Dear Family,

I hope you are all doing well. I am excited to share some wonderful news about the farm project.

First, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Brother Phil for his generous donation of $30,000 and to Brother Pato Banton for his incredible support. Brother Phil, having shared goals and aspirations with us, decided to support our vision. Their contributions were originally meant for land payments, but after further exploration, we found another piece of land that was slightly less expensive than the one we had initially planned to buy. I have attached the proposal and business plan we drafted together, though adjustments will be made with everyone’s guidance.

This is truly great news for the project. The land, which we secured (3 acres for a start) at 36M UGX, is in a strategic location it has access to water, is just a few kilometers from town, and is close to both a primary and secondary school. Additionally, there is potential for future expansion, as neighboring landowners may be open to selling. The land is in Ibanda district , Ishongororo town council.

To improve accessibility, we also purchased a motorcycle (5.4M UGX in total ). This will greatly help in managing farm activities more efficiently.

With the land payments now completed, we are set to move forward with the next steps. The next immediate task is fencing the land for security. As coordinators of both CMC Kampala and Kabale, we are committed to working together to make this project a success, in alignment with CMC’s vision. This farm will benefit not only CMC Kampala and Kabale but also the entire Christ Michael Center, strengthening our shared mission and laying a solid foundation for future growth.

Yesterday, I also had the opportunity to tour Brother Lucky around the land where we plan to establish the project. Here is the video;
