“Verily, verily, I say to you, he who rules his own self is greater than he who captures a city. Self-mastery is the measure of man’s moral nature and the indicator of his spiritual development. In the old order you fasted and prayed; as the new creature of the rebirth of the spirit, you are taught to believe and rejoice. In the Father’s kingdom you are to become new creatures; old things are to pass away; behold I show you how all things are to become new. And by your love for one another you are to convince the world that you have passed from bondage to liberty, from death into life everlasting.

Love Rules in Time
Sunday’s come, our Sabbath day.
In Christendom, that is our way.
But life exists within the now
So everyday, to You we bow.

To know for sure that You exist
Know Love rules ‘less we resist
Is a leap of faith for most.
The way we live becomes exposed.

God is here for all of us.
To spread His Love makes one robust.
Filled with Spirit to do what’s right.
Is your life filled with all your might?

You can’t change what has gone past.
Decide to try your best to cast
His Love as far as best you can.
Attract! Give Love to every man!

Love will rule the Earth someday.
Until then progress will be made.
Everyday we’re closer to
A time when Love will rule with truth.

I can see the way ahead
Is beset with times misled.
But in the long run, lesson’s learned.
Progress through time sometime’s well earned.

Thank You, Father, yes I pray
For Your Love to have its way
On our planet and throughout
The Universes on our route.

118:8.2 Mortal man is a machine, a living mechanism; his roots are truly in the physical world of energy. Many human reactions are mechanical in nature; much of life is machinelike. But man, a mechanism, is much more than a machine; he is mind endowed and spirit indwelt; and though he can never throughout his material life escape the chemical and electrical mechanics of his existence, he can increasingly learn how to subordinate this physical-life machine to the directive wisdom of experience by the process of consecrating the human mind to the execution of the spiritual urges of the indwelling Thought Adjuster.

Patience
The rain today will turn things green.
Plants grow an inch a day, it seems.
As we live and work today, realize that love’s displayed
In many brilliant, hidden ways.

Look for it, and you will see.
The way God does His ministry.
Look beyond the page of books
And you will see the time it took.

The Human Race has been around
For so many years, that it’s profound.
Life evolved, or was it planted?
Is life something that’s invented?

Once Life starts, it tends to grow.
Before we were, it’s hard to know.
Perhaps we’re evolutions end.
Man evolved, or were we sent?

I think life on this world was planted.
And we’re the product that’s intended.
It took much time for life to grow
In the ways now that we know.

Eons, ages, time it took
To mold this sphere on which we work.
We have a destiny unfulfilled.
Twill be exactly as You’ve willed.

Thank You, Father, things occur
Terrible things, but life endures.
Learning how to do Your will
Helps Your love to be instilled.

Garden Planning
A gloomy, above freezing day.
We’ve passed into the month of May.
Memorial Day by this month’s end.
Mothers Day’s around the bend.

Very cool now for the Spring
But grass grows through most anything.
Everywhere we see new green.
Life is thriving, Spring is king.

Spring flowers adapt to this cool weather.
They truly give the Spring it’s color.
Daffodils can turn some heads
And purple violets grow in beds.

If you’ve planned your garden well
As things grow, fulfillment swells.
Deep within your soul you see
Beauty done creatively.

You and God work hand-in-hand.
You labor as He does demand.
Things work out as He dictates.
His love envelops what you make.

You create by what you do.
Do your best! Make that be you!
God will help if you just look.
Take the time to read His book!

Thank You, Father, for Your gifts.
When looking for You, Spirits lift.
