I am called Agaba Josephat aged 21 years of aged.

My mother and Dad no longer exist who escaped and abdoned us.

We were born 8 in our family two boys and six girls.

While in my young stages, my father and mother had gone to pay a visit to one of my aunts. We waited for their return but all in vain we couldn't see them even after a several number of days.

One of our neighbours came in to inquire from us about where our parents had gone. As the elder I had explain all what had happened, she contacted our aunt but she told them that they had left her home and went back home.

The neighbor had some sympathy on us and she gave us her older child to care for us as we wait for their return.

It was around a month a certain group of people came in complaining that the land was theirs and I personally at my age of 12years I was too young to defend the property. My neighbor tried but all ended in vain.

So we were left homeless. Our neighbour helped us in providing us with food for a short time.

The expense was too big for her to supply for our family and hers

We were also chased away from the home and found a small house in the slum areas

At an early age of 13years I was forced to start moving on streets looking for jobs in order to earn some money to purchase food ,clothing and as well as pay for our fees.

So I became both a father and a mother my young sisters and brother.

It is now eight years and I have never seen them.

I am currently in my s6 class. (Higher level in the secondary institutions)

I now go to school by God's grace. I work as a compound cleaner at school as I also study. I only attend school for like 3days in a week then the rest I start moving around looking for school fees and money to provide basic needs to my sisters and brother.

I came to develop my talent of singing through attending conferences and fellowships.
