I am the founder of Lords Mercy Foundation, I take this golden opportunity to join Spiritual Family Network for the great work they are doing to build an outreach platform for these orphaned children of the next generation. Lords mercy foundation is a registered NGO/CBS in Kamuli district Uganda.

I started these works early in 2015 and I started on a small way to help and support the homeless and the widows who can not help themselves .

I have 35 orphaned children at the foundation, please join us in providing solution for the monthly food, house rent, medication, education so that children can have hope for the bright future.

My name is Donna. I have a group on Facebook called MJ Family. I have been on Facebook since late 2010 and, with the help of many Michael Jackson fans, have donated to "Feed My Starving Children" at fmsc.org since 2011. We have also helped a couple of other people who are trying to help children. One is from Ghana, and the other in Uganda.

The Story

These are the children of the Lords Mercy Foundation in Uganda, Africa. Over the time I have known the owner, Ronald, I have seen these children go from having nothing but the clothes on their backs and a building provided by Ronald to sleep in. At the time I met them, they were struggling for food; they would go days without eating, and in all of the pictures and videos I would see of the children, they were wearing their same outfits as always. It broke Ronald's heart that these orphans were without basic necessities. I asked him if they had blankets, he said no. I asked him if they had toothbrushes, he said no. I asked him if they had shoes, he said no. He then shared with me that he has been praying for these necessities for the children and much more. He also wants them to be able to go to school. Since then, I have donated from my personal funds to see that the basic necessities of these children were met. Through teamwork, Ronald and I have purchased organization shirts for the children, shoes for the children, blankets for the children, toothbrushes for the children, and a ball for the children to have something to play with. I have gone from witnessing the desperation on Ronald's face to seeing him smiling and standing proud, handing out these supplies to the children. - by Marissa Bodden
