Have you ever wondered why there are angels?

These beings are the lowest down-reach of the children of the Universe Mother Spirit and are known as the ministering spirits of the local universe, meaning they help US, the lowest of the creatures of time and space. With the assistance of the cherubim, these angels have initial contact with us ascending mortals as we live out our life here in the flesh and beyond. We truly need to appreciate that all orders of the angelic hosts are working “in the furtherance of the ascending scheme of progressive perfection for the children of time...they form that unbroken chain of spirit ministers which has been provided by the Infinite Spirit for the help and guidance of all who seek to attain the Universal Father through the Eternal Son.”

(26:1.15) Therefore, in furthering our progress this means they are assisting us to advance in our ascension, moving upwards towards perfection and our Father.

THIS is why there are angels! Because they are so much older than we are, millions of years older, does it not seem intelligent to heed any leading, urging, nudging as best we can in order to act in accordance with divine will? Just as we have been taught to honour our elders and then to turn around and teach our juniors once we have become possessed of knowledge, beginning early in our life these are our first spiritual teachers. We will one day serve in a ministry very much like the ministry the angels have provided for us, even though we never become angels.

Therefore in our day to day living, we “work out the details of our earthly sojourn in connection with the intelligences of the Infinite Spirit operating on your world and throughout our universe.”

 (5:3.5) This means that you can feel free to communicate with your tireless seraphim each morning in seeking help for the outworking of your daily activities as it is their domain of service.

“Seraphim are the traditional angels of heaven; they are the ministering spirits who live so near you and do so much for you. They have ministered on Urantia since the earliest times of human intelligence.” (113:0.2)

Seraphim is just another term for angels. And our seraphim sincerely want us to succeed in surviving and to pass all of our increasing ascending levels because they will be journeying with us all the way to the personal presence of the Father!

Jesus taught: “As man progresses in the journey to the Father in Paradise, he does traverse a state of being at one time analogous to the state of the angels, but mortal man never becomes an angel.” (167:7.2) 

Have you ever heard a parent say to their child after the passing of a grandparent, that they’ve gone to heaven to become an angel? Because we do in reality pass through that stage where we seem to be similar to angels, we progress beyond that phase.

How seraphim are assigned to us

Since the time of the bestowal of Michael, “in the ministry to so-called normal beings, seraphic assignments are made in accordance with the human attainment of the circles of intellectuality and spirituality.” (113:1.6)

The attainment of these “circles” are all dependent on our combined spiritual and intellectual inheritance as well as our free will to give our sincere co-operation to our spirit helpers throughout our life. These are achieved differently and uniquely so as each individual progresses at her/his own rate. And although we have eternity to develop these, it is to the advantage of our personality to acquire as many as we can before leaving this fleshy experience here.

These circles, known equally as physic and cosmic circles are, from the seventh which is our first encounter with them:

intuition,              7

understanding,    6

courage,              5

knowledge,          4

counsel,               3

worship, and        2

wisdom. (first)      1

So, here is how it looks in our circle development:

- seventh circle – 1 pair of seraphic guardians plus one company of cherubim for 1000 mortals

- sixth circle, ----- 1 pair of seraphic guardians one company of cherubim for 500 mortals

- fifth circle – -----1 pair of seraphic guardians with one company of cherubim for 100 mortals

- fourth circle – ---1 pair of seraphic seraphic guardians with one company of cherubim for 10 mortals

When we break through an attain the third circle – we acquire a personal angel = a seraphic pair to be wholly and exclusively devoted to us.

“..These human souls, in addition to the ever-present and increasingly efficient indwelling Thought Adjusters, receive the undivided assistance of these personal guardians of destiny in all their efforts to finish the third circle, traverse the second, and attain the first.”(1131.8) THIS is where we want to be as soon as humanly possible!

“Seraphim are not known as guardians of destiny until such time as they are assigned to the association of a human soul who has realized one or more of three achievements: 1. has made a supreme decision to become Godlike, 2. has entered the third circle, or 3. has been mustered into one of the reserve corps of destiny.” (113:2.1)

Do you see how we can willfully work to earn the assignment of our own seraphic pair?

Our angels develop a deep affection for us and share most of our emotions, experiencing some additional ones but cannot understand our fear which is so common in the average human on Urantia.

“In the ministry of personal guardianship, the assignment of angels as destiny guardians, seraphim always volunteer their services.” (113:2.7) This is important to consider and see the richness of this relationship when we know we have been specifically chosen for our intellectual and spiritual capacity, accompanied by their exclusive and tireless devotion to us.

And, again, look at what Jesus wants us to know about angels:

“Many of these angels are engaged in the work of saving men, for have I not told you of the seraphic joy when one soul elects to forsake sin and begin the search for God? I did even tell you of the joy in the presence of the angels of heaven over one sinner who repents, thereby indicating the existence of other and higher orders of celestial beings who are likewise concerned in the spiritual welfare and with the divine progress of mortal man.” (167:7.5)

Look at this to see the division of labor that these two angels share in their ministry to us:

“When a seraphic pair accept guardian assignment, they serve for the remainder of the life of that human being. The complement of being (one of the two angels) becomes the recorder of the undertaking. These complemental seraphim are the recording angels of the mortals of the evolutionary worlds. The records are kept by the pair of cherubim (a cherubim and a sanobim) who are always associated with the seraphic guardians, but these records are always sponsored by one of the seraphim.”(113:2.9)

These will be the records that our seraphim will take with them upon our mortal death to present for judgment on the other side. They are a perfect reflection of all that we held as true, beautiful and good in our life.

“Angels are the sure and heavenly guides of the soul of man during that uncharted and indefinite period of time which intervenes between the death of the flesh and the new life in the spirit abodes.” - Jesus (167:7.6)

And they need their rest as we do!

“For purposes of rest and recharging with the life energy of the universe circuits, the guardian is periodically relieved by her complement, and during her absence the associated cherubim functions as the recorder, as is also the case when the complemental seraphim is similarly absent.” (113:2.10)

When you ask the seraphim for help each day, don’t forget to tell them how much you love them!

Let’s talk about midwayers! These beings are half-way between us mortals and the angelic realm, thus the name midwayers. There are two types resident on the planet, primary – originating from the days of the Planetary Prince about 500 000 years ago, and the secondary midwayers dating from the time of Adam and Eve, 37 000 years ago. Unfortunately, a huge number of these beings were lost in rebellion and disloyal to planetary administration, and are now interned on the universe prison worlds awaiting adjudication. The remaining loyal midwayers have voluntarily united and have functioned as one unit in world affairs ever since.

“Their determination is suggested by the motto of their order: “What the United Midwayers undertake, the United Midwayers do.” (77:9.3)

Midwayers vary greatly in their abilities to make contact with the seraphim above and with their human cousins below. They are considerably nearer the angelic type of being and are therefore usually assigned to working with, and ministering to, the spiritual forces resident on the planet. The secondary creatures are almost exclusively attached to the ministry of the material beings of the realm (us and animals!). The 1,111 loyal secondary midwayers are engaged in important missions on earth. Now pay attention to the time of 11:11 on your clock/watch and think of these beings!

 

Many of the more literal phenomena ascribed to angels have been performed by the secondary midway creatures. For example, “in the case of Peter’s deliverance after the killing of James by Herod’s order, it was a secondary midwayer who performed the work ascribed to an angel.” (77:8.12)

A final comfort, with “the pouring out of the Spirit of Truth...

...upon all flesh, forever made it impossible for disloyal spirits of any sort or description ever again to invade even the most feeble of human minds. Since the day of Pentecost there never again can be such a thing as demoniacal possession.” (77:7.8) 

Rest assured that the evil spirits have been removed from the earth once and for all!

From our secondary midwayer, to primary midwayer, to morontia cherubim, to mid-phase cherubim to our seraphim,

we are perfectly bridged between the material world and the spiritual worlds!

Why has so much blame for the world’s strife been placed upon Adam and Eve?

Herein is the true history of the creation, arrival and story of this beloved Son and Daughter of our Creator. This is how it goes, see what you think:

From revelation (source from supernatural minds), we learn that our Creator Son (known to us as Jesus) had personalized himself in the creation of the beautiful and superb Sons and Daughters of the material order (meaning “physical”) of universe sonship. Hence, is this the origin of Adam and Eve (of which there are many) in Nebadon, the name of our universe – SOME of what you see in the night sky on a clear night! And they can reproduce, being created male and female.  They always come in pairs, are deeply in love and so connected that they cannot be separated physically without suffering a bit.

Let this sink in a bit.

If, by FAITH, you accept this concept, then do you realize that the Adam and Eve of the Bible were not made here on earth in the Garden of Eden, no extra ribs necessary, and are not the only ones of this type to be created.

So, WHY did Adam and Eve come to our planet?

Simply put: We Needed help!

“It should be apparent that, when an an Adam and Eve arrive on an evolutionary world (like ours), the task of achieving racial harmony and social co-operation among its diverse races is one of considerable proportions. ... And had your Adam adhered to the original plan for the advancement of Urantia, by this time these spirits of brotherhood would have worked unbelievable transformations in the human race. In view of the Adamic default, it is indeed remarkable that these seraphic orders have been able to foster and bring to realization even as much of brotherhood as you now have on Urantia.” (39:5.4)

See, the original plan of Adam and Eve was to uplift (make better, improve) our biological and spiritual welfare. However, because of their lack of success, even though some good had come from their time here, their unfinished business meant the continuation of the acts of evil, sin and iniquity on this world, which people cannot seem to harmonize with a loving Father God, who gave each of us FREE WILL. You KNOW what that means, right? We each decide to make the choice several times daily to go along (or NOT!) with the way of the Father, his will for each of us as it relates to the “big scheme”.

Now, HOW did they arrive here on our world?

Believing that Adam and Eve were Material beings who lived and worked on another world in our creation, far, far away, you know that they would need to be transported (brought to) here, to a ready-made garden which was patterned off the beautifully, exquisite gardens on a world called Edentia, hence, the name Garden of Eden. This garden was built to accommodate a million inhabitants, if all had gone to plan, and was designed so superbly for vegetation and animal husbandry, devoted to practical arts, fundamental intellectual training, social culture, economic development, trade relations, physical efficiency, and civil government, complete with a temple to the Father in the center, which housed “the tree of life”. And that tree was to be their sustenance while they lived here in the flesh, in order to sustain them for...well, ever!...had they succeeded.

After being dematerialized on Jerusem, their departure world, fully rehearsed in their instructions and having sworn allegiance to our Creator Michael (Jesus), they said good-bye to their children there and departed for our world in a vehicle designed to bring them here.

“At high noon and unannounced, the two seraphic transports, accompanied by the Jerusem personnel intrusted with the transportation of the biologic uplifters to Urantia, settled slowly to the surface of the revolving planet in the vicinity of the temple of the Universal Father.”(74:0:1)

SO cool!

Does this sound like science-fiction?! Well, maybe our science-fiction got its ideas from the Revelation! And this is how our Adam and Eve arrived to earth from their home planet.

Thus began their mission to familiarize themselves with our sin-torn world, and to modify.

They were a seriously and disillusioned Adam and Eve, who walked that first night through the Garden under the shining of the full moon, discussing plans for the next day. The results of the rebellious acts of the now-deposed Lucifer and Satan had left this beautiful creation of Michael so ravaged that it was overwhelming to these two who, now, separated from all contact from on high, had to figure out the best way forward.

They had much to contend with as they bore many children (but not the required amount needed to fulfill their mission), and had to face the challenge of dealing with aggressive tribes, influenced by rebels, outside of the Garden.

And, so it was, that the enemy of good, that power-stripped former Planetary Prince, Caligastia, sought to tear apart the plans of Adam and Eve and even to lure them to side with him in rebellion against our Beloved Universe Father, as his human affiliates assist him even still today. Though he failed in that, he certainly succeeded in bringing the rest of their newly-begun plan to a halt of sorts as this Beloved Son and Daughter were now cut off from the tree of life, their eternal sustenance.

How did their failure, known as the Default, happen?

The Bible would have us believe that Eve, apparently, not a very intelligent woman, ate an “evil” apple. Does this really make sense to you? This is not the stuff of fairy tales! It was more devious than eating an apple. However, the so-called devil-snake, which did not exist in this form, cunningly devised a plan in the minds of Eve and a male friend in the Garden, (unbeknownst to them) who thought he, too, was working for God’s plan, to help the number of children grow faster. Thus was born the idea for Eve to mate with a man from a tribe outside the Garden, whose name was Cano...thereby not keeping her vow to only mate with her husband, Adam. When the “deed” was done, all spirit forces were astir with the news of what had happened.

                                              We CANNOT hide from Spirit, no matter who or where we are!

The angel of the Garden, Solonia informed both Adam (unaware of what happened, but knew it was “something big”) and Eve of the consequences of her action. Adam was given the choice to continue on as he was (immortal), destined to see his SO beloved wife die, that he could not bear to live without her. Therefore, did he mate with another female, thereby cinching his fate as well with default and becoming human.

Surely, here is a story of a true, romantic love with extremely serious

consequences for himself as well as for the rest of the world.

The tree of life was removed and they became mortals of the realm = humans. The child Eve bore from this mating was named Cain. And you know most of his story. Do you also remember in the Bible, where Cain is cast out because of what he did to his half-brother Abel?

It says he went off to the “land of Nod” where he took himself a wife. Did you ask yourself when you first read that, “Who is Nod?” especially if Adam and Eve were the first ever people here on earth? And “Where did this wife come from”? Well, Nod WAS a person, who was a member of the first group of one hundred who came to improve living conditions here, too, and with the Rebellion, was chosen to be the leader of the sixty rebellious of that staff, and subsequently had taken off to another part of the world after that turbulent time to set up his own group. Hence, in “the land of Nod”.

If Adam and Eve had not failed, they would be with us today as King and Queen of the earth!

​

“While downcast by the sense of guilt, Adam and Eve, were greatly cheered by the announcement that their judges on Salvington had absolved them from all charges of standing in “contempt of the universe government.”(75:7:2)

After all, Eve only wished to hasten Michael’s plan for us, not turn against his plan altogether. It seemed like a good plan at the time to her! Did you ever feel this way? That you made a choice you felt was the best of all possible alternatives only to find out that the results later proved very different? You are not alone!!

“Their transgression had been an error of judgment and not the sin of conscious and deliberate rebellion.”(76:5.1)

Like you and me!

Worse yet, all their minor children, under the age of twenty, were removed and a large portion who were given the choice to leave left. How sad for the parents, and for us, not staying to participate in our uplift. Adam died at 530 years of age, Eve, dying nineteen years before her husband.

Two positive results from all this:

​

1.Adam and Eve now sit on what is known as the Council of 24, mostly people from Urantia (earth) who earned a place there to govern over us as well as 37 other worlds. And they look forward to their ascension career to Paradise, like us!

2. “The public announcement that Michael had selected Urantia [earth] as the theater for his final bestowal was made shortly after we learned about the default of Adam and Eve.”(119:7:2) 

And THIS is the good news for us!

Jesus was coming! Yay!!

Take heart Girls, Ladies and Women – This is for you, too!

​

Here on Earth – Urantia, as it is known on celestial records – we are sex creatures, in other words, we are either born male or female with all the physical parts that make us so. While there are those who feel they have been born in the “wrong” body form and take action to seek a modicum of peace with that, they will always remain so, even on “the other side” and into eternity.

​

Consider: “Men and women need each other in their morontial [post earth] and spiritual as well as in their mortal careers. The differences in viewpoint between male and female persist even beyond the first life and throughout the local and superuniverse ascensions. And even in Havona, the pilgrims who were once men and women will still be aiding each other in the Paradise ascent. Never, even in the Corps of the Finality, will the creature metamorphose so far as to obliterate the personality trends that humans call male and female;... 84:6.6

 

This means that the sex we are born into and with will always be “us”, especially the unique mind qualities that make up each.

What does that mean, then, being a “son” of God?

​

While on the path of our universe career, we shall always carry with us our female-ness or our male-ness, we are technically all known as “sons” here on this world. See, universe daughters [angels] are the offspring of the Divine Minister/the Creative Daughter/our Holy Spirit, the equal partner of our universe Creator Michael [Jesus]. Since we are not born angels, as they are, nor shall we ever become angels, mind you, we shall traverse stages in our universe progression wherein we become more spirit-like, we never transform into those angelic daughters whose roles are different from that which we will be doing in the far distant future.

And so, “...in dealing with sex creatures it is our custom to speak of those beings of more direct descent from the Father and the Son as the SONS OF GOD, while referring to the children of the Spirit [angels] as the daughters of God.” 38:2.2

So, YES, you are a son of God!

​

Each of us, male and female alike. As are the rest of his freewill mortal creatures in his universe.

“In its true essence, religion is a faith-trust in the goodness of God...This goodness of God is a part of the personality of God, and its full revelation appears ONLY in the personal religious experience of the BELIEVING SONS OF GOD.” 2:6.1​

Here is the thing: it is all about our relationships (which are an end in themselves), in how we exhibit in our daily lives the personal religious experience we have chosen to follow as we accept sonship.

​“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” 8:6.4

​

In fact, we are known as faithsons, as it is because of our faith in our Paradise Father that he IS our Father which makes us his sons. It then follows that as we behave, following his will to the best of our ability, that we become part of his family of striving faithsons here on this world = that human fraternity of his divine spirit = the brotherhood of man. By faith in the Fatherhood of God, you may enter the kingdom of heaven, thus becoming a son of God.

​

As ascending mortals of an evolutionary world, we are assisted and indwelt by the

Universal Father himself, our Thought Adjuster – the Father of our Soul.

​

Because of this amazing gift of the Father residing within our minds, we are mightily helped to be guided throughout our day to follow his leading towards his will. And forget not (it always gets better!):

“What a son desires, and the Father wills will certainly come to pass.” 118:6.5

This is HUGELY powerful when you think about what this means to you personally as you grab hold of your faith in our Heavenly Father!  “And never forget: You who know God are the sons of God if you truly yearn to be like him.” said Jesus.

​

If you believe in Jesus, you are already a son of God. As sons of God, he taught this as a new and larger brotherhood of man; and while he never ceased to urge:

“Introduce men to God and as the sons of God before you discourse on the doctrines of the fatherhood of God and the sonship of men. 141:6.4

Jesus went on and said to simply go forth proclaiming:

"This is the kingdom of heaven—God is your Father and you are his sons, and this good news, if you wholeheartedly believe it, is your eternal salvation.” 141:6.4

“Our teaching provides a religion wherein the believer is a son of God.”  ~ Jesus 142:3:8

We ask ourselves:

Do I sincerely believe? Is this my personal religion?

How clear our Beloved Jesus makes this to us: “If you receive God as your Father, then indeed and in truth are you the sons of God. And if you are sons, then are you secure in the position and standing of all that concerns eternal and divine sonship.”  142:5.2

Are you beginning to see what is required of you to be called his son?

​

It is as simple as accepting the gift of faith which is offered to you, and then to live with dynamic dedication to carry out the will of our Father, together with his Son, our elder brother, Jesus.

Pay attention to this paraphrasing of what Jesus said, this should help you in determining his will:

“The will of God is the way of God, partnership with the choice of God in the face of any potential alternative. ... The will of man is the way of man, the sum and substance of that which the mortal chooses to be and do.”  130:2.7​

So, this means that when you are faced with a required action, or something to say, and in thinking carefully beforehand, and you see a couple of options, which do you truly think would be the one choice God would have you make? Like the often-repeated: What Would Jesus Do? Not always easy to do, but it is in taking the time to consider just before to give our indwelling Father Fragment the opportunity to

“adjust” =  give us our answer.

Let’s continue with his teaching at the Passover in Jerusalem, when Jesus said:

“And if you are the sons of God, then have you been born of the spirit of God; and whosoever has been born of the spirit has in himself the power to overcome all doubt, and this is the victory that overcomes all uncertainty, even your faith.”  142:5.3

​

We know that our battle is against doubt- unbelief.

And our prayer needs to be: Father, I pray you help my unbelief.

As a child of saving and living faith, be assured that you are already a liberated son of God. And his assurance continues as Jesus explains to Thomas asking about how to know about the truth in the gospel:

“Having been endowed with the living spirit of the Father, you are therefore sons of God. You survive your life in the material world of the flesh because you are identified with the Father’s living spirit, the gift of eternal life.” 146:3.5

See this?! He is referring here to our indwelling Thought Adjuster = “the living spirit of the Father”! This was rare in those days, as not many had Adjusters, but you may be sure that those who came in contact with the majesty of Jesus and his teachings, received this Father-mind-presence.

To the acceptance of faith in the Father

Who was Christ Michael, known to us as Jesus? Where did he really come from?

​

We need to back up a bit in order to answer these questions.

What is a “superuniverse”?!

In ALL of Creation, commonly known as the grand universe or the “universe of universes”, which the Father himself expressed outwardly due to the pouring out of his Divine Love, there are organized seven very large universes called “superuniverses”.

Why seven, you ask?

That is the number combination of the three Trinity personalities who have bestowed their spirit essence and influence upon each superuniverse:

So, each with the Spirit - #1 = of the Father; # 2 – of the Son; #3 – of the Infinite Spirit; #4 – of the Father and the Son; #5 – of the Son and the Infinite Spirit; #6 – of the Father and the Infinite Spirit; and #7 (ours – called Orvonton!) - has the spirit influence of all three!! Each of these huge individual manifestations revolve around the Central Isle of Paradise in a circular and orderly fashion, for all eternity...no running into each other ever!

Each superuniverse is comprised of many organized groups, one of which is 100,000 local universes, each created by a Creator Son. These Creator Sons, also known as Paradise Sons as they originate in Paradise, are all called Michael Sons and are each called Michael. Our very own Michael Son came to us to be known as Jesus...more on that in a few more paragraphs.

As each Michael is the Creator-Father, together with our Divine Mother, of course,

we think our Michael is the best Michael Son– our Dad! Wouldn’t you?

If your own biological father was named David, for example, and you had a couple of friends whose fathers’ names was David as well, wouldn’t your dad be the best David in your eyes? Yay! And our whole experience here until we have fused (combined perfectly with our indwelling Father Fragment to become one) will be uniquely knowing him as our Father and we as his children.

How do these Creator Sons come to be?

​

Some background on the parents: 

“The Original and Eternal Son (the second person of the Trinity) is the offspring-person of the “first” completed and infinite thought of the Universal Father. Every time the Universal Father and the Eternal Son jointly project a new, original, identical, unique, and absolute personal thought, that very instant this creative idea is perfectly and finally personalized in the being and personality of a new and original Creator Son. In spirit nature, divine wisdom, and co-ordinate creative power, these Creator Sons are potentially equal with God the Father and God the Son.”(7:6.3)

This is amazing as our Michael was the 611,121st Michael Son to be created. Remember that each superuniverse has 100,000 local universes, created by a Michael Son...may we presume that the other superuniverses (#1 through #6), have their full complement of Michael Sons? And that we in Orvonton have worked our way up to 611,121 so far? Meaning that almost 89,000 more local universes to be created by new and original Michael Sons will be created by this same origination of each Son?

So now, Jesus – where does he “come in”? What is a “bestowal”?

​

“Bestowal” coming from “to bestow” means: to invest in; to commit to; to lavish upon; to distribute to; to give to. With this in mind, know that our Father Michael bestowed himself – gifted himself – seven times in the likeness of seven of his many types of children.

​

Read the following: 

“The attribute of bestowal is inherent in the Paradise Sons of the Universal Father. In their desire to come close to the life experiences of their subordinate living creatures, the various orders of the Paradise Sons are reflecting the divine nature of their Paradise parents. The Eternal Son of the Paradise Trinity led the way in this practice, having seven times bestowed himself upon the seven circuits of Havona...” (119:0.2)

So you see, that following the pattern, example, of the Eternal Son of bestowing himself on to others, ALL the other local universe Creators do the same thing as it is their pleasure to share their experience amidst their parents with their children. Kind of like us, too – after living with good parents at home, we like to have the opportunity, if we are fortunate, to partner with someone else and to bestow upon our children the love and knowledge we experienced in our first home. Make sense?

A promise each Michael makes in order to complete his universe-making requirements:

“When the Eternal Son bestows a Creator Son upon a projected local universe, that Creator Son assumes full responsibility for the completion, control, and composure of that new universe, including the solemn oath to the eternal Trinity not to assume full sovereignty of the new creation until his seven creature bestowals shall have been successfully completed and certified by the Ancients of Days of the superuniverse of jurisdiction. This obligation is assumed by every Michael Son who volunteers to go out from Paradise to engage in universe organization and creation.”(119:0.3)

Important to note how as these Michael Sons initially spread out into their new creation, that there is a formality to accepting such an immense responsibility in forming and taking on the rest of the development of a local universe, as we would when we commit in a marriage ceremony to being faithful to a partner as well as to any children who might be born into the union.

Why are these bestowals necessary for full authority over their own universe?

​

“The purpose of these creature incarnations is to enable such Creators to become wise, sympathetic, just, and understanding sovereigns. These divine Sons are innately just, but they become understandingly merciful as a result of these successive bestowal experiences; they are naturally merciful, but these experiences make them merciful in new and additional ways. These bestowals are the last steps in their education and training for the sublime tasks of ruling the local universes in divine righteousness and by just judgment.”(119:04)

​

Then, and only after the successful completion of the seventh bestowal, do these Michaels “graduate”, as they ascend immediately to the Father for approval and then become known as a Master Sovereign Son of his own creation – like our Michael now is!

Look at the POWER invested in the Creator Sons – including ours!

​

“The Creator Sons seem to possess a spiritual endowment centering in their persons, which they control and which they can bestow, as did your own Creator Son when he poured out his spirit upon all mortal flesh on Urantia. Each Creator Son is endowed with this spiritual drawing power in his own realm; he is personally conscious of every act and emotion of every descending Son of God serving in his domain. Here is a divine reflection, a local universe duplication, of that absolute spiritual drawing power of the Eternal Son which enables him to reach out to make and maintain contact with all his Paradise Sons, no matter where they may be in all the universe of universes.”(20:1:13)

“Our Creator Son exerts the same spiritual drawing power, spirit gravity, from the headquarters of the local universe that the Eternal Son of Paradise would exert if he were personally present on Salvington, and more; this Universe Son is also the personification of the Universal Father to the universe of Nebadon (the name of our local universe!). Creator Sons are personality centers for the spiritual forces of the Paradise Father-Son. Creator Sons are the final power-personality focalizations of the mighty time-space attributes of God the Sevenfold. (33:1:3)

THAT IS TREMENDOUS SPIRITUAL POWER!!!

And how do we involve ourselves, choose to become drawn by this channel of spiritual power that is a part of our own Michael? He wants us! We need to co-operate!

Let’s continue: 

“Said your Paradise bestowal Son (Jesus) when yet on Urantia, "I, if I am lifted up, will draw all men." This spiritual drawing power of the Paradise Sons and their creative associates we recognize and understand, but we do not so fully comprehend the methods of the all-wise Father's functioning in and through these Mystery Monitors that live and work so valiantly within the human mind.” (108:4.1)

Jesus does all the work of drawing.

However, He expects our obedience to promote and lift Him up to our fellows.

We will be held accountable for this.

Enter Jesus of Nazareth!  Now you have learned about the bestowal requirement and purpose, you must the better understand why our Michael had to bestow himself seven times. And his final and seventh bestowal was as the lowest of his will creatures, mortal man – us. He was conceived by and born of Mary and Joseph (who were happily married for over a year) in 7 BCE, as a helpless babe as you and I are – flesh and blood. He was given the name Joshua ben Joseph, and he lived as a toddler, child, adolescent and a full-grown adult until his death at the age of thirty-six,in 30 CE, having been put to death at the hands of the Roman soldiers under the orders of the vengeance-seeking Jewish Sanhedrists.

However, as we are told: 

“Of all human knowledge, that which is of greatest value is to know the religious life of Jesus and how he lived it.”(196:1.3)

This means to thoroughly study his human life, to look at how he acted in each situation with another/others, in his private, personal life, and in his religious dealings with the apostles and all others with whom he came in contact. When he ascended to the Father on May 18, 30 CE, and ultimately became our Master Sovereign Son, he returned to his administrative position as co-ruler of our Universe AND as our Father – being both Michael and Jesus in one.

I am despairing for our futures. This world seems to be so full of evil and darkness I wonder if any of us will be okay. You say there is comfort and hope. Please, tell me what this is all about?

​

Think of it like this:

​

We are each a single individual circuit inside our casing/s [avatar = human bodies] with an energized connection to Paradise via our Thought Adjusters.

definition of circuit = A path or route the complete traversal of which without local change of direction requires returning to the starting point.

​

One ‘in the kingdom of God’ is successfully connected to the Spiritual Power of Paradise = SOURCE . One who is not just loops back around to try again and again and again. A this might be the definition of ‘depression’ etc…

key for said circuit = a generic term for any device whose possession entitles the holder to a means of access [Jesus' giving us His spiritual keys to the kingdom...temporal [first] and then social and economic in the outward kingdom]

We suggest thinking of each human child of God as one point of light on our world [as in one individual] =  the quality of being is spiritually luminous; emitting or reflecting light [dispels darkness]

BUT NOW WE LOOK AT A LASER [spiritual application] =

1. Any of several [think fraternity of divine spirit] devices that emit highly amplified beams with multiple Power [all joined together in unison] and coherent [we recognize what we are doing] radiation of one or more discrete wavelengths. One of the most common lasers makes use of atoms in a meta-stable energy state [combined spiritual/personality vibrations/energies standing upon the Son of the Living God], which, as they decay to a lower energy level, stimulate others to decay, resulting in a cascade of emitted radiation [to affect the decay of the forces of sin and evil on our world].

2. A beam of radiation emitted by a laser. [has the power to destroy or 'cut through' to affect a solution]

Please Note: Anything that teaches a ‘consciousness power’ without the indwelling Paradise Father/Jesus is claiming ‘you are God’. There’s not much power in that because you are not God!

This is powerful information. And it comes directly from what we know to be true from the life and teachings of Jesus. Here is even more for us to know! Now, let’s absorb how Jesus sees things:

158:5.1                                                      5. Jesus Heals the Boy

As Jesus drew near, the nine apostles were more than relieved to welcome him, and they were greatly encouraged to behold the good cheer and unusual enthusiasm which marked the countenances of Peter, James, and John. They all rushed forward to greet Jesus and their three brethren. As they exchanged greetings, the crowd came up, and Jesus asked, “What were you disputing about as we drew near?” But before the disconcerted and humiliated apostles could reply to the Master’s question, the anxious father of the afflicted lad stepped forward and, kneeling at Jesus’ feet, said: “Master, I have a son, an only child, who is possessed by an evil spirit. Not only does he cry out in terror, foam at the mouth, and fall like a dead person at the time of seizure, but oftentimes this evil spirit which possesses him rends him in convulsions and sometimes has cast him into the water and even into the fire. With much grinding of teeth and as a result of many bruises, my child wastes away. His life is worse than death; his mother and I are of a sad heart and a broken spirit. About noon yesterday, seeking for you, I caught up with your disciples, and while we were waiting, your apostles sought to cast out this demon, but they could not do it. And now, Master, will you do this for us, will you heal my son?”

(1757.2) 158:5.2 When Jesus had listened to this recital, he touched the kneeling father and bade him rise while he gave the near-by apostles a SEARCHING SURVEY. Then said Jesus to all those who stood before him: “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I bear with you? How long shall I be with you? How long ere you learn that the works of faith come not forth at the bidding of doubting unbelief?” And then, pointing to the bewildered father, Jesus said, “Bring hither your son.” And when James had brought the lad before Jesus, he asked, “How long has the boy been afflicted in this way?” The father answered, “Since he was a very young child.” And as they talked, the youth was seized with a violent attack and fell in their midst, gnashing his teeth and foaming at the mouth. After a succession of violent convulsions he lay there before them as one dead. Now did the father again kneel at Jesus’ feet while he implored the Master, saying: “If you can cure him, I beseech you to have compassion on us and deliver us from this affliction.” And when Jesus heard these words, he looked down into the father’s anxious face, saying: “Question not my Father’s POWER of love, only the sincerity and reach of your faith. All things are possible to him who really believes.” And then James of Safed spoke those long-to-be-remembered words of commingled faith and doubt, “Lord, I believe. I pray you help my unbelief.”​

(1757.3) 158:5.3 When Jesus heard these words, he stepped forward and, taking the lad by the hand, said: “I will do this in accordance with my Father’s will and in honor of living faith. My son, arise! Come out of him, disobedient spirit, and go not back into him.” And placing the hand of the lad in the hand of the father, Jesus said: “Go your way. The Father has granted the desire of your soul.” And all who were present, even the enemies of Jesus, were astonished at what they saw.

​

(1757.4) 158:5.4 It was indeed a disillusionment for the three apostles who had so recently enjoyed the spiritual ecstasy of the scenes and experiences of the transfiguration, so soon to return to this scene of the defeat and discomfiture of their fellow apostles. But it was ever so with these twelve ambassadors of the kingdom. They never failed to alternate between exaltation and humiliation in their life experiences.

​

(1758.1) 158:5.5 This was a true healing of a double affliction, a physical ailment and a spirit malady. And the lad was permanently cured from that hour. When James had departed with his restored son, Jesus said: “We go now to Caesarea-Philippi; make ready at once.” And they were a quiet group as they journeyed southward while the crowd followed on behind.

 

Our people need to heal!

​

Jesus went to the cross to be killed by the elites because

He knew this attempt would be made on us as well.

God Discovered is a global community of just that; His “human fraternity of the divine spirit’ on Earth. We teach the True Religion of Jesus. We provide resources for someone to become an ambassador for Jesus’ ministry in their own homes and local areas. We lead people in a simple practice of their own pursuit in attempting to make direct contact with their Paradise Father fragment who dwells within their own minds. This is the real meaning of the word ‘worship’.

The Jesus MeetUp is similar to how we all might go to church, temple or synagogues as a social event called “worship” [which it isn’t really] a Jesus MeetUp is a social gathering in a home etc… where we gather together socially to share in lessons about Jesus, His Kingdom of God with friends and family. We are still writing the entire 52 week program. About ½ is complete. It is designed to support the entire family, the single person and the child of God who is wounded and needs spiritual healing within. We believe that going smaller rather than the mega-church idea is far better in terms of our abilities to celebrate our Father. In smaller groups everyone can speak and be heard. Prayer is more vibrant.

We believe with our whole hearts that when each one of us experiences our God Discovered day [attaining our indwelling Paradise Father fragments = our Thought Adjusters] and we then come together in our

Jesus MeetUp gatherings to establish Jesus’ human fraternity of the divine spirit we are on our way as spiritual leaders. In these Jesus MeetUps we will not only encourage each other spiritually, but we will come together as unified human spiritual circuits recognizing our authorization by Jesus to collaborate together and request for our spiritual authorities, family and fellows to “flow” as a result of our free will choices.  We will persistently ask for Their assistance in cleaning up this Lucifer rebellion and to effectively STOP these forces of evil and hosts of sin IN THEIR TRACKS! They are waiting for US to make the BIG ASK!

Why do I seem to have so many problems in my life?

What are the solutions that will really last?

​

Problem: For many reasons, Jesus’ true teachings have been obscured since He was here, so much so that all of us as His children on His world do not know who they truly are, what their spiritual potential s are and what Jesus wants ALL of us to be doing spiritually in these dangerous days on our timeline.

Solution: Jesus wants us to learn all about our indwelling Paradise Father who lives in Paradise as our Great Source and Center of all things. He indwells each one of us with His Thought Adjusters and He wants us to know how we each may make direct personal spiritual connection with Him inside of our minds and souls any time we desire Him.

​

This is a REAL spiritual experience.

​

Jesus then wants us to lovingly serve our fellows and to be in social contact with each other towards the purpose to enhance what He called “the human fraternity of the divine spirit” [157:4.5]. This is a very powerful force on our world to affect spiritual and physical victory in this age-old spiritual war, the Lucifer Rebellion, we are all caught in.

Our Universal and world view comes out of The Urantia Book…

1. The Urantia Book is a “How To” book giving us the path to make direct contact with our indwelling Paradise Father fragments...our Thought Adjusters

2. In creating God Discovered www.goddiscovered.net and The Jesus MeetUp we are gifting everyone with a simple tool to create their own personal Jesus-ministries right where they live.

God Discovered has essentially 3 Piers. And they are...

• Pier 1) personal = attainment of the Father for the individual
• Pier 2) social = brotherhood of men, loving service to our fellows as we bring friends together to spiritually grow as a group
• Pier 3) ambassadorship/leadership = Turbo soul growth, score soul credits by taking up the mantle of loving leadership.

Explanation regarding our Human Power Potential s.

Our Sovereign Universe Master, Jesus said:

​

 157:4.5  After they had partaken of their meal and were engaged in discussing plans for the forthcoming tour of the Decapolis, Jesus suddenly looked up into their faces and said: “Now that a full day has passed since you assented to Simon Peter’s declaration regarding the identity of the Son of Man, I would ask if you still hold to your decision?” On hearing this, the twelve stood upon their feet, and Simon Peter, stepping a few paces forward toward Jesus, said: “Yes, Master, we do. We believe that you are the Son of the living God.” And Peter sat down with his brethren.

​

157:4.5 Jesus, still standing, then said to the twelve: “You are my chosen ambassadors, but I know that, in the circumstances, you could not entertain this belief as a result of mere human knowledge. This is a revelation of the spirit of my Father to your inmost souls. And when, therefore, you make this confession by the insight of the spirit of my Father which dwells within you, I am led to declare that upon this foundation will I build the brotherhood of the kingdom of heaven. Upon this rock of spiritual reality [that He IS THE LIVING SON OF GOD] will I build the living temple of spiritual fellowship in the eternal realities of my Father’s kingdom. All the forces of evil and the hosts of sin shall not prevail against this human fraternity of the divine spirit. And while my Father’s spirit shall ever be the divine guide and mentor of all who enter the bonds of this spirit fellowship, to you and your successors I now deliver the keys of the outward kingdom — the authority over things temporal — the social and economic features of this association of men and women as fellows of the kingdom.” And again he charged them, for the time being, that they should tell no man that he was the Son of God.

​

157:4.6 Jesus was beginning to have faith in the loyalty and integrity of his apostles. The Master conceived that a faith which could stand what his chosen representatives had recently passed through would undoubtedly endure the fiery trials which were just ahead and emerge from the apparent wreckage of all their hopes [after the cross and then He leaves this world] into the new light of a new dispensation and thereby be able to go forth to enlighten a world sitting in darkness. On this day the Master began to believe in the faith of his apostles, save one. [Judas, but Jesus still loved Judas and gave him every opportunity until the very end. Remember this!]

​

Seat-belts ON...and here we go:

​

Jesus refers to: A Living Spiritual Temple comprised of a Human Fraternity Powered by the Divine Spirit with our Paradise Father as our mentor/guide.

​

The Forces of Evil and Hosts of Sin = a conscious choosing to oppose spiritual progress — REALITY = OUR PARADISE FATHER’S WAY = an open and persistent defiance of recognized reality and signifies such a degree of personality disintegration as to border on cosmic insanity. [This is what we are dealing with today on a global scale]

​

He used the word prevail = intransitive verb an ACTION. Meaning to be greater in strength or influence; to triumph. To be predominant. To be in force, use, or effect.

​

When he refers to successors He is referring to US, today!

​

When He presents these Keys they are defined as = a means of gaining or preventing entrance, possession, or control. A deciding factor. Something that provides a solution. A switch for opening or closing an electric circuit for energy to flow!

​

Key as an adjective: extremely or crucially important.

​

Key as a transitive verb: to lock or secure with or as if with a key, to be essential or to play the most important part.

​

Outward kingdom [implying an inward kingdom also exists] He is referring to the material realm, social and economic.

​

Social = involving allies, of or relating to human society, the interaction of the individual and the group, or the welfare of human beings as members of society, tending to form cooperative and interdependent relationships with others

​

Economic = of, relating to, or based on the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services

Authority = authorization means that He is giving us permission of Power given to us directly by Jesus HIMSELF!

​

Over = indicates the possession of authority, power, or jurisdiction in regard to some thing or person, indicates superiority, advantage, or preference, more than.

​

Temporal = Jesus was relating to our earthly life, or of relating to the sequence of time or to a particular time.

​

Let us remember THESE KEYS OF THE OUTWARD KINGDOM ARE SPIRITUAL!

We suspect we are given these ‘keys to the outward kingdom’ because this is OUR WORLD, our dominion. Any off-worlders [aliens] do not have this kind of power because this world is not theirs. This is why they have to enlist the humans on this world in order to use them to do their bidding. In any event, WE are the ones who have been authorized the Spiritual Keys to our world’s Outward Kingdom. We just have to use them correctly, which we have been obscured from knowing all about down through history. Please let me repeat this:

THIS IS OUR WORLD AND WE MUST DO OUR SPIRITUAL JOBS IN IT!!!

We pity the fools who are rebels sinfully opposing our Paradise Father’s will for 606,

which is our planet’s number in our system.

Gabriel, our loving and highest archangel is praying like this, even now:

53:8.4 True, the Uversa tribunals have not yet rendered the executive decision regarding the appeal of Gabriel praying for the destruction of the rebels, but such a decree will, no doubt, be forthcoming in the fullness of time since the first step in the hearing of this case has already been taken.

​

We may all take comfort in the absolute assurance that this rebellion will end and our

personalities and souls are kept safe in the unassailable citadel of the spirit.

“The Kingdom of Heaven is within you” = approach this lesson with your HEART!

What is a kingdom? We know it as a region, a geographical territory which is ruled by a “king/queen” or some

un-elected ruler of that domain. There are 44 such countries on the world today led by kings, queens, sultans, emirs, shahs, emperors, including Pope Francis, leader of the smallest nation in the world called Vatican City, within the city of Rome, Italy.

During the time of Jesus, there were emperors and kings. Remember King Solomon and David from the Old Testament? So, while the term “kingdom” was automatically used to describe territorial possessions, this was not the preferred word of Jesus to describe the community of believers he was gathering. However, his apostles and followers had great difficulty in dropping the term “kingdom”, both from habit/tradition AND to desiring to be elevated to a prominent position in this ruler-ship!

​

This kingdom is a divine family and God is no respecter of persons.

He loves us all equally.

Here it is made simple, as taught many times by Jesus.

First, the kingdom of heaven is not of this material world. There is no palace or fancy building with an appointed king sitting on a throne overlooking his subjects in fine costumes with a special bloodline and lineage. However, “the universally recognized and unreservedly worshiped center and head of this far-flung brotherhood of intelligent beings is my Father and your Father”, said Jesus. (149:6.8)

​

From a bird’s eye view – the broad overview.

• The kingdom of heaven is a divine government, meant to be first established here in our world, then to progress onward to the Source.

• It is an exclusively spiritual brotherhood of God-knowing individuals, the social association of the spiritual membership of this kingdom.

• It is founded on the fact of divine sovereignty – God is spirit – therefore, a spiritual relationship between God and man.

• The kingdom of heaven in the hearts of men, women and children will create religious unity (not necessarily uniformity) because the Spirit of God is central and indwells everyone.

• It is purely a matter of spiritual concern.

• This kingdom is a life of progressive righteousness and increasing joy in the perfecting service of our Father who is in heaven.

• This kingdom is a spiritual experience having to do with the enthronement of God in the hearts of humankind.

• This is the truth that the kingdom of heaven is the spiritual brotherhood of man founded on the eternal fact of the universal fatherhood of God, who is the spirit head of this brotherhood. The Father cannot be excluded!

Now you can see the clear over arching idea of what the kingdom of heaven is according to what our Master-Brother Jesus has given us during his perfectly led religious life here on earth.

Jesus tried many times to substitute the kingdom idea with the following:

• family fellowship with God the Father as its sole foundation

• the family of God

• the Father’s will [the Father IS the Father’s will]

• the friends of God

• the fellowship of believers [those who have actually entered into this kingdom of God]

• the brotherhood of man [human fraternity of the divine Spirit = our Paradise Father]

• the Father’s fold

• the children of God

• the fellowship of the faithful

• the Father’s service

• and the liberated sons of God.

• Any ONE of these expressions in themselves clearly identifies what the kingdom of heaven is!

“The Master made it clear that the kingdom of heaven must BEGIN with, and be centered in, the dual concept of the truth of the fatherhood of God [foundation] and the correlated fact of the brotherhood of man [emerging from those who KNOW God. We know there are only 2 kinds of people. Those who KNOW God and those who do not.]. The acceptance of such a teaching, Jesus declared, would liberate man from the age-long bondage of animal fear [they become “devoid of fear”] and at the same time enrich human living with the... endowments of the new life of spiritual liberty.” (170:2:1)

What must we do the enter this kingdom?

“The keys of the kingdom of heaven in our personal minds and souls are: sincerity, more sincerity, and more sincerity. All men have these keys. Men must use them—in order to advance in spirit status—by decisions, by more decisions, and by more decisions.” (39:4:14)

We must first have FAITH [needs no proof], not just a belief [requires proof], in the truth-fact that God is OUR FATHER. And because we accept this, then all others in the world are his children, therefore, OUR brothers and sisters...this latter part being a planetary reality from which we cannot escape!

“..now have I (Jesus) come proclaiming faith, the gift of God, as the price of entrance into the kingdom of heaven. If you would but believe that my Father loves you with an infinite love, then you are in the kingdom of God.”  ~ Jesus (137:8.17)

Why do you think this is difficult for some people to believe or have faith? Have they not been loved by their parents, family or even friends, in the way that they should have been? That is, then, an extreme challenge to believe in being loved by God if they do not know the experience of an unselfish love from their first relationships of the parental or family unit. But this kingdom is open to anyone and everyone, everywhere at any time!

“In gaining an entrance into the kingdom of heaven, it is the motive that counts. My Father looks into the hearts of men and judges by their inner longings and their sincere intentions.”  ~ Jesus (140:3.19)

We cannot hide or pretend or make a show of believing and “being good”, like the Pharisees used to do. Our Father, who dwells inside our mind, knows/sees all! This is because following the completion of the mission of a Paradise bestowal Son (Michael, who is our Jesus upon his ascension), these Father Fragments (Thought Adjusters) truly become the “kingdom of heaven within you.”

We enter the kingdom of heaven by our moral decisions and by spirit victories; and when we once enter therein, we are promised to find joy, righteousness, and eternal life.  When once we have entered within this spiritual kingdom, we are required to be consecrated in doing the will of the Father in heaven and even to striving to become like God!

                                                                        The Father IS the Father’s will.

“With the spiritual attitude of a sincere child” we shall become regenerated, converted and born again; becoming a re-created child of the divine spirit, thereby gaining entrance into the brotherhood of the kingdom of heaven. Such is the “preeminence of the individual” of which Jesus talked, that transformed superiority from former ways, which transcends mere mortal existence and becomes spiritually-seeking over the materially-minded = the preeminence of the spiritual compared with the material; glorifying spiritual realities and exalting superhuman ideals. Soon after, we experience “the possession of new courage and augmented spiritual power.”

Preeminence: excellence, greatness, distinction

This new YOU can only happen by a unique, and desired personal relationship with our Father, through the experience of falling in love with Jesus, when we realize the higher qualities of spiritual living, bringing us progressively to new and higher levels of divine certainty and eternal grandeur.

Then, what happens?! What do we do upon our entrance?

​

Our business is to be ambassadors of a spiritual government on high, concerned only with the representation of the will and character of the divine Father who stands at the head of the government whose credentials we claim to bear.

​

In this kingdom where we find ourselves, we are to proclaim the good news of the gospel – the kingdom of heaven and that God is our Father and we are his sons. If you wholeheartedly believe this, it is your eternal salvation! Jesus’ 1st cardinal gospel message is that “the kingdom of God dwells within you” and THEN comes

the resultant brotherhood of man. We cannot have the latter without the former. Without the individual making connection with the Father first no other kingdom consequences emerge.

In the kingdom of heaven: “Whosoever would be great among you, let him first become your servant. He who would be first in the kingdom, let him become your minister.” ~ Jesus  (171:0.6)

Remember the parable of the mustard seed – the smallest of seeds which grows into

one of the largest of trees wherein come to nest all the birds of heaven.

We are that small seed as we start our part in kingdom building!

And because we know that Jesus is the SON OF THE LIVING GOD, he told us:

“This is a revelation of the spirit of my Father to your inmost souls. And when, therefore, you make this confession by the insight of the spirit of my Father which dwells within you, I am led to declare that upon this foundation will I build the brotherhood of the kingdom of heaven. Upon this rock of spiritual reality [that He is the Son of the Living God] will I build the living temple of spiritual fellowship in the eternal realities of my Father’s kingdom. All the forces of evil and the hosts of sin shall not prevail against this human fraternity of the divine spirit. And while my Father’s spirit shall ever be the divine guide and mentor of all who enter the bonds of this spirit fellowship, to you and your successors I now deliver the keys of the outward kingdom—the authority over things temporal—the social and economic features of this association of men and women as fellows of the kingdom.” ~ Jesus (157:4.5)

     “You are a child of the Universe,

               No less than the trees and the stars

                         You have a right to be here...”

The above few lines were written by Max Ehrmann in 1927 as he engaged in quiet contemplation throughout his life with his indwelling Father Fragment, the same gift we have from our Paradise Father residing within our own minds! Read the rest of this poem, with Latin title meaning “Things to be desired”, to take heart in your identity and destiny.

"Even if the door to the way of life is narrow, it is wide enough to admit all who sincerely seek to enter, for I am that door. And the Son will never refuse entrance to any child of the universe who, by faith, seeks to find the Father through the Son" ~ Jesus 166: 3.3

Who Am I? What exactly is my Identity?

​

It is a planetary reality that each and every one of us is a child of God!  Therefore, you need only choose to believe. THEN, must you accept his gift of faith to know, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that you are in his eternal embrace. In accepting this gift, you understand that you are a part of the grand universe, Creation, and are a sibling to all other creatures, being obliged to follow his “house rules”: to love and serve one another. Not easy as MANY others do not follow these rules! We can only strive to do our best.

Our Heavenly Father KNOWS we are imperfect, created us so!

​

Have you ever wondered: If we are created in His image, why are we so imperfect and do so much wrong?!

Actually, it is because of his indwelling Presence within our mind that we are in his image...in fact! His image is within US!  (In the lesson of Week #23, you learn and understand how you were CHOSEN by God for his new dwelling place.)

How does his perfect plan work for and with us? It is because of one of his other gifts to us – Free Will – that he guides us in our sincere cooperation with him, that we freely choose his divine way. Each time we do so, we are making it easier for him to work in and with our mind. Therefore, does he watch his imperfect children desire and choose to become more and more like him! What a delight that must be for our Universal Father to watch you and me in our consecrated desire to come closer to him!

OK.  Why Me? Or: Why NOT Me?!

​

“The divine nature can also be better understood by man if he regards himself as a child of God and looks up to the Paradise Creator as a true spiritual Father.” (2:0.1)

Since God is known throughout all of his Creation as the Father of Love, he needs to have children to love. When you accept that your true Father, upon whom all sincere fathers here on this world should be taking as their role model, you will realize how much you are loved...even more than the “best form of love” you have ever known here, as he does not expect anything in return, except your faith in him.

Contemplate until you KNOW: YOU ARE A CHILD OF A LIVING and LOVING GOD.

​

“The love of the Father absolutely individualizes each personality as a unique child of the Universal Father, a child without duplicate in infinity, a will creature irreplaceable in all eternity...” (12:7.9)

You are not only one of his divinely beloved children, but there is no one else who looks, sounds, thinks, acts like you in ALL of his vast creation = unique! Just as each child in any family here on earth is so different and unique a part from her/his siblings. And the fact that you are irreplaceable means that you need to do your level best as often as you possibly can to not let him down! There is NO way to make another YOU. You will end up being a gift to HIM, in eternity, which he looks forward to as much as you look forward to any exciting time in your life.

Jesus explained our choosing in cooperation with him as his will:

“The will of God is the way of God, partnership with the choice of God in the face of any potential alternative. To do the will of God, therefore, is the progressive experience of becoming more and more like God...”(130:2.7)

 

"It is in making the best decision, that we choose the way and the will of God. Hence, “sooner or later “the Spirit bears witness with your spirit (the Adjuster) that you are a child of God.” (34:6.12)

​

Know that it is only in the spiritual sense that you are a child of God.

Jesus in speaking with the young Indian lad...

“But most valuable of all, your potential of real achievement is the spirit which lives within you, and which will stimulate and inspire your mind to control itself and activate the body if you will release it from the fetters of fear and thus enable your spiritual nature to begin your deliverance from the evils of inaction by the power-presence of living faith. And then, forthwith, will this faith vanquish fear of men by the compelling presence of that new and all-dominating love of your fellows which will so soon fill your soul to overflowing because of the consciousness which has been born in your heart that you are a child of God." (130:2.7)

Then, does Jesus make it clear in simple terms:

“The earth child comes into being by the will of its parents. Even so, the child of God comes into grace and the new life of the spirit by the will of the Father in heaven." (144:4.3)

It IS the Father’s will that you are here and WHO you are!

As a Child of God, what is my Destiny?

​

Even though you may be confused about your origin, do NOT lose sight of your eternal destiny. Look at how our Father depends upon you and your choices for eternal survival.

“Upon the integrity of the human volition depends the eternal destiny of the future finaliter; upon the sincerity of the mortal free will the divine Adjuster depends for eternal personality; upon the faithfulness of mortal choice the Universal Father depends for the realization of a new ascending son...(112:5.5)

​

Let’s re-state this:

• the eternal destiny of you and me as a finaliter (our end spirit form) depends upon the sincerity of our will to choose correctly;

• the combined eternal personality of you and your divine indwelling Father Fragment (your Adjuster) depends upon the pure honesty and intention of your free will;

• our Universal Father depends upon your becoming REAL as an ascending son, by your steadfast and faith-filled choosing.

Said Jesus:

“Forget not—it is your personal faith in the exceedingly great and precious promises of God that ensures your becoming partakers of the divine nature. Thus by your faith and the spirit’s transformation, you become in reality the temples of God, and his spirit actually dwells within you. If, then, the spirit dwells within you, you are no longer bondslaves of the flesh but free and liberated sons of the spirit.” (143:2.4)

Do you see that in becoming participants in divine nature we are, by definition,

transforming into eternal beings?

“And having thus lived for the glory of the Father and the satisfaction of the Son, you shall enter with joy and exceedingly great pleasure into the eternal service of the everlasting kingdom.” (176:2.4)

Jesus WANTS us to have eternal life by earning it through loving service here on earth, pleasing both our Universal Father and the Son, which will prepare us for the adventure of service opportunities throughout eternity!

To the runaway lad Jesus said: “... settle down to the courageous practice of facing the facts of life; lay firm hold on the assurances of sonship with God and the certainty of eternal life, as I have instructed you. From this day on purpose to be a real man, a man determined to face life bravely and intelligently.” (133:4.11)
