Mothers' Orphan Mission

There are 29 million Children and in Adults in Slavery employment in  today's world...... they are trapped because they were given to employment by their very poor families, believing that they had the chance at a better life.  It’s, as I believe, in everybody’s best interests to take care of those, who do not have the means to care for themselves.  Maybe their parents have passed away from HIV AIDS, or are so poor that they cannot care for themselves.  There are 2 million Orphans in Uganda, and countless Widows.  As an International Family of Support Workers, we can provide for clean water, FOOD,  clothing, footwear, mattresses, blankets, schooling, and a chance ultimately, to provide land, gardening tools etc, as well as skills, to break children and adults out of poverty. 

I invite you to help where you can.  Children receive 90% of the donations (the rest is your fees), and the directors remain contactable and  honest in their communications.  They were Orphans themselves.  Read their stories.  I am also available to contact should any queries arise.  Let’s Attack Poverty together.  Giving is Living.

VISION AND MISSION OF THE ORGANISATION
VISION
To create self sustaining generation of youth.
MISSION
Empowering OVC and the youth out of social marginalization, isolation and discrimination through income generating initiatives and formal education with basic technical/vocational skills.

Located in Mayuge District, Eastern Uganda, we are focused at understanding the good news that Spiritual Family Network brings to us and through the Urantia Book studies we are sharing this message with our communities.

Mayuge Urantia Book Readers Hub is reaching out to communities around the district with the good news and guidance of the Urantia Book. We are also reaching out to the needy like Widows, orphans, young mothers with basic needs and psychological support/ counseling with the little resources available to us.

We are comprised of now over 30 members spread around the district and doing weekly visits to new communities as well as continuous studies with our existing members. We are however are in need of some equipment to ease our services to the communities.

These among others include:

1. Urantia Books  100 (To Be Issued Out to our new members and groups)
2. A camera at a cost of 550,000 Ugandan shillings. To cover videos and photos during our activities.
3. Laptop at a cost of 1,300,000 Ugandan shillings.
4. Facilitation to weekly outreaches and reading sessions, 1,000,000 Ugandan Shillings. (This includes transport, Conference room hire and refreshments for longer sessions). 

These will help facilitate and ease documentation of our activities for easy follow up and reference during future assessments.

Merry Heart Foundation is a Nonprofit Community Based Organization that is located in Wanyange, Jinja Uganda.

Due to the rise in the number of Orphans and much need for empowering Street Children and Girl child, this nonprofit was formed.

There are many orphans in Uganda due to the AIDS epidemic and other related illnesses and causes of death that has left many children without parents and struggling to get through life.

Our aim is to create a safe environment for such underprivileged children to grow, have food security, access to education, medical and other essentials of life.

Our home at Mityana Holy Faith Orphanage came about because of one little girl. As I was passing through a place here in Mityana called Buswabulongo, I noticed an orphaned child begging on a roadside. A passerby gave her some money, and she was so eager to buy food that she ran to get to the shop. As she crossed the street, she was knocked down by a car. That moment touched my heart, and I promised, from then on, to share the little I have with children like her.
