Stretch Hands Uganda

Currently I am now the Director of Stretch Hands Uganda and Murambo Beekeeping Organization. Stretch Hands Uganda is supporting children in my community especially Batwa people and non Batwa  people in my community.

SHU is a nonprofit organization and nongovernmental organization,non partisan which is run by adults and youth of different discipline in close cooperation with local communities in Rubanda district of Uganda.
            This is aimed at providing sustainable support to the disadvantaged and risks members of bakiga and Batwa communities of south western Uganda to access support in form of quality health services,education,improve income and human rights awareness.

The mission of the organization is to identify and recognize the needs of vulnerable children by promoting and carrying out activities that ensure conducive environment for proper upbringing in the communities of Rubanda and Kabale district.

Objectives

• To provide literacy in the local communities through children sponsorship programs to the vulnerable children .
• To promote quality education by constructing and managing primary schools in the communities.
• To provide food supplement to the malnourished children .
• To provide better health services through sensitization program.
• To provide a home for homeless ,distressed and HIV /AIDS vulnerable children.
