A Call for Support: Empowering Children and Communities through the Urantia Book Teachings

To all well-wishers, friends, brothers, and sisters,
We are reaching out for support as we continue to make a difference in the lives of 400 children through our organization, FIFTH EPOCH REVELATIONS (FER) ASCENDERS’ FELLOWSHIP COMMUNITY KALIRO UGANDA. Our mission is to provide basic education, integrated with the Urantia Book teachings, to these vulnerable children through our FIFTH EPOCH REVELATIONS INTEGRATED ORPHANAGE COMMUNITY SCHOOL PROJECT.
 

Our Programs:
Orphanage Community School Project: Providing education to 400 children, with 370 supported by donations and grants.

FER Women Readers Community: Empowering women through the Urantia Book teachings.
Children’s Ministry: Nurturing the spiritual growth of children.

Elderly Care Community Fellowship: Supporting the elderly in our community.
 

Our Needs:
Completing our Library and Headquarters: We need approximately $5000 to finish the construction. Annual Budget Deficit for the school project: We have a deficit of 25,724,000 UGX (approximately $7,000 USD) to cover our annual budget of 44,129,000 UGX.

Practical Training: Hands-on experience and apprenticeship-style learning are valuable methods.
Respect for Individuality: Learners should be encouraged to discover and grow at their own pace.
Lifelong Learning: Education is a continuous process, not limited to formal schooling.
Paper 71:7: Discusses the purpose of education, highlighting the acquisition of skill, pursuit of wisdom, realization of selfhood, and attainment of spiritual values (806.1).
Paper 82:0: Emphasizes the importance of family as a master civilizer and educational institution (913.2-913.3).
Paper 84:0: Highlights the role of home building in educational effort (931.1).
Paper 100:1: Offers insights on teaching children and the importance of loyalty in adult-child relationships (1094.5, 1094.6).
 

Additionally, The Urantia Book provides guidance on raising children in God’s image, emphasizing.
Moral Values: Teaching children about truth, beauty, and goodness.
Spiritual Growth: Fostering a sense of security, love, and trust through the concept of God as a loving Father.
Intellectual Development: Nurturing curiosity and encouraging lifelong learning.

These teachings can be applied in various ways, such as:
Creation Collage: Encouraging children to represent their understanding of the universe and God’s creation.
The Loving Gardener: Teaching children about God’s care through gardening activities.
Moral Treasure Hunt: Promoting moral values and ethical conduct.
