Do We Understand That Faith Is Trust In The Unseen?

One might say that every simple person is inclined to trust another. Yes, but the difference between the wise person who trusts bravely and the simple person who trusts readily is great. The wise man who trusts, if he/she is influenced by another that he/she may not, or must not, trust a certain person, even if he/she is given a certain proof, even then that habit of trusting will remain with him.

He taught trust in the omnipotent beneficence of God and proclaimed that faith was the act by which men earned God's favor. ~ The Urantia Book, (92:4.7).

As to the simple man, as soon as anyone says, "Oh, what are you doing, you trust somebody who is not trustworthy", his/her trust will change. That is the difference between the wise and the foolish person. The wise person trusts because he knows that to trust is the best.

2 Corinthians 3:4-6 “And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.”

Are our Prayers/Petitions In Tandem With The Will Of Almighty I am?

 

God Almighty always knows what is best for us in all situations - we do not! .

God's knowledge and wisdom is always perfect - ours is not! .

God knows what all of our future holds for us - we do not! .

“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” (1 John 5:14).

Too many of us are constantly asking God for things that God does not really want us to have.

Prayer is the sincere and longing look of the child to its spirit Father; it is a psychologic process of exchanging the human will for the divine will. Prayer is a part of the divine plan for making over that which is into that which ought to be. ~ The Urantia Book, (144:4.9).

"Trust in him at all times, O people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us."
May we be divinely guided in any of our undertakings

We must be willing to serve despite the challenges and obstacles of life.

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. (Mk 10:45, Mk 9:35).

Living with daily challenges doesn't have to be a negative experience. On the contrary, we can turn them into the most beneficial part of our daily lives. What matters is how we engage with our challenges, good and bad, that either consume our energy or allows us to create it; that depletes us or feeds us.

The intellectual earmark of religion is certainty; the philosophical characteristic is consistency; the social fruits are love and service. ~ The Urantia Book, (102:7.5).

The power that allows us to turn lead into gold lies within each one of us.

Can we look at our life's challenges with an open heart and sense of humor in service to humanity in any way we can?

But true religion is a living love, a life of service. ~ The Urantia Book, (100:6.5).

Glory be to the Office of the Christ, glory be to the Brotherhood of Light for illuminating us through Love, Light, and Fellowship!!.

1 Peter 5:7 .Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.

Wanting to be somewhere other than where you are creates discontentment. Think: Wherever I am, is where I am meant to be! This creates contentment.

Even if where you are, is not where you want to be, be content with where you are. Then you'll create the best possible opportunities, to be where you are meant to be.

The Universal Father is the only personality in all the universe who does actually know the number of the stars and planets of space. All the worlds of every universe are constantly within the consciousness of God. He also says: "I have surely seen the affliction of my people, I have heard their cry, and I know their sorrows. " ~ The Urantia Book, (3:3.2).

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,"Ephesians 1:3.

May The Loving Friendship of our connection with the Universal Father ever remains intact.

Living in the spirit can greatly aid to expand our consciousness in order to experience an enlightening and inspiring Self-Awareness process, designed to guide us to new insights, which can help us to shed limiting beliefs, thereby deepening our understanding to find and recognize more inner peace.

May we imagine ourselves choosing divine thoughts, high thoughts, and unlimited beliefs that these unlimited thoughts of living in the spirit create for us all.

Attention, presence, alertness, comprehension, responsiveness, being awake, the capacity to experience... and so on.

(107:0.4) Any mortal who has seen a Creator Son has seen the Universal Father, and he who is indwelt by a divine Adjuster is indwelt by the Paradise Father. Every mortal who is consciously or unconsciously following the leading of his indwelling Adjuster is living in accordance with the will of God. Consciousness of Adjuster presence is consciousness of God's presence.

One aspect of real faith is a constant awareness of God's divine presence throughout the various routines of daily life.

" (Acts 17:24-28). How fortunate is the person who has developed within himself or herself this consciousness of God.

From Today may we attend to the quality, integrity, and health of our consciousness in God's presence .

In the person of the Creator Son we have a ruler and divine parent who is just as mighty, efficient, and beneficent as would be the Universal Father and the Eternal Son if both were present on Salvington and engaged in the administration of the affairs of the universe of Nebadon.
