Many churches today operate more like a religious system than the simple faith Jesus taught. They emphasize buildings, titles, hierarchy, rituals, and outward appearances, while placing spiritual leaders above others. Some teachings rely on fear, telling people they will be cursed or punished if they do not follow certain rules or give money. There is often commercialization of faith through selling anointing items, charging for prayers, and promising miracles in exchange for offerings. In such settings, believers may feel they must go through a pastor or prophet to reach God, and churches sometimes compete with each other for members, numbers, and influence. This shifts attention from inner spiritual growth to external practices and institutional control.

The religion of Jesus, however, focused on a personal, living relationship with God based on love, faith, and sincere service to others. Jesus taught that God lives within the human heart, that all people are brothers and sisters, and that no one needs a middleman to communicate with the Father. He emphasized inner transformation rather than rituals, love instead of fear, and freely giving rather than commercialization. The religion of Jesus is not about belonging to an organization but about living a life of kindness, humility, forgiveness, and trust in God. It invites individuals to experience God personally and to express that experience through loving service, rather than through rules, titles, or outward religious performance.

Our First Outreach

With an initial collection of $100, we purchased basic household necessities—such as soap, sugar, wheat, and eggs—and supported a struggling family of three. The mother, Mama Iryn, and her daughter Iryn were especially in need. Iryn had stopped attending school after her father passed away due to lack of support.

Thanks to the love and generosity of Brother Pato Baton, who donated $450, we were able to take further steps:

$300 was used to pay full school fees for Iryn for one year, along with school uniforms and materials.

The remaining $150 was used to:

Provide startup capital to Mama Iryn for small-scale business.

Lease land for her to cultivate crops, funded partially by our foundation’s own contributions.

We are deeply grateful to Brother Pato for his compassion and trust. Because of his support, Iryn is back in school, and her family is rebuilding their future.

Upcoming Outreach – Ruyonza Village, Ibanda

Our next planned outreach will be a community empowerment event in Ruyonza, scheduled on 25th May 2025....a remote village in Ibanda District.

Teach self-reliance using available local resources.

Raise awareness about the importance of education.

Promote peaceful family living to reduce domestic violence and incarceration.

Share the uplifting teachings of Jesus from the Urantia Book.

We also plan to distribute:

1:Books and pens for children

2:Pads and soap for women

3:Hand hoes and pangas for men

After training and mobilizing the community to cultivate their land, we plan to supply:

Maize and bean seeds

Fertilizers like DAP for improved yield
