The Thought Adjuster has no special mechanism through which to gain self-expression; there is no mystic religious faculty for the reception or expression of religious emotions. These experiences are made available through the naturally ordained mechanism of mortal mind. And therein lies one explanation of the Adjuster’s difficulty in engaging in direct communication with the material mind of its constant indwelling.101:1.2
And this power of communion with God was made easy by a little child who upon leaving this world poured out the Spirit of Truth to guide and comfort.
“a little child shall lead them”
KING JAMES VERSION (KJV)
THE BIRTH OF JESUS
122:8.1 All that night Mary was restless so that neither of them slept much. By the break of day the pangs of childbirth were well in evidence, and at noon, August 21, 7 B.C., with the help and kind ministrations of women fellow travelers, Mary was delivered of a male child. Jesus of Nazareth was born into the world, was wrapped in the clothes which Mary had brought along for such a possible contingency, and laid in a near-by manger.
122:8.2 In just the same manner as all babies before that day and since have come into the world, the promised child was born; and on the eighth day, according to the Jewish practice, he was circumcised and formally named Joshua (Jesus).
123:3.6 During this year Joseph and Mary had trouble with Jesus about his prayers. He insisted on talking to his heavenly Father much as he would talk to Joseph, his earthly father. This departure from the more solemn and reverent modes of communication with Deity was a bit disconcerting to his parents, especially to his mother, but there was no persuading him to change; he would say his prayers just as he had been taught, after which he insisted on having "just a little talk with my Father in heaven."
Communion with God
The more you speak with your Thought Adjuster--the God in you--the more it will become real to you. What it takes is constant practice and perseverance. It will become natural for you to speak with Him throughout your day and while you are awake at night. Last night, I had an amazing experience. I woke up and my mind was still. My TA spoke to me and I was fully attentive--having no urge to interrupt. At night or early morning, because your neighborhood is asleep, it is a great time to listen.
Since 2010, I start my days in the Stillness to receive the messages of my TA. Over time, our relationship has deepened and I am looking forward to its next phase. Your TA (Thought Adjuster) is truly your Best Friend Forever.
