This session unpacks how the Archangels of Nebadon and the resurrection angels gathered to consider restoring Jesus, only to learn that a Creator Son alone holds the power to lay down his life and take it up again. Dr. Paul walks through the personalized adjuster's words explaining the difference between mortal resurrection and Michael's unique transit from life in the flesh to life in the morontia, and reveals the mystery of the soul Jesus created through his human experience, the very being some believe will lead us in the outer space levels in ages to come. The teaching moves into the empty tomb itself, the arrangement of the grave clothes, Mary Magdalene's encounter with the risen Master in the garden, and Peter and John's race to see for themselves. Dr. Paul highlights why the apostles refused to believe the women's report even after Jesus told them plainly he would rise on the third day, and what that says about faith under grief. This is the second to last session in the series working through the final papers of The Urantia Book, with the morontia appearances of Jesus, the Spirit of Truth, and the Faith of Jesus still ahead.
