Juma's Tribute Song Gratitude

Paul Kemp, I’m sitting here and thinking of the road,
Of how you helped me carry such a heavy, silent load.
The days were getting shorter, and the walls were closing in,
I didn’t know where I could go or even how to begin.
But you reached out a steady hand when I was losing ground,
In a world of noisy shadows, you were the only solid sound.
You didn't just offer sympathy or words that fade away,
You gave me the foundation that I’m standing on today.

You helped me find my footing and you helped me win the fight.

The man I am becoming, Paul, is largely thanks to you.

Helping me to leave the narrow, fearful shadows of the past.

How we’re all just tiny pieces in the tapestry of time.
You taught me that we’re cared for, that we never walk alone,
In a cosmos built on mercy, from the footstool to the throne.
The truth has set me thinking, and it’s set my spirit soaring,
Like the rain upon a garden when the sky is finally pouring.
You gave me school for my career, but Urantia for my life,
A shield against the chaos and a balm for every strife.

It’s more than just the money, though that meant the world to me,

Giving me the tools I needed for a brand-new, holy start.
