Love the Future
Inches of snow upon the ground.
My eyes bring images that astound.
My eyes brought glory to my yard.
Might have to shovel! That will be hard!

With beauty, we have been so blessed.
To look for beauty’s Spirit no less.
A lesson found in ways of thinking.
The Spirit grows, It’s never shrinking!

Look for beauty when ugly seems
To rule this world and ruin our dreams.
There’s beauty in the Hands of God.
In the future war’s outlawed!

Always a method to this madness.
Though often times we’re filled with sadness.
I guess the future’s worth the tears.
We might not see with our short years.

Impatience with the Ways of God
Is fostered by the Techno-Mob.
Exponential laws increasing,
Always faster, never ceasing!

Time it takes to tune and turn
Towards the truth, takes time to learn!
Too bad we can’t lead longer lives.
More truth perhaps would then survive.

Somehow I know! I thank You for
All this world, which I adore!

81:2.17 The older river races made their huts by setting tall poles in the ground in a circle; the tops were then brought together, making the skeleton frame for the hut, which was interlaced with transverse reeds, the whole creation resembling a huge inverted basket. This structure could then be daubed over with clay and, after drying in the sun, would make a very serviceable weatherproof habitation.

Weatherproof
Winter’s truly here today.
A blanket white is on display.
No chance of melting this away
Until spring weather does hold sway.

This winter has been very warm.
In the South, there’s many storms.
Is California washed away?
No, not yet! Someday it may!

The change in weather’s hard to predict—
So diverse in its effects.
Disruptions when a structure fails—
Not built to withstand more than gales

We need to change the way we build.
More expensive? The market’s chilled.
But if we just continue on,
What we build will soon be gone!

Making structures weatherproof
Will always be a sought for truth.
Hurricane and cyclone winds
Without some shelter, make us cringe.

First we will electrify
Homes and cars to satisfy
Our need to stop effects of warming.
Reduce emissions is the warning!

Thank You Father, we’ll endure
And knowledge will be gained, for sure.
We will improve the ways we live.
Get more in tune, learn to forgive.

160:1.14 In a continually changing world, in the midst of an evolving social order, it is impossible to maintain settled and established goals of destiny. Stability of personality can be experienced only by those who have discovered and embraced the living God as the eternal goal of infinite attainment. And thus to transfer one’s goal from time to eternity, from earth to Paradise, from the human to the divine, requires that man shall become regenerated, converted, be born again; that he shall become the re-created child of the divine spirit; that he shall gain entrance into the brotherhood of the kingdom of heaven. All philosophies and religions which fall short of these ideals are immature. The philosophy which I teach, linked with the gospel which you preach, represents the new religion of maturity, the ideal of all future generations. And this is true because our ideal is final, infallible, eternal, universal, absolute, and infinite.

What’s Ahead
The snow is frozen, all crust like.
The temps did dip throughout the night.
The slushy snow froze where it lay
And now obstructs our walk today.

The crispness of the morning air
Fills our lungs, and gives us flare.
Every day we’re more aware.
Your presence shows You really care.

We must look to see and find
An inner presence that’s Divine!

Turn a blind eye unto God?
And yet in life, you try to solve
The question of what life‘s about.
Stop right now. Observe your route!

Take a look at your direction.
Search and look – do your inspection.
What controls how you decide?
You can direct how well you ride.

God’s way ahead might seem too much.
You want a shortcut – way to fudge.
God knows all your thinking habits.
His way is never ever static!

Thank You Father for Your plan.
Someday love will fill this land!
Every day there’s progress made.
There’s more of us. We’ll never fade.

195:10.18 Christianity is an extemporized religion, and therefore must it operate in low gear. High-gear spiritual performances must await the new revelation and the more general acceptance of the real religion of Jesus. But Christianity is a mighty religion, seeing that the commonplace disciples of a crucified carpenter set in motion those teachings which conquered the Roman world in three hundred years and then went on to triumph over the barbarians who overthrew Rome. This same Christianity conquered – absorbed and exalted – the whole stream of Hebrew theology and Greek philosophy. And then, when this Christian religion became comatose for more than a thousand years as a result of an overdose of mysteries and paganism, it resurrected itself and virtually reconquered the whole Western world. Christianity contains enough of Jesus’ teachings to immortalize it.

God’s Gear
I slept in. The night was short.
Stayed up too late, that’s why of course.
But now I’m up and greet the day.
I’ll do my best to make my way

After I have read from You,
I pray to what’s inside, then do.
As I think the path is best.
That’s my choice upon this test.

Mistakes are made at every moment
By everyone, we are components

I look around at what’s displayed.

84:7.26 Civilization regards the parents as assuming all duties, the child as having all the rights. Respect of the child for his parents arises, not in knowledge of the obligation implied in parental procreation, but naturally grows as a result of the care, training, and affection which are lovingly displayed in assisting the child to win the battle of life. The true parent is engaged in a continuous service-ministry which the wise child comes to recognize and appreciate.

State of Affairs
A partly sunny winter day.
It’s Sunday, so there’ll be some play.
Worship takes the center stage.
We are at peace, but wars still rage.

The biggest bully seems to win,
Until law and order do begin.
We must invoke new laws with order
Unto this world and all its warriors.

Justice on a global scale
Must be expected through travail.
We must support those who’ve been wronged.
Invasion’s never right, it’s wrong!

We must have peace to interact.
Is trust between us still intact?
World conquest cannot be!
Except with love, which makes us free!

Anticipate the best outcome.
And pray to One, where love comes from.
God will show us what’s to be.
And love will take us there for free.

Demonstrate what faith you have.
Let good in you outweigh the bad.
Decisions in this world you make
Potentially can make us great!

Thank You Father, You have my trust.
This life on earth is most robust.
Yes, we do not yet have peace.
But love on earth, is being increased!

12:7.11 Brotherhood constitutes a fact of relationship between every personality in universal existence. No person can escape the benefits or the penalties that may come as a result of relationship to other persons. The part profits or suffers in measure with the whole. The good effort of each man benefits all men; the error or evil of each man augments the tribulation of all men. As moves the part, so moves the whole. As the progress of the whole, so the progress of the part. The relative velocities of part and whole determine whether the part is retarded by the inertia of
the whole or is carried forward by the momentum of the cosmic brotherhood.

Forward Ho!
A winter day with lots of sun.
As sun is rising, day’s begun.
Every day’s a new adventure.
We must be friends and not be strangers!

Look for ways to be of help.
We all deal with cards we’re dealt.
Find best ways to do your thing
And help some other hearts to sing.

With faith you’ll see an open path.
Don’t waver when bad things go passed.
Faith that God has love for you.
Can help you find the path towards truth.

The truth will always show with time.
The ring of truth has chime and rhyme.
And as the truth does manifest
We are aware of what is best.

Once you know you redirect.
The rocky road might cause a wreck.
We avoid our past mistakes
Like potholes on the road we take.

We’re directed to smooth roads.
Accepting God’s direction shows.
There still may be some rocks ahead.
