image2./ Why is Michael considered as a creator in 5th Epochal Revelation Urantia Papers?

In the Fifth Epochal Revelation Papers, Michael of Nebadon is considered a creator because he belongs to the order of Paradise Creator Sons (also called Michael Sons), who are the designated makers and rulers of the local universes of time and space. According to the revelation's cosmology:

        • The Creator Sons are the direct offspring of the Universal Father (the First Source and Center) and the Eternal Son (the Second Source and Center). They originate from the perfect, eternal union of the Father's absolute personality concept and the Eternal Son's absolute spiritual ideation.
        • Each Creator Son is unique, the "only-begotten Son" of a specific divine concept or ideal from this union. There are more than 700,000 such sons (with Michael of Nebadon being the 611,121st), and each is an original, final, and unqualified expression of divine creative potentials that can never be duplicated.
        • These sons are sent out from Paradise (the eternal center of all creation) to organize, create, and personally rule their own local universes. They embody the combined creative attributes of both Paradise parents: the Father's personality and volitional power, and the Eternal Son's spiritual and creative prerogatives.
        • Michael of Nebadon specifically is the Creator Son assigned to our local universe (Nebadon), which includes our planet Urantia (Earth) and hundreds of thousands of inhabited worlds. He is the personal creator of all things and beings within Nebadon, working in partnership with his consort, the Universe Mother Spirit (also called the Creative Spirit or Divine Minister), who co-creates life forms and mind endowments.

Key points from the text explaining this role include:

        • Creator Sons are explicitly "the makers and rulers of the local universes of time and space."
        • Michael of Nebadon is described as "the creator of all this local universe of things and beings," and his headquarters is on Salvington.
        • He personifies the 611,121st original concept of infinite identity from the Father-Son union, making him the "only-begotten Son" in the context of that specific divine idea for our universe.
        • To achieve full sovereignty over his creation (ruling not just by inherent right but with experiential supremacy representing the Paradise Trinity), Michael underwent seven bestowals—incarnating in the forms of various orders of his created beings, culminating in his human life as Jesus of Nazareth on Urantia.

This framework differs from traditional monotheistic views by portraying creation as hierarchical and delegated: The Paradise Deities (Father, Son, Spirit) create the grand universe at higher levels, while Creator Sons like Michael handle the detailed organization and evolution of subordinate local universes. Michael is not the ultimate source of all existence (that's reserved for the Universal Father), but he is the direct creator and sovereign father-figure for everything in Nebadon. This teaching emphasizes Michael's dual role as both a high divine being (a Paradise Son) and the experiential ruler who fully identifies with his creatures through incarnation.
