Spirit of Truth #22 Andre Radatus
“The angels had an interesting way of getting me back to Colorado.” Andre starts by sharing his experience with angels and his certainty about their work. He knows, rather than feels, their presence. He sees evidence of their efforts behind the scenes in moments where his life came together when it could have been otherwise. As a teacher of children with learning differences, Andre aligns with the angels of enlightenment, the corps of seraphim dedicated to fostering education on our planet.
His experience at the Denver Academy allowed him to work with some of the finest teachers he has ever worked with, and his current facilitation of study groups and Urantia University classes allow him to offer diverse ways for others to derive meaning from the Urantia Book. Andre also co-hosts The Cosmic Citizen, an online Urantia Book discussion. Through these varied interactions, Andre has learned some effective practices for sharing the revelation. He recommends that we not bludgeon people with Urantia Book facts; that rather, we build on the foundation of truth that each person brings. This takes humility.
He asks us to consider that the creator of our universe is humble. He invites us to inquire whether we are choosing power or love in each personal interaction. The discussion wraps with the projects Andre is leading as chair of the International Fellowship: his recent visit to the Philippines, the upcoming conference in Uganda, a forthcoming translation to Kiswahili, and an international conference in Monterey, Mexico, for Spanish speakers. These experiences allow us to see how different cultures integrate the gospel of Jesus. After all, Andre reminds us, what the world needs to see is Jesus living again in our lives.
