“I have problems in my life. I need hope beyond myself for what I am going through, thinking and feeling. I think I need God’s help most of all in my daily experiences and difficult issues. How can I KNOW God and hear from Him personally?”

God is contactable. Here is what we are taught:

1:3.6 In the universes God the Father is, in potential, the over-controller of matter, mind, and spirit. Only by means of his far-flung personality circuit does God deal directly with the personalities of his vast creation of will creatures, but he is contactable (outside of Paradise) only in the presences of his fragmented entities, the will of God abroad in the universes. This Paradise spirit that indwells the minds of the mortals of time and there fosters the evolution of the immortal soul of the surviving creature is of the nature and divinity of the Universal Father. But the minds of such evolutionary creatures originate in the local universes and must gain divine perfection by achieving those experiential transformations of spiritual attainment which are the inevitable result of a creature’s choosing to do the will of the Father in heaven.

Jesus is our role model.

He made contact with His Father all of the time in His human nature. So can we!

129:1:14 This [28th] year Jesus made great advances in the ascendant mastery of his human mind and attained new and high levels of conscious contact with his indwelling Thought Adjuster. [We are capable of anything He did]

Talking TO God is actually ‘rational thinking’ = they are merely YOUR thoughts given to God. However, at the core of most people’s desires is to hear FROM God, first and foremost. This is transcendent to ‘rational thinking’. Transcendent is beyond the normal and material experience. This is what most people really/truly want and need.

Transcendent: adjective

1. Surpassing others; preeminent or supreme

2.  Lying beyond the ordinary range of perception

You are not alone in this pursuit of God. He is well aware of your sincere desire to find Him and KNOW Him. He desires to communicate with you also. Trust Him. Pursue Him. You WILL find Him within your own mind and soul.

34:6.12 The Spirit never drives, only leads. If you are a willing learner, if you want to attain spirit levels and reach divine heights, if you sincerely desire to reach the eternal goal, then the divine Spirit will gently and lovingly lead you along the pathway of sonship and spiritual progress. Every step you take must be one of willingness, intelligent and cheerful co-operation. The domination of the Spirit is never tainted with coercion nor compromised by compulsion.

In order to find God He must be pursued by the child with transcendent faith

and a willing heart. PURSUIT is the key!

1:7.2 Man does not achieve union with God as a drop of water might find unity with the ocean. Man attains divine union by progressive reciprocal spiritual communion, by personality intercourse with the personal God, by increasingly attaining the divine nature through wholehearted and intelligent conformity to the divine will. Such a sublime relationship can exist only between personalities.

Jesus told us clearly that in order to find and KNOW God we must be tremendously PERSISTENT!

144:2.3 "Prayer is the breath of the soul and should lead you to be persistent in your attempt to ascertain the Father's will. If any one of you has a neighbor, and you go to him at midnight and say: 'Friend, lend me three loaves, for a friend of mine on a journey has come to see me, and I have nothing to set before him'; and if your neighbor answers, 'Trouble me not, for the door is now shut and the children and I are in bed; therefore I cannot rise and give you bread,' you will persist, explaining that your friend hungers, and that you have no food to offer him. I say to you, though your neighbor will not rise and give you bread because he is your friend, yet because of your importunity he will get up and give you as many loaves as you need. If, then, persistence will win favors even from mortal man, how much more will your persistence in the spirit win the bread of life for you from the willing hands of the Father in heaven. Again I say to you: Ask and it shall be given you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you. For every one who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks the door of salvation will be opened.

When you find your Paradise Father who dwells within you, here is what happens:

101:1.3 The divine spirit makes contact with mortal man, not by feelings or emotions, but in the realm of the highest and most spiritualized thinking. It is your thoughts, not your feelings, that lead you Godward. The divine nature may be perceived only with the eyes of the mind. But the mind that really discerns God, hears the indwelling Adjuster, is the pure mind. “Without holiness no man may see the Lord.” All such inner and spiritual communion is termed spiritual insight. Such religious experiences result from the impress [like a stamp] made upon the mind of man by the combined operations of the Adjuster and the Spirit of Truth as they function amid and upon the ideas, ideals, insights, and spirit strivings [persistence] of the evolving sons of God.

***Mother Spirit IS mind and Her ministry is to reshape our minds to be in a better format for Him to eventually come closer.

***Jesus’ Spirit of Truth [given to all of us on the Day of Pentecost] lives in our souls and His spirit is pulling us up and into a narrow vertical canal leading us into our higher consciousness.

***Our Father Fragments, Thought Adjusters, live in our minds. He is patiently waiting there as you are silent, still and poised without any mental poisons to impede His ability to get through to YOU!

***You are 99.99% material and He is 100% spiritual. This is a massive pursuit for both of you to get through.

When you finally attain your Divine Thought Adjuster these will be your results:

102:4.5 Prayer is indeed a part of religious experience, but it has been wrongly emphasized by modern religions, much to the neglect of the more essential communion of worship. The reflective powers of the mind are deepened and broadened by worship. Prayer may enrich the life, but worship illuminates destiny.

This God-man channel, when opened will begin a stream of spiritual transcendent growth for YOU,

His beloved child.

​

146:2.4 By opening the human end of the channel of the God-man communication, mortals make immediately available the ever-flowing stream of divine ministry to the creatures of the worlds. When man hears God’s spirit speak within the human heart, inherent in such an experience is the fact that God simultaneously hears that man’s prayer. Even the forgiveness of sin operates in this same unerring fashion. The Father in heaven has forgiven you even before you have thought to ask him, but such forgiveness is not available in your personal religious experience until such a time as you forgive your fellow men. God’s forgiveness in fact is not conditioned upon your forgiving your fellows, but in experience it is exactly so conditioned.

In other words; you will know God like this when you pursue Him.

Expecting to just ‘have a connection’ with God because it is a fact will avail you little. You will EXPERIENCE God when you consistently, persistently and with loving effort develop your intercourse with Him. It is like a marriage. Thinking our marriages are good simply because we are married avails a limited and rather vapid relationship. We must care for our spouses, spend time with them and seek to love them before we experience the goodies of the best that marriage has to offer us.

God is the Source of all truth everywhere. He is a Person with a Personality.

He is REALITY! He can be known!

​

1:2.1 God is primal reality in the spirit world; God is the source of truth in the mind spheres; God overshadows all throughout the material realms. To all created intelligence-s God is a personality, and to the universe of universes he is the First Source and Center of eternal reality. God is neither manlike nor machine-like. The First Father is universal spirit, eternal truth, infinite reality, and father personality.

2. What will you change in your daily life schedule in order to make the time for this massive pursuit?

3. How do you think this will change your life?

This is a good time to say the Lord’s Prayer together. Give a prayer request or question to your leader.

When men search for God, they are searching for everything. When they find God, they have found everything. The search for God is the unstinted bestowal of love attended by amazing discoveries of new and greater love to be bestowed.
