15:1.3 Urantia is situated in a local universe and a superuniverse not fully organized, and your local universe is in immediate proximity to numerous partially completed physical creations. You belong to one of the relatively recent universes. But you are not, today, plunging on wildly into uncharted space nor swinging out blindly into unknown regions. You are following the orderly and predetermined path of the superuniverse space level. You are now passing through the very same space that your planetary system, or its predecessors, traversed ages ago; and some day in the remote future your system, or its successors, will again traverse the identical space through which you are now so swiftly plunging.

Today
The search for signal still goes on.
Direct TV sings not it’s song.
It can’t work without a signal
It certainly is being fickle.

Oh well, the day will still be great.
We’re going to love our destined fate.
God’s in charge, so do not fear.
He has a plan to take us there.

We must have an open mind
Then it resonates with the Divine.
To look for good when in a mess,
Provides a Spirit with which we’re blessed.

God anticipates your needs.
He’s there when e’er your Spirit bleeds.
He tends your soul and plants some seeds.
His seeds will grow even with some weeds.

To grow to be upon this world
We must follow where we’re hurled.
We’re on track to spin and whirl
And learn from God so many pearls.

That’s the way our lives can be
If we choose to search for Ye.
Try to be as we perceive
Our best and as we do believe.

Thank You Father, for your plan.
It will diffuse throughout this land.
Someday our lives will truly be
Perfected in eternity.

158:7.5 After they had recovered from the first shock of Jesus’ stinging rebuke, and before they resumed their journey, the Master spoke further: “If any man would come after me, let him disregard himself, take up his responsibilities daily, and follow me. For whosoever would save his life selfishly, shall lose it, but whosoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s, shall save it. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul? What would a man give in exchange for eternal life? Man’s Way
Another Winter day’s in store.
It’s Friday night, we won’t be bored.
A day to celebrate our week.
The Super Bowl’s a bonus treat.

Athletics do take up our time.
There is less war than in past times.
But war is now much, much more lethal.
Our skill at war knows not, it’s equal.

We should nourish life on earth.
Different ways we must put first.
I guess we’re trying to progress.
With skillful minds, we’ve all been blessed!

To do the right thing, though it means
To sacrifice, and make you lean,
Is a virtue that’s desired.
It shows that you have been inspired!

Inspiration is within.
When you’re inspired, you more than win.
No matter what the outcome be,
The Will of God makes history!

The Will of God will give you joy.
You gather fruits as love’s deployed.
Love improves all that it touches—
Helps us slow down, we’re not compulsive.

Thank You, Father, with love You lead.
Within our souls, You plant Your seeds.
As they grow our souls expand.
We will improve the ways of man

101:1.7 Thus it may be seen that religious longings and spiritual urges are not of such a nature as would merely lead men to want to believe inGod, but rather are they of such nature and power that men are profoundly impressed with the conviction that they ought to believe inGod. The sense of evolutionary duty and the obligations consequent upon the illumination of revelation make such a profound impression upon man’s moral nature that he finally reaches that position of mind and that attitude of soul where he concludes that he has no right not to believe in God. The higher and superphilosophic wisdom of such enlightened and disciplined individuals ultimately instructs them that to doubt God or distrust his goodness would be to prove untrue to the realest and deepest thing within the human mind and soul – the divine Adjuster.

My Thinking
Rain is here to start the day.
The snow at nightfall comes our way.
A day when clouds will rule the skies.
But still there’s light to help our eyes.

We exist within some limits.
Too hot or cold, and we’d be finished.
Another place that we could be,
Is a place that we can’t see!

I’m glad we’re someplace where we are.
Heat comes from our closest star,
And we’re exactly within limits—
The comfort zone we’re in this minute!

By accident, or by God’s will?
Take some time and think. Be still!
So many accidents all in a row
Account for things that we don’t know?

A mindal force behind all things?
A light within you insight brings!
A God Creator answers why.
To understand, we must apply.

A God, to me, accounts for more
And rings with truth within its core.
The universe is mind projected.
It’s balance is just too perfected.

140:9.2 Jesus reviewed many features of the ordination sermon, delivered on this same spot, and then, calling them before him one by one, he commissioned them to go forth in the world as his representatives. The Master’s consecration charge was: “Go into all the world and preach the glad tidings of the kingdom. Liberate spiritual captives, comfort the oppressed, and minister to the afflicted. Freely you have received, freely give.”

Our Charge
Cloudy days with warmer temps.
As life goes on, we all attempt
To do as we are currently bent.
To see Your will’s a gift that’s sent.

You love us all, and we love You.
You have a plan for us to do.
All we have to do is love.
Your light will shine, all problems solved.

“Just to love” is not so easy.
This world’s complex and we’re too busy.
Impatience retards the way we learn.
We want so much, but work is spurned?

We must invest to have a future.
We must produce, not just be users.
Creating something new does both.
God creates within His host!

God asks you to be like Him.
We can unite the world we’re in.
Time it takes, but that’s His plan.
And it will happen throughout this land!

To be like Him an age or two
Must go by, yes, that is true.
We must traverse all finite goals.
Infinity defines our souls.

149:2.14 On both friends and foes he exercised a strong and peculiarly fascinating influence. Multitudes would follow him for weeks, just to hear his gracious words and behold his simple life. Devoted men and women loved Jesus with a well-nigh superhuman affection. And the better they knew him the more they loved him. And all this is still true; even today and in all future ages, the more man comes to know this God-man, the more he will love and follow after him.

Groundhog Futures
The sun will shine as morning comes.
This world revolves, then day is done.
One revolution marks each day.
The March of Time goes on its way.

As we live, we go through time.
We scrub ourselves so so we can shine.
Improving in our given station.
Uniting each and every nation?

The groundhog certainly sees his shadow.
The sun will shine without bravado.
Little heat but lots of light
And yet it’s colder come the night.

We’re not yet in the Spring of life.
This world is gripped by Winter nights.
But as we progress, Spring will come.
This world revolves around its sun.

Someday our “Social Spring” will come.
Love will flower, they’ll be no guns.
We’ll unite to do God’s Will.
And with our souls, God’s Love will fill.

Someday the nations will unite. .
In the future, they won’t fight.
Harmony will sing its song.
We’ll look for ways to right our wrongs.

Thank You Father, for this time.
Your Will will take us to Divine.
But first, we must decide to be
And work towards Love’s reality!

100:2.7 Jesus portrayed the profound surety of the God-knowing mortal when he said: “To a God-knowing kingdom believer, what does it matter if all things earthly crash?” Temporal securities are vulnerable, but spiritual sureties are impregnable. When the flood tides of human adversity, selfishness, cruelty, hate, malice, and jealousy beat about the mortal soul, you may rest in the assurance that there is one innerbastion, the citadel of the spirit, which is absolutely unassailable; at least this is true of every human being who has dedicated the keeping of his soul to the indwelling spirit of the eternal God.

Inner Shelter
I’m glad I’m inside where it’s warm.
Outside the winter is the norm.
We have learned to build our homes
So we stay warm when cold has grown.

We’re in the winter of our cycle
Designed, I’m sure, by Master Michael.
Designed with the whole world in mind.
A place for all by His design.

Places where it’s always warm
Though beset with many storms.
Likewise, places always cold.
Life there seems to be on hold.

But in the middle temperate places
Life evolves for many races.
Seasons change and alternate.
As time evolves, we see our fate.

Life exists, and we find ways
To lead productive lives today.
How we define the things we do
Defines our Spirit’s inner truth.

Attitude, what’s that about?
It directs – we choose our route.
Attitude can miss direct
Our choices from desired effects.

Thank You Father for all help.
I know, in fact, most are indwelt
With Your help, we will evolve.
And in the end all problems solved!

166:3.8 Even the apostles were unable fully to comprehend his teaching as to the necessity for using spiritual force for the purpose of breaking through all material resistance and for surmounting every earthly obstacle which might chance to stand in the way of grasping the all-important spiritual values of the new life in the spirit as the liberated sons of God.

“Breaking”
A cold and gloomy winter day.
The news is on. What do they say?
Who is competent, and who is not?
Do we believe what we’ve been taught?

With skeptic ears I listen to
The various pundits on the tube.
They’re vying for my ears attention.
They spread more fear than love’s affection.

I hope I know the current facts.
I know God’s love has all our backs!
Faith He knows what we all need
In the face of abject greed.

Who has got the favorite view
Of the lake and city, too?
A higher floor for your outlook,
Does this help with your input?

Your inner life can use your help!
Meditate within yourself.
Quiet beauty, undisturbed,
Promotes a peace within that works.

There’s an entity inside.
It wants to be your Holy Guide.
You know it every time you try.
It’s something that you can’t deny!

Thank You Father, it’s You there.
Somehow You’ve made me more aware.
Thank You for Your revelation!
It must be spread to all the nations!

52:7.15 All the worlds of Satania can join in the hope of the one who wrote: “Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for a new heaven and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless.”

Love the Future
Inches of snow upon the ground.
My eyes bring images that astound.
My eyes brought glory to my yard.
Might have to shovel! That will be hard!

With beauty, we have been so blessed.
To look for beauty’s Spirit no less.
A lesson found in ways of thinking.
The Spirit grows, It’s never shrinking!

Look for beauty when ugly seems
To rule this world and ruin our dreams.
There’s beauty in the Hands of God.
In the future war’s outlawed!

Always a method to this madness.
Though often times we’re filled with sadness.
I guess the future’s worth the tears.
We might not see with our short years.

Impatience with the Ways of God
Is fostered by the Techno-Mob.
Exponential laws increasing,
Always faster, never ceasing!

Time it takes to tune and turn

More truth perhaps would then survive.

81:2.17 The older river races made their huts by setting tall poles in the ground in a circle; the tops were then brought together, making the skeleton frame for the hut, which was interlaced with transverse reeds, the whole creation resembling a huge inverted basket. This structure could then be daubed over with clay and, after drying in the sun, would make a very serviceable weatherproof habitation.

Weatherproof
Winter’s truly here today.
A blanket white is on display.
No chance of melting this away
Until spring weather does hold sway.

This winter has been very warm.
In the South, there’s many storms.
Is California washed away?
No, not yet! Someday it may!

The change in weather’s hard to predict—
So diverse in its effects.
Disruptions when a structure fails—
Not built to withstand more than gales

We need to change the way we build.
More expensive? The market’s chilled.
But if we just continue on,
What we build will soon be gone!

Making structures weatherproof
Will always be a sought for truth.
Hurricane and cyclone winds
Without some shelter, make us cringe.

First we will electrify
Homes and cars to satisfy
Our need to stop effects of warming.
Reduce emissions is the warning!

Thank You Father, we’ll endure
And knowledge will be gained, for sure.
We will improve the ways we live.
Get more in tune, learn to forgive.

160:1.14 In a continually changing world, in the midst of an evolving social order, it is impossible to maintain settled and established goals of destiny. Stability of personality can be experienced only by those who have discovered and embraced the living God as the eternal goal of infinite attainment. And thus to transfer one’s goal from time to eternity, from earth to Paradise, from the human to the divine, requires that man shall become regenerated, converted, be born again; that he shall become the re-created child of the divine spirit; that he shall gain entrance into the brotherhood of the kingdom of heaven. All philosophies and religions which fall short of these ideals are immature. The philosophy which I teach, linked with the gospel which you preach, represents the new religion of maturity, the ideal of all future generations. And this is true because our ideal is final, infallible, eternal, universal, absolute, and infinite.

What’s Ahead
The snow is frozen, all crust like.
The temps did dip throughout the night.
The slushy snow froze where it lay
And now obstructs our walk today.

The crispness of the morning air
Fills our lungs, and gives us flare.
Every day we’re more aware.
Your presence shows You really care.

We must look to see and find
An inner presence that’s Divine!
Life is simpler when we’re blind.

Turn a blind eye unto God?
And yet in life, you try to solve
The question of what life‘s about.
Stop right now. Observe your route!

Take a look at your direction.
Search and look – do your inspection.
What controls how you decide?
You can direct how well you ride.

God’s way ahead might seem too much.
You want a shortcut – way to fudge.
God knows all your thinking habits.
His way is never ever static!

195:10.18 Christianity is an extemporized religion, and therefore must it operate in low gear. High-gear spiritual performances must await the new revelation and the more general acceptance of the real religion of Jesus. But Christianity is a mighty religion, seeing that the commonplace disciples of a crucified carpenter set in motion those teachings which conquered the Roman world in three hundred years and then went on to triumph over the barbarians who overthrew Rome. This same Christianity conquered – absorbed and exalted – the whole stream of Hebrew theology and Greek philosophy. And then, when this Christian religion became comatose for more than a thousand years as a result of an overdose of mysteries and paganism, it resurrected itself and virtually reconquered the whole Western world. Christianity contains enough of Jesus’ teachings to immortalize it.

God’s Gear
I slept in. The night was short.
Stayed up too late, that’s why of course.
But now I’m up and greet the day.
I’ll do my best to make my way

After I have read from You,
I pray to what’s inside, then do.
As I think the path is best.
That’s my choice upon this test.

Mistakes are made at every moment
By everyone, we are components
Of potential perfect people.
Spiritually, we all are equal!

As I go about today
I look around at what’s displayed.
Seeing the people as I pass by
And understanding when I try!

So then, if you do understand.
You’ll see much good is in demand!
As time flows and you pass by
Much can be done if you just try.

Habits developed when eyes were closed,
Must change when what results is shown.
Changing habits is not easy.
But one then sees how they’ve been creepy.

103:1.6 The realization of the recognition of spiritual values is an experience which is superideational. There is no word in any human language which can be employed to designate this “sense,” “feeling,” “intuition,” or “experience” which we have elected to call God-consciousness. The spirit of God that dwells in man is not personal – the Adjuster is prepersonal – but this Monitor presents a value, exudes a flavor of divinity, which is personal in the highest and infinite sense. If God were not at least personal, he could not be conscious, and if not conscious, then would he be infrahuman.

Work to Unite
Winter days seem all too gray.
No surprises for the day?
We can choose what we will do.
I am sure there’ll be surprises too!

There’s promise in the day ahead.
Things to do – go where I am led.
Try to find a way to love.
Problems fade as they are solved.

Saturdays have lots of sports
Some played on fields, some played on courts.
But really mostly on TV
Is where we play incredibly!

TVs have captured our attention.
Ways of thinking have us sectioned.
Every day the way we listen
Can help promote our coalition.

Promote all those who cross the aisle.
Cooperation is on trial!
Party lines have caused gridlock.
We need to gather in the flock!

We can unite o’er Spirit goals.
Achieve new peace as our souls grow.
Directed by our inner light
Gives me faith, we can unite!

Thank You, Father for this day.
