Sunny Days

Sunny all day long today.
Nice now for a stretch of days.
Cooler yes, it is still Spring.
But beauty is what nature brings.

Get some things done, now’s the time.
No rain today by God’s design.
To be outside alive’s a privilege.
Not reserved for just those privileged.

The sun is out for everyone.
But prison bars may block the sun.
But only those whom we have deemed
Guilty, and to them, we’re mean.

So what we choose to do, will be.
And if the Will of God, we see,
Then our choice must be the best
For all concerned, we need invest.

I place my Trust and Faith in God.
His plan for us, He will evolve.
We must follow, Faith’s the key.
Faith unlocks our destiny.

We become in this first life.
Evolving through all types of strife.
We become what can be known.
Enhanced by seeds of Love we’ve sown.

Thank You, Father, this day goes by.
There’s time for things, no need to fly.
But doing things that need to be done
I do them first, then I have fun.

121:7.2 The teachings and practices of Jesus regarding tolerance and kindness ran counter to the long-standing attitude of the Jews toward other peoples whom they considered heathen. For generations the Jews had nourished an attitude toward the outside world which made it impossible for them to accept the Master’s teachings about the spiritual brotherhood of man. They were unwilling to share Yahweh on equal terms with the gentiles and were likewise unwilling to accept as the Son of God one who taught such new and strange doctrines.

Be Kind

The sun is out, we’ll hit 50.

The day before us is nifty.

There’s always much that can be done

Before the setting of the sun.

What to do on this fine day?

Too muddy for groundwork today.

But temps are nice, we can enjoy

Fresh air, with windows we employ.

Open up the house today.

Screens keep bugs and flies away.

we get the air, and it feels fresh.

We know this day we’ll find success.

We’re going to plan and then complete

A way to make this day replete.

Balance my activities.

Make life of joy for all to see.

Try to be of help when out.

Take your time and stay about

The Father’s Business on your route.

What e’er comes up, just sing don’t pout.

Stay upon a route that’s kind.

Don’t worry about falling behind.

Do the best in front of you!

And things work out when this you do.

Thank You, Father, for the day.

I’ll do my best to go Your way.

On my route while I’m at play,

 5:1.6 If mortal man is wholeheartedly spiritually motivated, unreservedly consecrated 
to the doing of the Father’s will, then, since he is so certainly and so effectively 
spiritually endowed by the indwelling and divine Adjuster, there cannot fail to materialize 
in that individual’s experience the sublime consciousness of knowing God and the 
supernal assurance of surviving for the purpose of finding God by the progressive experience of 
becoming more and more like him..

Becoming

Still, it’s cold, but there’s no snow.
I’m rested well and on the go.
The day is young with much to do.
I need to always follow through.

There are things I need to do for self –
Errands for self maintenance elves.
They’re on the agenda for today.
Nothing boring in this fray.

Washing, shopping, should be done.
But I can live without ere one.
I could just sit the day away,
But sooner or later I would pay.

Lots to watch on the TV.
March madness takes much time from me.
YouTube is the way to go
To see how to do what you didn’t know.

Time savings when your search is right.
Learning helps to spread the light.
We benefit from experienced users
Who share their knowledge with YouTubers.

Current videos can’t be matched
Except when live TV’s dispatched
The timeliness of what’s depicted
Holds our interests, we’re addicted.

Father, thank You, tech is great.
The world I see, could be first rate.
If all agreed there’s but one God
And then know we all need evolve.

101:7.2 A philosophy of religion evolves out of a basic growth of ideas plus experimental living 
as both are modified by the tendency to imitate associates. The soundness of philosophic 
conclusions depends on keen, honest, and discriminating thinking in connection with 
sensitivity to meanings and accuracy of evaluation. Moral cowards never achieve high 
planes of philosophic thinking; it requires courage to invade new levels of experience and to 
attempt the exploration of unknown realms of intellectual living.

Evolve

Still, it’s cold, but there’s no snow.

100:4.3 But the great problem of religious living consists in the task of unifying the 
soul powers of the personality by the dominance of LOVE. Health, mental 
efficiency, and happiness arise from the unification of physical systems, mind 
systems, and spirit systems. Of health and sanity man understands much, but of 
happiness he has truly realized very little. The highest happiness is indissolubly linked with 
spiritual progress. Spiritual growth yields lasting joy, peace which passes all understanding.

Peace

A much more clearer day to start.
Still the clouds do not depart.
A warmer day – predicted 50’s.
Clouds retain the warmth, so nifty.

To always wake up to God’s plan
Is an attitude in demand.
Open your eyes to morning light
And see His Hands with pure delight.

He’s determined what you see
And He promotes a mystery.
One must think to understand.
Then Faith takes charge, it makes a stand.

Faith provides all that life lacks.
It helps you build your soul's impact.
You become as you do act.
God knows you best, and that’s a fact!

In life, you should do what you love.
A natural skill will then evolve.
You will get better every day.
Life becomes a joy that way.

For all of us to love each other
To know each other as our brother
Is truly easier than you think.
This world is quivering on the brink.

Thank You, Father, we exist
Because Your Will is what exists.
I give thanks, You help us choose
In a life that wins, we learn to lose.

79:8.4 The belief in, and worship of, the “One Truth” as taught by Singlangton 
never entirely died out; but as time passed, the search for new and higher 
truth became overshadowed by a growing tendency to venerate that which 
was already established. Slowly the genius of the yellow race became diverted 
from the pursuit of the unknown to the preservation of the known. And this is the reason for the 
stagnation of what had been the world’s most rapidly progressing civilization.

Truth Search

We’ll actually see sun today.
Under blue skies, live today.
The 40s will rule all day long.
Frosty nights play winter’s song.

What a February 1!
With winter weather I’m well-versed.
Hardly winter when it’s 40
With Spring not here, we have anarchy.

This weather differs from our past.
But life is short, it goes so fast.
So our perspectives are short too.
We keep records, oh yes we do.

Our records date from long ago,
But ancient records do not show
Temperature numbers in degrees.
We’ve not had long for this to be.

Stories tell us, record events.
We know what happened when time is spent
Looking at the records kept.
What’s been recorded we respect.

History’s written by the winners.
But now what’s written on computers.
Losers write their stories too.
Future sleuths will search for Truth.

Thank You, Father, as we record
Our perspectives do enlarge.
I am sure in years ahead
The Truth will shine where we are led.

167:2.2 “A certain ruler gave a great supper, and having bidden many guests, he 
dispatched his servants at suppertime to say to those who were invited, ‘Come, 
for everything is now ready.’ And they all with one accord began to make excuses. 
The first said, ‘I have just bought a farm, and I must needs go to prove it; I pray you 
have me excused.’ Another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I must go to 
receive them; I pray you have me excused.’ And another said, ‘I have just married a wife, and 
therefore I cannot come.’ So the servants went back and reported this to their master. When the 
master of the house heard this, he was very angry, and turning to his servants, he said: ‘I have 
made ready this marriage feast; the fatlings are killed, and all is in readiness for my guests, but 
they have spurned my invitation; they have gone every man after his lands and his merchandise, 
and they even show disrespect to my servants who bid them come to my feast. Go out quickly, 
therefore, into the streets and lanes of the city, out into the highways and the byways, and bring 
hither the poor and the outcast, the blind and the lame, that the marriage feast may have guests.’
 And the servants did as their lord commanded, and even then there was room for more guests. 
Then said the lord to his servants: ‘Go now out into the roads and the countryside and constrain 
those who are there to come in that my house may be filled. I declare that none of those who 
were first bidden shall taste of my supper.’ And the servants did as their master commanded, and 
the house was filled.”.

Ways&Byways

No snow, but clouds will rule the day.
Tomorrow sun will have its way.
Cold though in the single digits.
It’s wintertime and it’s just physics.

Every day the things we do
Requires a choice based on what’s true.
We must decide and then must choose
How we work to pay our dues.

How we do things in this world
Reflects how well we’ve taught our souls.
When we follow what’s inside
With It we are identified!

God is what exists within.
Let God guide and you will win.
It takes time to learn new skills—
To truly find and do His will.

But as you gain this attitude
New skills erupt, you do exude
An aroma that uplifts.
On God’s path there are many gifts.

To become what can’t be done
Is not the mission of God’s son.
God will never ask you to
Do something that is untrue.

Thank You, Father, precious Life.
I cling to it though I’m getting ripe.
Soon the years will break this form.
I’m going to hear then, Gabriel’s horn.

110:6.4 When the development of the intellectual nature proceeds faster than that of 
the spiritual, such a situation renders communication with the Thought Adjuster both
 difficult and dangerous. Likewise, overspiritual development tends to produce a 
fanatical and perverted interpretation of the spirit leadings of the divine indweller. 
Lack of spiritual capacity makes it very difficult to transmit to such a material intellect the spiritual 
truths resident in the higher superconsciousness. It is to the mind of perfect poise, housed in a 
body of clean habits, stabilized neural energies, and balanced chemical function – when the 
physical, mental, and spiritual powers are in triune harmony of development – that a maximum of 
light and truth can be imparted with a minimum of temporal danger or risk to the real welfare of 
such a being. By such a balanced growth does man ascend the circles of planetary progression 
one by one, from the seventh to the first.

Morning Light 

The morning comes in increments.
Clouds and snow are dominant.
But slowly morning light does come
With blowing snow before it’s done.

With morning light, we see some beauty.
It snowed last night, the dusting’s pretty.
Twill only last an hour or two.
The wind disturbs the morning hue.
Beauty comes and beauty goes.

Does it reflect time as it flows?
It reflects the hand of God!
God makes beauty, it evolves.
He’s an artist with His brush.
He paints real pictures with snow dust.

He’s mastered beauty to our eyes.
He puts the blue up in the sky.
Anytime you take to look
One can see His hands at work.
Beauty is in the beholder.

It excites and fills with wonder.
Take the time to look inside.
Excitement comes, you do decide
To follow what you find in there.
God knows you well, and He’s aware.

Thank You, Father, deep inside.
You know exactly how I’ve tried.
I do share my life with You.
You’re with me in all things I do.

76:5.6 The supermaterial government of Urantia, under the direction of the 
Melchizedeks, continued, but direct physical contact with the evolutionary races 
had been severed. From the distant days of the arrival of the corporeal staff of 
the Planetary Prince, down through the times of Van and Amadon to the arrival 
of Adam and Eve, physical representatives of the universe government had been stationed on 
the planet. But with the Adamic default this regime, extending over a period of more than four 
hundred and fifty thousand years, came to an end. In the spiritual spheres, angelic helpers 
continued to struggle in conjunction with the Thought Adjusters, both working heroically for the 
salvage of the individual; but no comprehensive plan for far-reaching world welfare was 
promulgated to the mortals of earth until the arrival of Machiventa Melchizedek, in the times of 
Abraham, who, with the power, patience, and authority of a Son of God, did lay the foundations 
for the further uplift and spiritual rehabilitation of unfortunate Urantia.

Direction

Continues cold, it’s wintertime.
Inside my home, I write my rhymes.
I love to write, and then express
The thoughts that fill me, and give me rest.

I want to be in touch inside.
We’re taught that’s where our God resides.
Joining us in all our ventures.
Get close to Him, don’t be a stranger.

God’s a friend to those who try.
He helps us live, shows how to die.
He assures us we’ll exist.
Death won’t take us off His list.

To live a life based on that Faith,
Will open Heaven and its gates.
Love will guide you to the top.
You’ll see then, things just never stop!

Let Faith be your scaffolding.
Decisions based on Faith will bring
Direction to your lifelong path.
Let Faith be your sails and mast.

Let love control direction’s wheel
And turn towards God, He’s your best deal.
Courageous Faith can help you heal
From anything that’s truly real.

Thank You, Father, for all we have.
Your Book has shown us our true past.
Understanding where we’ve been,
Help fill our gaps, fills us within.

103:3.4 Remember that in the religion of all ages the experience which is paramount 
is the feeling regarding moral values and social meanings, not the thinking 
regarding theologic dogmas or philosophic theories. Religion evolves favorably 
as the element of magic is replaced by the concept of morals.

Change

Bitter cold is on the way
And it will stay for several days.
Zero and the single digits
Cold is measured by our physics.

To document our current temps
We must have measure instruments.
We’ve invented ways to see
The temp observed comparatively.

We know the temp when water freezes
When it boils, and releases
Vapors into all the air.
Of these temps we are aware.

We divide the temps between
Water in it’s two extremes.
Centigrade divides to 100.
Fahrenheit is a conundrum.

We’ve only had these scales of temp
Since the 1780s, then did we invent
The Fahrenheit scale, so since that time
Temperature records could be in line.

Our temperature records before then
Are not in line with what has been.
We can’t be sure of accuracy
Only temp changes generally.

Thank You, Father, for times invention.
I know it flows by Your intention.
We all exist within its flow.
We live the now, where change is slow.

144:4.6 Prayer is an antidote for harmful introspection. At least, prayer as the Master 
taught it is such a beneficent ministry to the soul. Jesus consistently employed the 
beneficial influence of praying for one's fellows. The Master usually prayed in 
the plural, not in the singular. Only in the great crises of his earth life did Jesus 
ever pray for himself.

Self-inspection

The snow fell, continues falling.
The cars I see are all just crawling.
Blowing snow makes vision hard.
I can’t see across my yard.

I am prepared to stay at home.
There is no need for me to roam.
I got things done, now home is fun.
No need to hurry or to run.

There’s beauty in the blanket white.
It covers ugly from our sight.
White extends in all directions.
What a time for introspection!
A day to do exactly that.
I need less calories, that’s a fact!

Improving self will rule my day.
Strive to find a better way.
Lost within my own thinking.
Find my soul, that is me ticking.
To be whom I find deep within.
I’m not too good at staying thin!

Better with accepting self
And dealing with the cards I’m dealt.
Improving and adapting, too.
Life improves by what we do.

Thank you, Father, honesty
Begins within, begins with Ye.
You know exactly who I am.
You’re with my soul, and understand.

101:0.3 Religion, the conviction-faith of the personality, can always triumph over the 
superficially contradictory logic of despair born in the unbelieving material mind. There 
really is a true and genuine inner voice, that “true light which lights every man who comes 
into the world.” And this spirit leading is distinct from the ethical prompting of human 
conscience. The feeling of religious assurance is more than an emotional feeling. The assurance 
of religion transcends the reason of the mind, even the logic of philosophy. Religion is faith, trust, 
and assurance.

Inner Light

Beauty tinged, as this day starts.
When it ends, I’ve done my part.
The goal of life for this fine day
Is found within, where my mind plays.

Every day in life that’s lived
Be together with One Who gives.
He’s within you, Loves you too.
He abides with you in all you do.

He’s truly there, with Faith you’ll see.
You have the wings of destiny.
Let your higher nature thrive.
Help the world out as you ride.

Take the time to think it through.
Consequences are what you do.
Ripples in time, as you swim.
Swim towards the light, don’t become dim.

Be all you can, imagine more.
The way ahead is through that door
The needle’s eye you must go through.
The eye becomes a part of you.

The needle’s eye, the eye of God
Is deep within you as you jog
Through this life, He’s there with you
And He’s aware of all you do.

ThankYou, Father, the way ahead
While I’m on earth, and not yet dead,
Will be more intimate as I Trust
And let my Faith be more robust

34:6.11 The Spirit never drives, only leads. If you are a willing learner, if you want to 
attain spirit levels and reach divine heights, if you sincerely desire to reach the eternal 
goal, then the divine Spirit will gently and lovingly lead you along the pathway of sonship 
and spiritual progress. Every step you take must be one of willingness, intelligent and 
cheerful co-operation. The domination of the Spirit is never tainted with coercion nor 
compromised by compulsion.

Life’s Path

It seems like fall, not wintertime.

The weather is by God’s design.
He controls all things involved.
He helps us see how to evolve.

We’ve learned to tame the wintertime.
With fire and wood, we do design
Structures that are weatherproof.
And through the years we do improve.

Now we use more brick and metal.
We’re all connected via cable.
We know when and where there’s trouble.
We can react then, on the double.

We’ve come so far in how we live,
But can we learn to share and give?
Can we survive without more war?
We need to look within our core!

If we’d all take the time to look,
And read more of our sacred books,
I know we would advance ourselves.
God’s within us, there He dwells.

To learn the Spirit way of things—
Truly joy is what that brings.
Deep inside a Spirit shines.
It tries to show us what’s Divine.

Thank you, Father, deep within.
You know exactly where I’ve been.
i’ll advance within Your Spirit.
It is my goal to truly hear it!

132:2.5 Goodness is always growing toward new levels of the increasing liberty of moral 
self-realization and spiritual personality attainment – the discovery of, and 
identification with, the indwelling Adjuster. An experience is good when it heightens the appreciation 
of beauty, augments the moral will, enhances the discernment of truth, enlarges the capacity to 
love and serve one’s fellows, exalts the spiritual ideals, and unifies the supreme human motives of 
time with the eternal plans of the indwelling Adjuster, all of which lead directly to an increased 
desire to do the Father’s will, thereby fostering the divine passion to find God and to be more like 
him..

Beauty Can Lead

The beauty of the day begins.
Beauty starts somewhere within.
Beauty’s in beholders eyes.
First we see and then apprise.

To look for beauty’s the first step.
We often get what we expect.
Have faith your loved, things do work out.
God’s love is there without a doubt!

The best for all His universe.
That is His way, chapter and verse.
To Him, I’m sure, it makes best sense.
Get in His flow, right now, repent!

Improving as one’s life goes on.
Finding ways before we’re gone.
To make good things around you happen.
Life on earth is what we fashion.

We all contribute as we live.
We all give something, yes we give
What can you do, yes, right now?
Are you the one with the knowhow?

Courage to step up and do
The things you truly know how to.
To know yourself and not to freeze.
You can do as you believe!

Thank You, Father, we’ll become
More like You, we’ve just begun.
Every day we do decide.
We become the things we try.

66:7.15&16 Hap presented the early races with a moral law. This code was known as 
“The Father’s Way” and consisted of the following seven commands:

1. You shall not fear nor serve any God but the Father of all.
2. You shall not disobey the Father’s Son, the world’s ruler, nor show disrespect to his 
superhuman associates.
3. You shall not speak a lie when called before the judges of the people.
4. You shall not kill men, women, or children.
5. You shall not steal your neighbor’s goods or cattle.
6. You shall not touch your friend’s wife.
7. You shall not show disrespect to your parents or to the elders of the tribe.
This was the law of Dalamatia for almost three hundred thousand years. And many of the stones 
on which this law was inscribed now lie beneath the waters off the shores of Mesopotamia and 
Persia. It became the custom to hold one of these commands in mind for each day of the week, 
using it for salutations and mealtime thanksgiving.

Thank You

Good morning, Father, a day of thanks.
We’re going to fill our energy banks.
A day to feast with gathered guests.
I pray love fills all of our nests.

With love on board to pass around
A festive day with love resounds.
Families gather, share their goods.
The table set for brotherhood.

A time that’s special to this land.
We started something truly grand.
The pilgrims showed how they survived
Cooperating with the Indian tribes.

They learn from those who were indigenous.
Everybody has some genius.
They shared a meal of celebration.
Traditions formed in this great nation.

The Holiday season now takes off.
With black Friday we get lost.
The season’s made for all our Faiths.
With different days we celebrate.

A truly special time of year.
We all get filled with Holiday cheer.
Time to hold all loved ones near.
And thank the Lord that we are here.

Thank You, Father, for this day.
And as we gather, we all pray
For Your Peace within our hearts.
Love for all is what must start!

65:7.6 The acquisition of the potential of the ability to learn from experience marks the beginning of the functioning of the adjutant spirits, and they function from the lowliest minds of primitive and invisible existences up to the highest types in the evolutionary scale of human beings. They are the source and pattern for the otherwise more or less mysterious behavior and incompletely understood quick reactions of mind to the material environment. Long must these faithful and always dependable influences carry forward their preliminary ministry before the animal mind attains the human levels of spirit receptivity.

Learning The Spirit

A sunny day but in the 50s.
The weather is really pretty nifty.
The cooler temps do stimulate.
There’re things to do we contemplate.

Planning helps with things we do.
An action plan helps us pull through.
Planning helps the coming day.
It truly helps to plan your play.

Practice also helps us be.
It helps us see reality.
To practice what you want to do,
Helps perfect what is your truth.

Decide how you can help your God.
Cooperate and you’ll evolve.
God within will show the way.
Keep the faith when things seem gray.

Never lose your faith in God.
He’s with you on the paths you trod.
God will help when all seems lost.
Discover how their hearts defrost.

As we evolve, we will become
More like the God, we learn to strum
And play His music as we live.
The loving notes are His to give.

Thank You, Father, for Your notes.
I’ll spend some time, yes I’ll devote
Time and energy to Your cause.
I wish to learn Your Spirit laws.
