84:7.26 Civilization regards the parents as assuming all duties, the child as having all the rights. Respect of the child for his parents arises, not in knowledge of the obligation implied in parental procreation, but naturally grows as a result of the care, training, and affection which are lovingly displayed in assisting the child to win the battle of life. The true parent is engaged in a continuous service-ministry which the wise child comes to recognize and appreciate.

A rainy day, rain turns to snow.
No matter what, our “go” is slow.
Still there’re things that must be done.
I am up and day’s begun.

As dark turns to filtered light,
The morning sun today’s not bright,
We can see, but colors gray
Our light inside can show the way.

There’s good around us we should do.
You show a path that is so true.
Inner self illumination
Helps peace promotion through all nations.

Look inside, and then decide.
Your inner self can help you glide.

As kindness and your love shines through.

Live within, then you will find.
A life without that truly shines
First things first – your inner life.
Your time with God can turn you ripe!

As we ripen under God,
Some of us are often called
To learn to love effectively
And change ourselves internally.
