Her husband died 3 years ago of an unknown cause in his sleep. He had returned home from a long trip feeling ill and when she woke up, he was gone. They have 5 adult children who have moved away and she has 17 grandchildren. Out of those, she raises 2 of them. Both are in school. She grows coffee beans and sells them for income. Her current needs are a blanket and mattress. The blanket she received from us that all the widows received last year was stolen. It happened during a community mourning period, when all village members stay overnight at the funeral location of a deceased community member to show their respect. She is a Catholic.
