A
Is the Black race inferior?
Is the Black race portrayed negatively in the Urantia Book? What are the implications
are we doomed to deal with this forever?

First—let’s be completely honest.
This is a very real question. It’s not just theological—it’s emotional, personal, and social.
It’s a question about dignity. About self-worth. About justice. About how we see ourselves and each other in the eyes of God.
My Personal Experience:
The first time I read the Urantia Papers—specifically Papers 51, 52, and 64—I was offended.
I was borderline disgusted.
It was hard for me to imagine that the book I love, that’s given me so much spiritual food, could possibly contain anything but love and truth—yet here it was, describing “inferior” and “secondary” races.
It felt too close to the bigotry I’ve seen in this world.
But I made a decision:
Not to judge immediately.
To ask my Thought Adjuster to help me see truly.
To read the whole book carefully and prayerfully.
What I discovered changed me.
Context is Everything.
The Urantia Book wasn’t written in 2025.
It was delivered in the early 20th century, using the scientific and social language of its time.
More importantly—when it describes the Sangik races and their attributes, it's describing humanity hundreds of thousands of years ago.
It’s a planetary history lesson, not a condemnation of people today.
This is critical.
No race is spiritually superior.
No race is inherently more loved by God.
Every race is equally His child.
Why Use Words Like "Inferior"?
Here’s the hard truth:
The revelators were not human.
They didn’t share our experience of racism, slavery, lynching.
They described human evolution in cold, analytical terms—like scientists describing biological traits.
But we are human.
We do feel those words.
And the book itself warns us:
In other words: Interpret with humility, context, and compassion.
The Plan Was Always Blending.
The Urantia Book doesn’t glorify racial separation.
It actually says the divine plan was for all races to intermix, sharing their best qualities.
It wasn’t about supremacy.
It was about synergy.
It was about building a stronger, richer, more unified humanity.
There Are No "Pure" Races Today.
We are all mixed.
The so-called “inferior” or “superior” categories don’t hold up.
Humanity has already fulfilled much of the plan through centuries of cultural exchange and interbreeding.
The very concept of race is fading.
What About Today?
Think about it:
300 years ago, Black people were in chains.
Today, Black excellence is everywhere—arts, sports, academia, politics, spirituality.
Entire cultures have been transformed by Black creativity, resilience, and leadership.
If you wrote a “report” about the Black race in 1700, it would look nothing like a report in 2025.
Why?
Because life is dynamic.
Conditions change.
Education, health, nutrition, freedom, spiritual awakening—all transform people.
“Even our truth today is only a shadow of greater truth yet to be revealed.”
Spiritual Equality is Absolute.
God doesn’t see skin color as a measure of worth.
He sees the heart.
He loves equally, infinitely.
The Urantia Book says:
There is no spiritual hierarchy of races.
There is no eternal condemnation based on ancestry.
Each individual is judged by their choices, character, and spiritual growth.
The Pain of Prejudice is Universal.
Racism isn’t just Black vs. White.
It’s Japanese vs. Korean.
Protestant vs. Catholic.
Rich vs. Poor.
Men vs. Women.
Prejudice is a human disease.
It always wounds.
It always divides.
It is always beneath our divine calling.
Our Calling Today:
Acknowledge the pain of the past.
Understand the failures of history—including the Adamic default.
Reject arrogance, guilt, and blame.
Embrace unity and love.
Challenge prejudice in ourselves and our communities.
See every human being as a beloved child of God, with equal spiritual potential.
Guiding Principle:
“NO INDIVIDUAL can be considered SUPERIOR or INFERIOR based solely on Race.”
Final Word:
We are not doomed to live with these divisions forever.
The entire plan of God is to bring us to Light and Life—a world where prejudice is gone, love is supreme, and humanity stands as one family.
But it starts here.
With us.
With our choices.
With our hearts.
With our willingness to see with divine eyes.
May we be those who choose understanding over fear, unity over division, and love over hate.
Blessings and Light to All. Always.
