-flung.
I’ll look for love as day unfolds
Direct myself unto Your fold.
