The Urantia Book, Paper 194 - Bestowal of the Spirit of Truth, Page 194:0.1 (2059.1) Slides Link: https://fifthepochalrevelationfellowship.com/notes/Paper_194_bestowal_of_the_spirit_of_truth-2.pptx What really happened at Pentecost, and why did the message of Jesus change so quickly afterward? In this study session, Dr. Roger Paul takes you through Paper 194 of The Urantia Book, The Bestowal of the Spirit of Truth, and uncovers what the early believers got right, what they unintentionally changed, and why it still matters to your spiritual life today. Discover why the apostles went from the gospel of the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man to a new story about the risen Savior, and how that single shift reshaped the religion that followed. Learn the truth about speaking in tongues at Pentecost, what actually happened in the temple, and why the Spirit of Truth always speaks in a language you can understand. You will also learn how the Spirit of Truth changed the way Thought Adjusters are given to humanity, the Sevenfold spiritual influences surrounding every mortal, the real meaning of the baptism of the Spirit, and why you do not have to go searching for what you already carry within you. Along the way, we look at how Pentecost freed women from religious discrimination, why the ransom idea about Jesus may one day fade, the early communal experiment that ended in hardship, the wisdom of Gamaliel, the martyrdom of Stephen, and the founding of the early Christian Church in Jerusalem and Antioch. What is the one thing the Spirit of Truth will never do, and how can you recognize its presence in your own life? Watch to the end to find out. Join us tomorrow night for Paper 195, a long paper packed with history. Connect with Dr. Roger Paul: SHARE this video with anyone seeking deeper spiritual understanding!
