If ever, help now: Shiba’s hurt; it’s crisis time for the Son of Man Urantia Project

Hi everyone

I was raised a warrior in the true sense: my father was a PJ, is on the Viet Nam Memorial Wall, and died 54 years ago today—MSgt Charles Allen Kezer, USAF, Parafuckingrescue. Money was another tool, nothing more: something to use, never grub for, and never to beg for or bend over for…we were to stand the line, never give up, and die if needed protecting the county.

That imprint is as strong now as it was then: asking for help, donations, or purchases is difficult—embarrassing—but that’s where I’m at. So while donations will be accepted, I’d feel a lot better if you at least got something for your help. Options are below; it is your call.

Last night one of our fourteen rescue animals—Shiba (short for Queen of…), the youngest of the four dogs was hit by a car. She’s in critical condition getting reconstructive surgery now, and may not make it.

After the last three years of focusing on the Son of Man Urantia Project my savings have all been used, and we are surviving on help from my mother every month until the project supports itself. This bill for Shiba tonight will already break me, and if she lives, we’ve been told it is going to mean at least another couple of surgeries on her hips in the month ahead.

On my end, I’m selling off all equipment left over from trying to start an ocean swimming school/beach club out on the Ecuadorian coast during the pandemic (f’cking brilliant idea), and looking for ways to restart fitness training older adults. Those of you in Cuenca might see my gringo ass selling bananas at the stoplights—but be careful, my aim is good.
