 Our friend Robert Walugosi is founder and manager of Children's Butiiki Ministry. In the past, he has paid rent with help from a donor who has now passed away. He also sold off part of his land inheritance. The other half he hopes will be the future home for the children. He also has sold sugar, but the profits from that have been used to support the orphanage. June rent has to be paid if these kids are going to have a home. Rent is $350. The kids believe that God is going to work in their lives and that things are going to change for them for the better. Robert taught them to have faith. They have been through so much already. Robert does the best he can for them but they still do not have basic needs met. He needs our help. As a spiritual community, we need to find a way to put our money, our talent, and our love to work for these kids. Over 50% of Uganda's population is under 18 and over 10% of these are orphans according to UNICEF. Here is an opportunity to show God's love to these kids.
