                                            Here is my technic:

                                            Above all, we must not hesitate to read and reread The Urantia Book alone or in a group. Personally, I think the best method I've experienced is to meditate on it with the help of my Adjuster.

                                            Let me explain: before beginning to read a section, I always pray for a few minutes in silence to invite all the Celestials possible to inspire me. In this way, I give myself every opportunity to let my Adjuster guide me in this reflection. I also make sure to be in a quiet and comfortable place. Nature is particularly conducive. It helps calm my mind. This is the meaning of this quotation:
                                            "160:3.1 … How can we induce men to give free rein to God to flow forth from us, refreshing our souls as they go, and then help to enlighten, uplift, and bless countless other souls? What is the best way for me to awaken the latent powers for good that lie dormant in your souls? Of one thing I am certain, emotional excitement is not the ideal spiritual stimulant; it does not increase energy; rather, it depletes the powers of mind and body. Whence, then, does the energy come to accomplish these great things? Observe your Master. At this very hour, he is in the hills, gathering power while we here expend energy. The secret of the whole problem lies in spiritual communion, in worship. From the human standpoint, it is a matter of combining meditation and Relaxation. Meditation establishes contact between the mind and the spirit; relaxation determines the capacity for spiritual receptivity. This substitution of strength for weakness, courage for fear, the will of God for the mind of the self, constitutes worship.

                                            In other words, I always precede reading with a short period of worship. This allows me to increase my receptivity to hearing the voice of my Adjuster, who will undoubtedly guide me in this adventure of discovery
