DISCOVERY: The Meteor Blast That Destroyed the Biblical Sodom | Ancient Architects
Scientists have discovered evidence of a low-altitude meteor explosion that took place north of the Dead Sea around 3,700 years ago. A team have excavated the Bronze Age city of Tall El-Hammam for the past 13 years and they discovered that the mud-brick walls of nearly all structures suddenly disappeared, leaving only stone foundations.
The experts have looked at all the evidence and have identified this ancient city of Tall El-Hamman as the Biblical Sodom of the Old Testament and now it's looks like we've discovered the event that caused the catastrophe. Watch the video to learn more about this news story.
