 Report on Activities with John Bannes in Western Uganda January 11 - 14th 2025

In the heart of Mbarara District, a powerful message now stands—a message of love, service, and the boundless goodwill that unites us all. This week, our team successfully planted the first signage carrying the inspiring words:

“Love is the desire to do good to everyone and everything in the infinitely eternal cosmos.”

This statement is more than just words; it is the foundation of our mission. It reminds us that true love is an active force, one that seeks to uplift and bring goodness to all beings. The translation in Runyankore ensures that this truth reaches the hearts of the local community, making it a guiding light for those who pass by.

Why This Sign Matters

This sign is not just a physical structure—it represents a movement. It marks the beginning of a series of installations aimed at spreading truth, beauty, and goodness across Uganda. The act of planting it was a moment of unity, with hands young and old working together, digging deep into the soil, anchoring this message firmly into the land.

Spreading the Light Further

This is just the first step. We are committed to planting more signs in schools, towns, and communities, ensuring that the message of divine love reaches far and wide. In each school we visit, we leave behind more than just a message; we leave books, footballs, and resources that empower young minds. Every sign we plant is a beacon, a reminder that love is the greatest force in the universe.

Dear Friends,

Greetings in truth, beauty, and goodness! We are delighted to share the incredible progress made in our recent mission and upcoming plans as we continue to spread the teachings of love and light across Uganda and beyond.

March Event: A Great Success!

On March 11th, we held a powerful gathering that exceeded our expectations. Attendees engaged in deep discussions on love, spiritual growth, and cosmic consciousness, guided by John Bannes. Many were inspired by the lessons shared (see the full presentation here).

At the end of the day, we gifted Urantia Books to eager souls, ensuring that more individuals could explore the truth for themselves. Additionally, we extended our outreach to two schools, donating a book to each institution to encourage further study and reflection. Watch the highlights from our event:

New Initiatives & Growth

 Billboard in Mbarara Town

We are thrilled to announce that we have secured a space for a billboard in Mbarara town. The message—“Love is the desire to do good to everyone and everything in the infinitely eternal cosmos”— will now be a visible beacon to thousands daily.

  Our Office Development

Our headquarters is gradually taking shape! While we are working on painting the space, we currently lack basic furniture. We welcome any contributions towards equipping our office with chairs, desks, and shelves to support our work.

Looking Ahead: May & July Missions

    Expanding Across Africa in July

A 7-nation tour is planned for July, where we will bring the Urantia message to Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Republic of the Congo, Cameroon, and the Central African Republic. This ambitious journey requires extensive preparation and resources, and we invite you to support this transformative mission.

It is a manifestation of divine love and mercy, bestowed upon humanity regardless of merit or worthiness. This perspective emphasizes the boundless grace of a benevolent Creator, reaching out to reconcile with His creation.

However, the narrative takes a compelling turn when considering the role of free will in the process of salvation...

The tension between divine gift and individual choice invites reflection on the nature of faith. Some argue that God's grace is irresistible, meaning that those who are chosen by God will inevitably accept the gift of salvation. Others maintain that humans possess genuine freedom to accept or reject God's offer, emphasizing the importance of personal responsibility in matters of faith.

Whether one leans towards predestination or emphasizes free will, the overarching message remains: salvation is a profound gift, and the journey towards it involves the sacred dance of divine grace and human choice.
