What is faith?

Jeremiah 29:11. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future.

This evening, Iam here to talk about faith.
Let's assume now that you are sitting down on a chair. Did you examine the chair first to see if it would hold you? No, you probably didn't even think about it. Now lift your feet off the floor. With all of your weight on the chair you are now trusting the chair alone to hold you. You have faith in the chair.

The Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God , this is in Hebrews 11:6. Faith in God means believing without doubting or questioning what God says and acting on it. It means trusting him completely. You put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ when you believed in him as your Personal Saviour.

Now that you are a Christian God wants you to continue to have faith in him and believe in him without no doubt.

You need faith to handle the worse things that come unto your daily life. You need faith to say no to sin any more.you need faith to trust Gods plan on for you. In Hebrews chapter 11 the Bible lists a group of people who were heroes Because of their faith in God they were just like me and you. God tells us to have faith. Some of the heroes of Uganda Marty's that were killed because of their faith. They were very courageous and had no doubt, they had faith.

God is faithful to you so you can have faith in him. I declare prosperity among your job, family etc in this Month of May, may you be revealed of God's faith.

Candle Lighting
Days of beauty stretch before us.
It’s truly Spring out in the forest.
The flowers of Spring bloom many colors.
But green is first, then color follows.

In Spring and Summer flowers show
Many colors as they grow.
They don’t stop until the freeze.
Winter whites then blanche our trees.

I love the colors that I see.
I learn from God inside of me.
An open mind with faith in love
Helps me as I problem solve.

The problems we all face in life
Are solved no matter what our stripes.
Time goes on to life’s conclusion.
We learn lessons from confusion.

That’s the school we call “hard knocks.”
If we don’t learn, our lives can stop.
Often times that makes us listen.
We finally learn another lesson!

A stubborn mind means stunted growth.
So many lost, and are morose.
Don’t be stubborn, please accept
God’s not finished with you yet!

Thank You, Lord, for life on earth.
You gave Your Son, and caused His birth.
You’ve recorded His example.
When we read, You light our candles.
