92:1.4 Mystery and power have always stimulated religious feelings and fears, while emotion has ever functioned as a powerful conditioning factor in their development. Fear has always been the basic religious stimulus. Fear fashions the gods of evolutionary religion and motivates the religious ritual of the primitive believers. As civilization advances, fear becomes modified by reverence, admiration, respect, and sympathy and is then further conditioned by remorse and repentance.

Remorse
What’s in a brand, or in a name?
In many ways, we are the same.
Motivation splits us all.
Various ways we can stand tall.

To look inside, and understand
The makings of what makes a man,
Can be revealing to your soul.
Experiencing all things is the goal.

God is with you high or low.
He’s with you everywhere you go.
When you fail, God fails with you.
He knows what’s best for you to do!

He always lets your spirit choose.
That way, your wisdom can improve.
To reap rewards of what you plant
You must attend the gifts he grants.

When together with your friends
What message do you truly send?
Not by notes, or words, of course.
What’s inside you has God’s force.

You reflect what you believe.
And truly shine, when faith is weaved
Into the fabric of your life.
Your fiber glows as you survive.

Thank You, Father, today will be.

195:6.4 At the time of this writing the worst of the materialistic age is over; the day of a better understanding is already beginning to dawn. The higher minds of the scientific world are no longer wholly materialistic in their philosophy, but the rank and file of the people still lean in that direction as a result of former teachings. But this age of physical realism is only a passing episode in man’s life on earth. Modern science has left true religion – the teachings of Jesus as translated in the lives of his believers – untouched. All science has done is to destroy the childlike illusions of the misinterpretations of life.

Direction
Another cool day, but with no rain.
We could use more, but thanks again.
Things refreshed with what we’ve got.
A twist of fate, it floods a lot.

Learning how to live’s a skill
One can’t learn from drugs or pills.
The every day experience of life
Might lead you to your growth, called strife.

So yes, I’m thankful for life I’ve lived.
Every day we live’s a gift.
You can’t escape from life experience.
And every day has some significance.

The ever-changing now of time
Goes through all our days in line.
We can’t go back, and change what’s been.
We can look forward as things begin!

Start some good things in your life.
Follow through with them, don’t strike.
Challenge self to be your best.
Everybody has their test.

I think the Guardians of our souls
The Angels have this as Their goal—
To make us work, show what we’ve got
And help us live a life God taught.

03:9.10 When reason once recognizes right and wrong, it exhibits wisdom; when wisdom chooses between right and wrong, truth and error, it demonstrates spirit leading. And thus are the functions of mind, soul, and spirit ever closely united and functionally interassociated. Reason deals with factual knowledge; wisdom, with philosophy and revelation; faith, with living spiritual experience. Through truth man attains beauty and by spiritual love ascends to goodness.

When Right or Wrong
This string of days gives one perspective.
Find yourself, don’t be reactive.
Patiently await, find calm.
Use your mind, accept when wrong.

That may be your hardest lesson.
You must adjust, change wrong’s direction.
Look for where a shift in focus
Might give to you a better locus.

Doing in the name of love
Just might help for you to solve
The problem that is facing you.
No matter what, love helps find truth.

The truth will always help you grow.
Your inner Spirit helps to show
Reality is there to see.
Become like It and really be!

More real as that’s how Heaven’s run.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless.”

New Things
Robot vacuums everywhere.
Each floor needs its own self care.
Minor bugs keep me aware
Of their whereabouts, everywhere.

Morning robots clean the floor.
They have no beings at their core.
Yet they frustrate me to death.
You cannot teach, when they know best.

We buy, but then have no access
To teach their program what is best.
It does learn, as it does map
And saves that info from its past.

Automatically it must search.
The best path forward, it cleans and serves.
When it gets stuck upon its path
I found it’s best to free it fast.

It’s the little things in life
That make the differences we like.
Sweet and sour, a mix of tastes
And time is something not to waste.

So robot cleaning makes much sense
If they save time, and don’t invent
Brand new hassles for our minds.
You can’t expect for them to mind!

Thank you, Father, for new tech.
But sometimes it can give headaches.
But progress always must be earned.
And always must new tech be learned.

101:3.3 It is this same spirit personality, in primitive and embryonic form, the Adjuster possession of which survives the natural death in the flesh. This composite entity of spirit origin in association with human experience is enabled, by means of the living way provided by the divine Sons, to survive (in Adjuster custody) the dissolution of the material self of mind and matter when such a transient partnership of the material and the spiritual is divorced by the cessation of vital motion.

This Is The Way
Courage, yes, it takes to meet
Adventures when they are replete.
Tests of building what you are
Helps to build a budding star.

Wisdom dictates with your Faith.
A wise approach helps you relate
To your Spirit deep inside.
Use that Spirit as your guide.

Deep inside you must have Faith.
Along with that, if you show grace
Things will work out the way they will.
It’s for the best, let your heart be still.

Calmness in the face of change
Promotes a wisdom that’s not strange.
A calmer mind can grok much more
And learns from what has gone before.

The more of wisdom you can gain,
Helps to smooth this life of pain.
Fewer mistakes as you grow
Helps to strengthen what you know.

Growth promotes more growth in you.
An easy life is not for you.
As you think you tend to find
Different skills can be combined.

Thank You, Father, for this life.

101:2.1 The fact of religion consists wholly in the religious experience of rational and average human beings. And this is the only sense in which religion can ever be regarded as scientific or even psychological. The proof that revelation is revelation is this same fact of human experience: the fact that revelation does synthesize the apparently divergent sciences of nature and the theology of religion into a consistent and logical universe philosophy, a co-ordinated and unbroken explanation of both science and religion, thus creating a harmony of mind and satisfaction of spirit which answers in human experience those questionings of the mortal mind which craves to know how the Infinite works out his will and plans in matter, with minds, and on spirit.

Know How
A string of hot days in a row
Promote a lack of water flow.
Desert like, the ground becomes
And only worse till the rain comes.

But sunny days help to promote
Good times of social plans of note.
So many things done in the sun.
That’s why the summer’s so much fun.

Balance, balance will be achieved.
But wide fluctuations are now received.
I hope these wide swings settle down.
We need some rain within our ground!

But though catastrophe may be,
We will exist, and we will see
Wiser ways to help us all.
The swings of progress, sometimes stall.

But swings of progress never stop.
Time goes forward, the now’s on top.
The now is where the shifts in weather
Provide those numbers we can measure.

We now have years of many records.
We have set so many standards.
When deviations do occur,
They stand out brightly, not demure.

Thank You, Father, we must learn.
From the data that we discern.
Change is something in the now.
I have faith in our know how!

101:10.9 Now, rather, are the sons of God enlisted together in fighting the battle of reality’s triumph over the partial shadows of existence. At last all creatures become conscious of the fact that God and all the divine hosts of a well-nigh limitless universe are on their side in the supernal struggle to attain eternity of life and divinity of status. Such faith-liberated sons have certainly enlisted in the struggles of time on the side of the supreme forces and divine personalities of eternity; even the stars in their courses are now doing battle for them; at last they gaze upon the universe from within, from God’s viewpoint, and all is transformed from the uncertainties of material isolation to the sureties of eternal spiritual progression. Even time itself becomes but the shadow of eternity cast by Paradise realities upon the movingpanoply of space.

I rose early from my bed.
Expecting early help from others.
They’re employed, but they’re my brothers.

We will install new things for me.
I’m lucky, but this isn’t free.
I must pay for what is rendered.
I know exactly what’s intended.

Things will go as God intends.
I’ll try to do things on my end.
We will accomplish God’s intent.
The guidance inside’s Heaven sent.

Perfection will not be achieved
But the way things go, I do believe
Will approach what is conceived.
With God’s help, we will be relieved.

Excitement with anticipation
Truly helps my imagination.
Visualize from the beginning.
See what is the final ending.

No matter what twill be God’s will.
The way things go – wisdom’s instilled.
We learn and find a better way.
Don’t let your mind be led astray!

Thank You, Father, patience will
Help develop and instill
Deeper thinking ways of thought.

5:1.10 The Father is not in spiritual hiding, but so many of his creatures have hidden themselves away in the mists of their own willful decisions and for the time being have separated themselves from the communion of his spiritand the spirit of his Son by the choosing of their own perverse ways and by the indulgence of the self-assertiveness of their intolerant minds and unspiritual natures.

The Spirit Way
The beauty starts on this Spring day.
Invigoration comes my way.
Anticipating all the best.
The best is what’s in store, I guess?

Just to guess is not what’s best!
Faith surpasses that, no less.
Faith so deep, you truly know.
God’s always the way to go!

Often times we cannot see
The workings out of what’s to be.
Adventure lurks at every step.
Faith is strengthened by your sweat.

Invigorate yourself with faith.
Don’t worry if you lose your face.
Face is restored by faith and grace.
Don’t ever worry about your pace.

Eternity yes, it may take.
But be right on and don’t be fake.
Show this world that you can sleep
Every day with Faith, that’s deep.

There’s many things we must go through.
Experience brings us close to you.
As we decide to become wise,
Our Spirits do become apprised.

Thank You, Father, help me see
The better ways to be Godly.

52:1.7 All mortals who are indwelt by Thought Adjusters are potential worshipers; they have been “lighted by the true light,” and they possess capacity for seeking reciprocal contact with divinity. Nevertheless, the early or biologic religion of primitive man is largely a persistence of animal fear coupled with ignorant awe and tribal superstition. The survival of superstition in the Urantia races is hardly complimentary to your evolutionary development nor compatible with your otherwise splendid achievements in material progress. But this early fear religion serves a very valuable purpose in subduing the fiery tempers of these primitive creatures. It is the forerunner of civilization and the soil for the subsequent planting of the seeds of revealed religion by the Planetary Prince and his ministers.

A Lighted Path
Beauty’s perfection rules the day.
The sun shines brightly on our ways.
The temps are perfect, warm not hot.
I give thanks for what I’ve got!

We must make the best of things.
Awake to what this life can bring.
Rich in spirit that’s heartfelt.
Experience is the heart of wealth!

Looking back, I am rich indeed.
There’s selfishness there, perhaps some greed.
To follow those on TV news?
Without a Spirit goal, you lose!

Never lose faith in yourself!
God within you chose and dealt
You and yours, your hands in life.
The growth within you’re going to like!

It’s a joy to know you’ve grown!
In looking back, mistakes you own.
No excuse for bad behavior.
You must learn to go through failure!

There’re blessings gained from no where/when else.
Do not fear to face yourself!
Recognize where you are at.
Find your pathway to God’s act.
