Religious life on Urantia is always obtained by revelational evolution (autorevelation, God Judgement by the power of the indwelling adjuster) and periodically by Epochal Revelation when Divine Sons of God appear on Urantia to bring higher knowledge of God to the races of Urantia.. 

  ^101:4.3 Truth is always a revelation: autorevelation when it emerges as a result of the work of the indwelling Adjuster; epochal revelation when it is presented by the function of some other celestial agency, group, or personality.

Our Epochal Revelation is the 5th time Divine Sons have visited our world to assist us in ascertaining and doing the Father's Will. The Urantia Papers provides instructions from Divine Sons and reminds us of God's Promises.

  93:6.4 This covenant of Melchizedek with Abraham represents the great Urantian agreement between divinity and humanity whereby God agrees to do everything; man only agrees to believe God's promises and follow his instructions. Heretofore it had been believed that salvation could be secured only by works -- sacrifices and offerings; now, Melchizedek again brought to Urantia the good news that salvation, favor with God, is to be had by faith. 

However every true spiritual sojourner should keep themselves from making these mistakes after being guided by the thought adjuster they have embraced the latest knowledge of our 5th Epochal Revelation, the Urantia Papers.

  ^99:5.11 What a mistake for Christians to make when, in presenting Christ as the supreme ideal of spiritual leadership, they dare to require God-conscious men and women to reject the historic leadership of the God-knowing men who have contributed to their particular national or racial illumination during past ages.

It was these very human teachers of truth and prophets of old from past ages and the previous four Epochal Revelations that actually prepared the human soul for the reception of the new 5th epochal Revelation. So it would be wise to study both the new revelation as well as the past scriptures and religious teachings that provided the heroic leadership, even as Jesus required of his original apostles. All the while depending on the good guidance of the spirits of God indwelling us.

  ^5:2.3 The divine presence cannot, however, be discovered anywhere in nature or even in the lives of God-knowing mortals so fully and so certainly as in your attempted communion with the indwelling Mystery Monitor, the Paradise Thought Adjuster. What a mistake to dream of God far off in the skies when the spirit of the Universal Father lives within your own mind!

So in summary the 5th Epochal Revelation is provided to help us form the truth postulates and framework of thinking that allows the human mind to actually understand Cosmic Consciousness. The Father's gift of eternal life as his sons and daughters.

• To actually attempt to find and follow the instructions of God and to achieve spiritual growth and maturity.
• To be divinely guided and spiritually directed even as Jesus demonstrated this victory over the flesh in his own life and teachings.
• This is the conversion from the life as it is lived in the flesh to the life as it is lived in the spirit.
• Ever yielding increasing capacity for bestowing the fruits of the spirit in our daily living.

And to every citizen who embraces the 5th Epochal Revelation you should forewarn them as Jesus instructed us to do. 

  ^159:3.7 Forewarn all believers regarding the fringe of conflict which must be traversed by all who pass from the life as it is lived in the flesh to the higher life as it is lived in the spirit. To those who live quite wholly within either realm, there is little conflict or confusion, but all are doomed to experience more or less uncertainty during the times of transition between the two levels of living. In entering the kingdom, you cannot escape its responsibilities or avoid its obligations, but remember: The gospel yoke is easy and the burden of truth is light.
