Mission of Urantia Sharing for the next 12 months!

Dear friends,

Allow me to elaborate on the rationale behind our strategy of selecting one reliable recipient. By consolidating our shipments, we aim to mitigate the significant shipping costs associated with sending individual packages. For instance, the cost of shipping a single Urantia Book to almost anywhere in Africa can amount to $100. In contrast, my recent shipment of 50 Urantia Books to Uganda totaled $1,250, translating to an average cost of $25 per book, inclusive of import fees and shipping charges.

Despite the admirable efforts of the Urantia Foundation, the pricing dynamics on platforms like Amazon present challenges. The current price of the Urantia Book on Amazon is listed at $14.84, but it's worth noting that the Foundation reportedly incurs a loss of $4-5 for each book sold through this channel.

Looking ahead, Urantia Sharing has ambitious plans to distribute 1,200 Urantia Books to Africa within the next 12 months. Given the scale of our mission, we're actively seeking support and collaboration from individuals and organizations alike to help facilitate this endeavor.

Urantia Sharing Outreach to Uganda

At this moment, our partner in the United States is finalizing the dispatch of 50 Urantia Books bound for Kampala.

Anticipated to reach the Christ Michael Center (CMC) Kampala by May, this shipment marks the inauguration of a sustained effort to provide literature across the African continent.

Continuously seeking Urantia groups in need of hard copies, we are thrilled to collaborate with Benjamin from CMC Kampala, who graciously offers to serve as a distribution hub in Uganda.

Urantia Sharing Shipments to Uganda!

We're thrilled to announce the upcoming collaboration between the Urantia Sharing and the Christ Michael Center Kampala! A big thank you to Julius for his insightful suggestion: 'I suggest that you send all the books to one person to act as a central library for distribution to other areas in the country for those who are in dire need.' We're heeding this advice and taking action. Next week, we'll be shipping 50 Urantia Books to Benjamin (CMC), who will serve as the central distribution point. If this initial endeavor goes smoothly, we'll definitely plan more plural shipments in the future. For our friends in Uganda, if you don't receive books immediately, don't worry; more will be on their way. Please note that the shipment will take approximately a month to reach you from the US. New about requests of Urantia Books!

Today, Urantia Sharing graciously committed to dispatching 12 Urantia Books to Mr. Nelson's group. Although Mr. Nelson initially requested 30 UBs, we gently suggested distributing the books amongst themselves. Additionally, we informed Mr. Nelson about our new transparency guidelines, to which he responded, "Thanks brother, that's a good start. Let me coordinate with them to join Urantia Sharing, and when they have joined, I will inform you and also send the delivery details."

Why is Africa neglected?

In our work with Urantia Sharing, we found out that both the Urantia Book Fellowship and Urantia Foundation are not responding to the request for help in providing Urantia Books to Africa. What has happened to these two organizations? We should know that we are all connected, as a Universal Censor puts it so beautifully: 'It may be that the circumstances of existence and the inexplicable vicissitudes of living are all interwoven into a meaningful pattern of high value by the function of the Supreme and the overcontrol of the Trinity'.
